A Terrifying Tinder Date

I met a man on tinder a few days back, and we had decided to go on a date together. He picked me up from my house and we went for dinner at a restaurant.

The both of us had a pretty good time together, and while I was talking to him I felt like he was nice.

He looked like a charming and decent man. We spent a long time talking together, but after eating, I felt a bit unwell.

I felt nauseous and dizzy. After noticing I felt sick, my date offered to drop me home, but as he drove me home, my health started to improve.

Because of that he decided to come inside and have a cup of coffee.

Yet as soon as I stepped in the door, my health started to worsen again.

I told my date that I'm feeling very unwell again, and that I just want to rest. He told me "No problem, I'll go. You rest."

I left to go sleep in my room. I woke up due to noises disturbing me. These noises were coming from downstairs in my house.

I felt very nervous. I immediately phoned the police, and told them about the noises. The police officer told me they would be able to come in about 40 minutes.

Until then they would remain on the line with me in case of emergency.

But after only five minutes, the police arrived, and the man who broke in and hid in my living room was arrested.

This man was the same man who I had gone on a date with. When I walked into the living room, the state of it made my blood curdle.

All the furniture was covered in plastic. And on the table, there was a hammer and a saw.

The policeman told me that on our date in the restaurant, my date put drugs in my food. And when he came to my house, he secretly stole my keys so that after I slept, he could quietly sneak in.

The policeman also told me that when I was talking to them on the phone, my date was listening in.

And the police tracked that, and deliberately said they would come in 40 minutes to throw him off so he won't panic and escape. After that, I deleted the tinder app from my phone. I was very lucky that on that night, I woke up at the right time. And my life was saved.
