The rustling of leaves could be heard as laughter filled the air. Children  chasing one another happily as their mothers call for them. The atmosphere was lively, people were seen hurrying about in a festive mood. Some teenage girls of almost the same age group were seen gossiping as they sat in a circle picking vegetables and  peppers. It was obvious that something big was happening

So what will now happen to Akande?? One of the girls whispered curiously.

What do you mean??  Obviously it is over another replied

Yes he must have known nothing can ever come out of their love when his rival is the Ooni's son' a voice chirped in

The first girl asked , as if she was still not convinced

The other girls glanced at her and burst out in laughter obviously mocking the girl

   Please please please just stop dreaming

we are almost done let's take it to the kitchen before Olori deal with us ' Lola said with mirth in her voice.

They all stood up, the young girl that was mocked didn't take it to heart as it only strengthens her resolve to get the young warlord.

In a beautiful room not far from the main palace, an  extremely beautifully dressed young maiden was seen sitting in front of an older lady who was also dressed elegantly. Okay you people can leave" the woman said as the young maids who had finished dressing the young maiden payed their respects and hurried out.

   Maami am scared " the beautiful maiden said to her mother.

  My beautiful daughter, it is okay to be scared after all you have never met your proposed husband

What you feel for Akande is just a childhood crush it will be nothing compared to what you will feel for your king do not worry.

Adunni and Ajoke will be going with you and i have given them some herbs to prepare for you and also I have something I personally want to give you, the Queen said as she stood up to bring the gift out from its hidden place..

But Olori you have already showered me with soo many gifts.....

Moremi...haa I am your mother and I can shower you with so many gifts as I want eh this one is for you to use specifically for your husband. I will also give you the recipe and you will be the one to personally prepare it and when it is time you pass it to your own daughter. Her mother said, handing the wrapped gift to her.

Don't worry I will tell you how to use it, the Olori said with tears in her eyes hugging her daughter
