This is definitely the best time.. she thought as she opened her eyes which were closed in false pretence earlier

This is her fate and her destiny she cannot be caught

No if she is, everything will be over

A face appeared in her mind as she picked up her slippers

Determination surged through her as she hurried quietly...

It was almost dawn she cant afford to be seen.

Won o gbodo mu mi lailai ( I must never be caught)

These words were like a resounding song in her heart

Who is there?? She heard a voice called

Ne raa ni bee ( the voice asked this time softly)

She only released her breath when she heard the person closing the door

She quickly ran out through the small wooden door from the back

Yes!! soon she will be out

Olodumare please do not let anyone see or hear me let them be blind and deaf to me'' she prayed silently

She was scared but there is something more fierce than fear in her heart now it was as if Olodumare heard her everywhere was silent

Yes yes am almost there..

Fear and anger struck her heart as she felt perspiration down her back it was as if a bucket of cold water left for days in the clay pot was poured on her.... She turned as she came face to face with the one that Esu had used to defy her prayer to Olodumare..

OLODUMARE is the Supreme Being of the Yoruba Belief .I.e God Almighty

ESU is the opposite of God in modern yoruba but then he was also a god

Nee ra ni bee is the ilaje language question of whoI'm is there?? ( water tribe of the yoruba people of ondo state)

there are different tribes under the yoruba so dont be confused. The language is almost similar but different accent and pronunciation but it is still Yoruba and same meaning.

Won o gbodo mu mi is the yoruba way of saying I must not be caught while the ilaje says ahn gbudo mu mi

Same meaning different accent and pronunciation.
