I woke up to the sun's rays shining into my eyes. I covered my eyes with my hand and rolled over to the other side. But when I felt the grass under my fingers, I immediately sat up. True, I'm still in the game. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. Today was the day I would go on my first mission.

After a while I stood up and dusted myself off. Time to work, firstly, find something to eat and drink, secondly, find or make some weapon and thirdly, get to the meeting place. I had about three hours for the first two things. So let's get down to it and not waste time.

I managed to find water first. It was enough to go a few tens of meters into the forest and I immediately saw a stream with paw prints next to it, so I knew that it was possible to drink from it. I also found something like inventory in my character window. A simple backpack, an empty water bottle, an empty dagger sheath, an old sweatshirt, and earrings were stored there. I clicked on the earrings and a short description was displayed.

I drank a lot from the stream and then filled the bottle, which I put in my rucksack and slung it over my shoulder. Time to find some food.

I started to follow where the animal print lead from the lake and after a few minutes of walking I found the rabbit hole. Catching a rabbit was already more difficult. It took me almost an hour to catch him and get rid of the skin. Then I roasted it and ate it. I kept about half for the trip or for tomorrow, I didn't know when I would be able to eat the next time.

When I checked the time, I had a little over an hour to arrive at the meeting point, so I decided to look for some herbs in the forest that I could sell in town.

Inoa informed us yesterday if we are not interested in clearing the E-Rank dungeon in the next town and taking with us a newbie who was looking for a mission for beginners. The only thing that worries me a little is that a complete novice is coming with us. We don't have practiced cooperation together and we don't know each other's habits. "Hello, my name is Nate, I'm sure you already know that. What's your name?" I asked the very handsome man in front of me, and after shaking his hand I put my hands in my pockets.

"Nice to meet you Nate, my name is Micajah but Mica will do" the man replied to which I nodded. Abram started to ask Mica something, but I didn't listen to them anymore.

After a few minutes, we finally set off and Isai and Abram asked the newcomer everything possible. He successfully avoided some questions, the questions mostly related to his private life.

"Hey Mica!" I called out to the newcomer and turned my head back to see him.

"Huh?" he raised his eyebrows questioningly and Isai and Abram finally shut up.

"What race and class are you?"

"Shapeshifter and Assassin, what about you? And Abram and Isaiah?"

"I'm a Human and a Warrior, Isai is a Human just like me but he's a Tank and Nate is a Shapeshifter just like you but his class is Mage" answered Abram immediately. Mica nodded and then turned his curious eyes back to me.

"You changed race?" he asked, to which I simply nodded curtly. Mica took the hint and stopped asking.

The journey to the city where the dungeon is located took us just over four hours. We had lunch in the city, rested for a while and then it was time to enter the dungeon.

To be honest, I was nervous. But I didn't know if it was from the dungeon we just entered or from the fact that this is my first mission with people I don't know that well.

Isaiah and Abram talked to me all the way here and I got a pretty detailed picture of how they work. I even understood why they were talking to me. The closer you get to know the people you are going to work with, the better your cooperation will be. However, Nate was still a mystery to me. The only thing I knew about him, apart from his name, race and class, was that he used a katana to fight (when he didn't use spells as a Mage) and that was only because he clipped it to his belt when entering a dungeon.

Isaiah was a Tank, which meant he focused on defense and held a large shield in one hand and a light sword in the other in case he had to engage in an attack. Abram was a Warrior and also the leader of this group, which surprised me, I thought it would be Nate. Abram used a spear to fight.

I managed to sell the herbs I picked in the forest and bought the cheapest daggers possible. And that was also end to my money. But if this mission is successful, I'm sure I'll earn at least ten silver.

Isaiah was at the very front, followed by me and Abram, and at the end of our little group was Nate. We had our weapons in our hands and were ready for anything.
