Morning

Misty and Jay cuddled together for a while until Misty stomach let out a growl. She wrapped the sheet around her, swinging her legs off the bed and searched the floor for her dress. She lifted the torn shreds.

"Jay, did you have to ruin my clothes?" She sighed. "I don't have anything to wear now." Misty looked over at Jay.

"Who needs clothes? You look gorgeous without them." Misty threw him a dirty look. Jay smiled and jumped out of bed. Misty saw him walking naked over to her. She blushed, turning her head. He walked past her to a door and pulled it open revealing a closet full of clothes.

"We have plenty of things you can wear." Jay pulled out a long kaunak. It was obvious that it was made for Jay. One of the things that Misty had noticed is that most people wore either a short kaunak with a loose top or they wore a longer kaunak. They reminded her of the old togas she used to see on ancient statues. It sure made it easier for people to shift into their creature selves without tearing things. Misty smiled at the thought of Jay wearing a long kaunak in his jaguar form. Jay handed it to her and then pulled on his own kaunak.

"I'll go get something together to eat." He left the space and Misty quickly pulled on her clothes. She looked over at the tousled bed and blushed as she thought of last night. She looked down at her mate mark. Jay's petal had darkened to a deep shade of blue. Next to it was Kason's petal, still in the original blue shade. Misty realized that there seemed to be levels to how the mate mark presented on the body. Jay's must have gotten darker after they made love last night.

Misty's fingertips traced over the outline of the petals and over the 3 empty ones. She knew that she essentially had a divine mission, but that didn't change the fact that the idea of being with more than one man at a time scared her. Kason seemed to be a good guy, but she couldn't help but feel that everything was moving way too fast.

From the time she floated onto the beach to now had only been…5 days!? Misty wondered just how many hours there were in a day for so much to happen. Her mind began filling with rules about how time worked on Tamult. Each day was 30 hours long with 300 days in a year.

Transmigrating, getting kidnapped, finding out about magic, essentially marrying two strangers and getting a divine quest. She sighed and shook her head. This life was a lot more eventful than her life back home. Who could have guessed when she boarded the cruise in hopes for an adventure that the universe would over deliver like this. Thinking back to her kiss with Kason and her night with Jay, she blushed and thought about how much fun she was having despite the hardships so far.

She opened the door to see Kason leaning on the wall in the hall. His black and gray hair was combed back, and she could finally see his face for the first time. She was stunned. In the prison, had been half hidden behind dirt and shadows. After taking a bath, his beauty left her speechless.

Where there had once been unkempt black and gray strands was now a mane of soft and sleek black and silver. His skin was pale with a honeyed undertone that she was sure would tan to honey gold in time. His amber eyes glinted in the morning light, and he looked incredibly handsome.

His soft smile made her weak in the knees, and she could feel her heart speed up.

Then she realized that she was still a mess from the kidnapping craziness and her activities with Jay last night. She resisted the urge to check how she smelled.

"It looks like you were able to clean up. I was hoping to take a bath before breakfast."

"You look beautiful." Kason pushed off from the wall and leaned in, making her blush.

"Thank you."

"Do you want me to take you?"

"Can you? This is my first time at Jay's home. I don't know where anything is." Kason smiled and held his hand out.

"Let me lead the way." He waited till she placed her hand in his and pulled her down the hall and through a door.

Misty recognized the layout from Jay's family home and could smell the oils that Kason had used. The heady smell of sandalwood and lavender permeated the space. Kason spun around and she stumbled into his arms, her face buried into his shoulder. She inhaled the floral scent clinging to his body and hair and barely kept herself together.

"Here it is." Kason wrapped his arm around Misty's waist to steady her and pull her in closer. She looked up at him and she could feel his hard chest under her hands. Swallowing, she pushed away and stepped back.

"Thank you." She waited and Kason didn't move for a moment. She was about to ask him to leave when he gripped her shoulders and spun around. She realized that she had been blocking the exit and he had been waiting for her to move.

"Do you want me to come and get you after your bath?"

"No, it's fine."

"Alright. I'll head down." As he left, Misty peeked out of the door and watched as he disappeared around the corner.

After closing it, she spun around to lean her back against the solid wood. She let herself sink to the ground. Jay was gorgeous and Kason was even more so. If she had been at home, she may have bought a lottery ticket because obviously she had luck on her side.

Misty picked herself up and began to wash the dirt and grime off. Once the water ran clear, she redressed and headed down to her mates.
