Chapter 2: A New Era

Five years after their first encounter, both of helped each others to survive until they finally got into a village that were not abandoned

The village was lively, full of people, alive villagers, think that Aito and Thoru did not see for a long time now. Thoru headed without waiting to a local merchant and brought two apples, then gave one to Aito.

"That's the only thing I can afford, sorry if your stomach remains empty after that", Thoru said with a little deception tone.

"Don't worry Miss.Thoru I'll be fine, thank you for the apple" Aito said while smiling at her.

Both of them were enjoying their apple when suddenly, a weird merchant that were wearing a weird hat, came to them. He, then, asked with his weird disgusting voice

"Are you both dragons?"

Aito wanted to reply, but Thoru, just took his hand and immediately walked away without turning back.

"Miss. Thoru, why?" asked Aito, confused.

"Just don't talk to this stranger."

"we got into a not so welcoming village."

" I knew that I already saw this weird guy" said Thoru

"What do you mean?" replied Aito.

With a worried expression, she replied to Aito.

"Well, dragons are not welcomed here, it is a village full of anti-dragons. If they know who we really are, they are going to kill us".

By hearing those specific words, Aito entered a worried state and saw again the images in his head about the massacre that happened in his village. A great sudden fear took him, making him enable to move any muscles.

Unfortunately, for them, the problems were only starting. A group of guard approached them, and one of them asked:

"Please, strangers, show us your identity."

Thoru was thinking about what to do in this situation, should they ran away, should they fight…while Aito was still stuck in a panic attack.

"Your identity, please miss." asked again one of the guards.

Thoru, had no choice but to ran away, so she revealed her dragon form, and took Aito in the giant hand, and flew away. With her green looking-like snake skin, she flew away with Aito. The Guards, still amazed by what just happened, were stuck looking up in the sky, watching the beautiful dragon flying away.

As this land had become too dangerous for her and Aito, she decided to open a portal, to go to a different world, everything was done in a rush, and to be able to open a portal like this, it requires a large quantity of magic power. She went through the portal, and finally on the other side, a very modern looking city appeared, the light night sky were covered by the cities' light, and cars light. With all this light, Thoru was unable to see anything, and finished by crashing on some trees. Before hitting the ground, she protected the body of Aito so that he did not take all the impact of the landing.

And that's it, both of them, were somehow stuck in a world that they didn't know anything about. Thoru, were out of magic after using that great spell, Aito was unable to use this spell, his power magic level, was too low, obviously.

3 WEEKS LATER

Subsequently, Thoru and Aito got a little of their physical force back, both of them decided to discover this new world. This world was full of noises, bright colors, different smell that they had never heard or felt. This place was definitely different from what they had usually seen. Both of them were amazed by the size of the massive building, the plane that they could saw flying just like them.

"This world, is beautiful, Miss.Thoru." Said Aito amazed.

"Don't let your guard down, Aito" replied Thoru with a defensive tone.

"Yes, Miss.Thoru" replied Aito

"Wait!" exclaimed Thoru.

Aito Looked at Thoru, quizzically.

"I KNOW WHERE WE ARE!" shouted happily, Thoru.

"This is where I always wanted to be" Smiled Thoru.

"The place?" Asked Aito

"Yes! My biggest dream, was to be a maid, in this world." Replied Thoru.

"Are you sure it is this place?" Asked Aito with a lost expression.

"Yes I'm convinced!" Answered Thoru with an enthusiastic tone.

The face of Thoru could be seen to look brighter, her happiness was undescribable, she finally found a place where she can be happy.

"B…but, what about me, Miss?Thoru?" Asked Aito with a worried look.

"You're staying with me, of course, idiot. I'm going to protect you from every danger." replied Thoru with a giant smile.

"Aito…" Said Thoru

"Yes Miss.Thoru?" replied Aito

"This, will be the beginning of a new era for us dragon" said Thoru with a beautiful smile.

And just like that, a new adventure started for Thoru and Aito in this new strange world.
