Moon sparkles

For the past week, I have been running around following his orders. In my opinion, those errands can be done by any servants in the mansion! Compared to day one, I think I have gotten used to how he orders me around? The downside is since I'm always doing things for him I don't have the time to meditate and harness spiritual energy from the sun!

That slave driver also ignored me when I tried to ask my schedule on when I can gather spiritual essence! He even got angry saying I'm asking stupid questions! He is being unfair to me! After that, I will always call him Gou without any formalities what so ever! Well, that is if I'm alone or doing a monologue inside my head! Hehehe

Sure, I may wake up early to clean the garden, but the sun hasn't come up and by the time the sun has risen I'm already doing errands by Gou's side. I can still get by, by harnessing essence from the moon but its slow progress compared to when I was still able to gather spiritual essence from the sun.

I believe tonight is a full moon and if I gather spiritual essence from a full moon the energy that I will be able to get will be 3 times to what I'm getting now. So later after Gou retires, I will immediately go to my garden and meditate there.

If I do it in my garden I will be under the full moon's glow and I will absorb all its spiritual essence compared to doing it inside my room. If someone suspects me, I can just make an excuse that I'm tending to the garden since I can't do it by the day.

With that in mind, I quickly went to Guo's room and wait for his orders. I can't hear any movements from his room yet. I either must be early or he is late in waking up since every time I go to wait outside his room he will be awake and the servants will be helping him to dress up.

"What are you doing here?! The master is already up and inside his office! Why are you still standing there like an idiot? You are late and still have the nerve to stand idly here? If I was Master, I will make sure to have you caned 100 times then throw you out of here!" Some sharp-tongued servant said.

I looked at that servant and noticed it was one of the female servants. If I remember correctly she is one of those who have googly eyes whenever Gou is around? I now remember that she was the one who tried to seduce him one time inside Gou's office when she delivered his food!

She was wearing her kimono loosely so her cleavage was showing but instead of getting a lustful stare, he stared at her with pure disgust and reprimanded her for not wearing her uniform properly and even got punished by doing kitchen work for a month! That was pretty hilarious! Good thing I was able to watch it when he ordered me to fetch some documents from the archives.

"What? Are you done with kitchen duty and now you're free to roam around? If Gushiken sama sees you slacking off from kitchen duty I wonder what other punishment he will bestow upon you? Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go to where Gushiken sama is so that I can serve him." I smiled politely to her then left her there fuming.

Ha! Eat that stupid bitch! You can only dream of being stuck with him for the whole day! Though it may be at a disadvantage being stuck to him since I can't do what I want to do, still I like how I can slap it to their faces that their beloved Master is with this 'lowly being' as what they call me.

I reached the office and knock at the door. I heard him replied and I opened the sliding door.

"I apologize for being late." I bowed deeply showing that I was 'apologetic'.

He glanced at me and then went back to reading his document. I stayed bowing there but he didn't dismiss me. I don't know how long I have been bowing but I'm starting to get irritated. It's pretty tiring bowing in a 45-degree angle you know!

Can't take it any longer I decided to speak up. "If Master has no orders for me I will excuse myself and wait at the door for any further orders," I said then stood up straight and went for the door.

"Halt! Did I permit you to leave? Are you the master of this place or is it me?" He said coldly.

"You are the master of this mansion! I would not dare to take the position from you since I can see that it's tiring to order people around!" I said sarcastically at him. I couldn't keep my temper from flaring.

"Oh is it? You think I just order people around?" He asked in I'm-not-so-amuse-manner.

"Well, are you not? You just kept ordering me around and not let me harness any energy from the sun! That is so unfair! I'm not expecting to be paid any wages since I practically throw myself at you guys to have me stay here, but isn't too much to not have me gather any spiritual essence? I would also like to know my powers too!" I shouted.

After yelling at him and letting it all out, I just realized that I was disrespectful to him! I know I will get punished for this but I still kept my stand! So be it! Punish me for all I care! I just had about had it! I may have been very patient when I was still alive, but now I don't think I can be that passive about it!

"I see, then you can just stand in the corner and not do anything. I will not order you around since you feel like you are being mistreated." He said then smiled at me.

Seeing that smile somehow made me hesitate. Why is he not getting mad? For the past week, I saw how he gets angry or irritated for the mistakes I made, but now he is not letting me do anything? Is this a trap? Still being doubtful, I walked slowly to the far end corner of his office.

I don't know how long I have been standing here, but one thing is for sure… It's so fucking boring! I could feel my eyelids droop from sleepiness, but I can't fall asleep! If I did, it will be a certainty that I will bang my head hard at either the wall or on the floor, and he will have the time of his life enjoying my misery!

Even though I can feel my head nod in sleepiness I still tried to hold on and wait till the sun comes down. When I heard him stopped writing and stood up, I quickly bowed and bid good night. I didn't even wait if he has anything to say since I want to go ahead and start my plan.

I rushed out of the office and dashed towards my garden. I reached it in less than 5 minutes, so I first cleaned the garden so that if anyone suspected of me doing dodgy stuff and follow me they will see that I'm just cleaning. Second, it's still early so the full moon is not that fully visible yet since the sun is still setting.

After cleaning and trimming the branches of the trees, I looked up and saw the moon in full view. So I sat down and did my stuff in getting my dose of spiritual essence. It hasn't been a minute yet when I felt the energy in my body pulsed.

I don't know what it means but I just ignored it and continued. I feel a flood of the spiritual essence flowed inside my body and I could feel it's warmth coursing through my body. I felt like I'm alive again as if like my blood is flowing inside me.

I felt that the essence flowing in my body is being drawn towards my heart and circulating there. When suddenly there was a bright light that I can see even if my eyes are closed.

My eyes flipped open and saw sparkly dust all around me, like how a very known fairy sprinkle her pixie dust, but this sparkly dust is colored silvery blue and it's shining down from the moon. Looking up I see a ray of light from the moon shining solely at me.

Confused I just looked at the moon, this is the first time this had happened to me so I'm at a loss on what to do. And without warning, that ray of light bombarded me with that silvery blue dust and forced its way inside me!

Getting scared, I put up my arms to shield my face! "STOP!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

But what's weird is, it stopped! All the sparkly dust hovered around me as if waiting for my permission to enter my body. Still not sure if they are following my command I gave another order.

"Enter, slowly?" I dubiously asked.

As if it understood me, they enter inside slowly and steadily. I was so surprised my mouth is hanging open! How is this even possible? I have gathered spiritual essence under a full moon but this had never happened before! What's wrong with this moon?

I looked up and the moon is at its peak and after a couple of hours, the ray of light had slowly disappeared. I looked at my palms and opened and closed them trying to see or feel anything different.

I looked at the ground, I thought hard. I would want a grassy garden so I can lie around on the soft grass. I put my hands down on the soil and closed my eyes. I imagined that the essence that I gathered converted to energy and that it's flowing in the whole garden. Then I imagined that the green lush grass is growing and it's at a perfect 3 inches height.

I can feel something tickling my hands and legs. I opened my eyes and saw the grass grew! Woah! This is so amazing! So this could mean that I have elemental powers, specifically Earth element?

While I was still in awe, I heard some rustling from the trees, I looked up and was about to run when I saw a figure jump and landed on my newly grown grass. He walked near me and my eyes widen when I saw who it is!

"What the hell are you!?" He shouted at me. Uh oh! I'm busted!
