Heavenly….. Goddess?

I looked up and the hood of the robe was pulled down and that's when I saw the face of the thing that I mistook as a steel pole. Judging from the cloak this person is wearing, this one could also be a shinigami!

I stared at the face of the newly arrived shinigami. Since this person is wearing a cloak, I can't tell if this person is a he or a she. But one thing is for sure… This person is attractive!

Basing on the face, this person could be a she. The face is flawless and her skin is smooth you can't see any blemishes. She has kissable pinkish lips and has a straight nose. She has almond-shaped deep-set eyes and has medium-thick straight eyebrows. She has long straight black hair that I think reaches down to her waist. And when I looked at the color of her eyes, it's purple!

I didn't notice that my mouth is hanging open while staring at her! I have never seen a lady this beautiful in my life! Even when I was still alive I haven't seen anyone this beautiful! If she's a lesbian and had her hair cut she can pull off a handsome face! I think this is what they call androgynous?

Now I understand what they meant by 'A beauty that can topple the nation' or something to that effect in all the Chinese novel that I have read. By the style that she came down, she is like a Heavenly Goddess that had descended to Earth to grace us with her beauty! I may be straight but I can't help but appreciate her beauty and any minute now I might fall in love with her!

I was still gawking at her beauty, that I didn't notice the old man was already beside me with his head bowed and kneeling on one knee. "(My Lord, how can I serve you today?)" The old man said something in a very respectable manner that is completely the opposite of how he was shouting at me earlier.

Then my Goddess looked straight into my eyes! Her eyes looked sharp and maybe with a hint of glare with it but I don't care because she looked at me! Now I somewhat know what fangirls feel like when their idols look at their way! If I still have a body, I bet my face will be all red from blushing because she noticed me!

I was still in my little bubble when my Goddess looked at the old man. "(What the hell is this? You were given a simple task of clearing trash and you still left this nitwit behind?)" Then she pointed her finger at me!

OMG! Her voice may be a little low but it's like a gentle breeze that stirred my heart! I can turn yuri if it's you, my Goddess! "(Forgive me, My Lord, for my incompetence! Being shocked at the appearance of the scythe, I, therefore, conclude that she is no Goddess, but a psychotic bitch that is about to tear me apart! Losing the admiration I had for her, I muster all the power I have in me to make my escape!

Before she could swing her weapon at me, I dashed forward. I slipped past her and made a run for it! "(Dare to run away from this Lord?! Let's see if you can survive my attack!)" The crazy bitch shouted something at me.

I didn't want to look back but when she shouted something I instinctively looked behind. And when I did she was glaring at me and swung her weapon. Looking at how huge her weapon was, you would think that she will have a hard time using it but I was wrong!

Holding the scythe with one hand she swung it towards my direction. I can see that there was a purple-black wind blade that came out of her weapon and was about to hit my back!

I thought to do a serpentine maneuver to try to avoid the wind blade but I was a step too late and it hit me directly at my back! "Aaahhhh!" I can't help but scream when I felt that piercing pain!

I never felt this kind of pain even when I was alive! It felt like it was tearing my skin apart and due to the impact, I spat out something and was flung a few feet away! I touch the liquid-like substance from my mouth and I see something red… Is this blood?! Where did this come from?! I'm a ghost so I shouldn't be vomiting blood, right?

But before I can contemplate any further about the origin of this blood, I heard a crackling sound and then my body was hit like being electrocuted! I experienced being shocked by static electricity before but that was nothing compared to the intensity of this electric current engulfing me!

Is this the end for me?! I can't accept this at all! Thinking that, I concentrated and tried to see if I can absorb this electric current paralyzing me, but I guess I'm at my limit because I can't concentrate and slowly losing my consciousness.

But before I blacked out due to intense pain, I saw that the Goddess walked towards me, she was looking down at me and was saying something. I couldn't understand what she's saying at all. "Bit..ch! If... I... sur… vive t...his… yo...u're... de...ad!" I tried spitting the words out through gritted teeth!

I saw the shocked look on her face, maybe she was shocked to see that I still have the energy to talk back to her but I saw her sneered at me and said something. "Not only are you a dimwit but you curse at this Lord as well?! If you survive this then get ready for the punishment for your impudence!" She shouted at me.

The fuck?! Why is she saying 'Lord'?! Does she think she's a guy? And she called me a dimwit?! If I survive this I'll bitch slap her so hard she will be back to being feminine and be straight again! That was the last thing I thought when everything went black.
