Battle Trial 2

The first match between Deku and Bakugo ended in a loss for Bakugo. Deku had used his "Quirk" to punch straight upward, destroying the building and creating rubble for Ochako to use and defeat Iida with it.

Deku had to be brought to Recovery Girl after that because his "Quirk" output was too much for his body to handle and led to his arm being broken.

A few minutes later, the fuming Bakugo add the two other competitors entered the control room where the whole class observed while All Might talked about the details and such.

Ryoto wanted to talk to Bakugo, but this time, even his only friend wasn't allowed to approach him. So, Ryoto simply watched the second match as well.

The second match ended in an immediate win for Shoto Todoroki. He covered the whole building with his ice, making it impossible for his opponents to move.

The third match between chicken-head, Tokoyami, and the tough guy Kirishima ended in Tokoyami's victory, as Kirishima's team didn't have a clue about Tokoyami's Quirk.

The fourth match, Denki and Jiro as the Villains faced Ryoto and Momo, the Heroes. As it turned out, Momo could create things from her body, only if she knew the molecular structure of the object she wanted to create.

"What can you tell me about Jiro's Quirk? I know Kaminari can only emit electricity that will behave like normal electricity that flows through conductors," Ryoto walked beside Momo towards the building their trial would take place at, while planning.

"Her earphone jacks can be plucked into anything that isn't too hard. This concrete can easily be penetrate by her. And when she does so, the soundwaves will travel inside the object into her jack and inform her about our exact whereabouts," Momo informed, giving the two of them enough information to construct a plan.

"Can you create speakers and some sticky material," Ryoto asked.

"Are you thinking about placing the speakers around the building to overtone our steps and confuse Jiro?"

"Kind of. More like hurt her and scare her away from using her Quirk again. Before All Might gives us the green light, I need you to make a megaphone so I can talk to them."

Momo quickly created the things she needed and handed them over to Ryoto.

"Momo, I know this will sound weird, but haven't you thought about wearing a vest with a zipper and something longer for your legs? Your costume is too revealing and unprotective. A zipper would protect you and your dignity to some degree."

Embarrassed by Ryoto's sudden remark, she looked at his face, trying to see if he had a perverted expression. But she saw a stone cold face that really did mean what he said.

"I haven't really thought about it. I took inspiration from some Heroines, but as far as looking at the dangerous side goes, I don't have much to work with. If I get caught off guard once, it's over," Momo realized while explaining.

"Exactly," Ryoto agreed.

"Thank you, Ryoto. And by the way, I'm sorry about what happened to you,' she thanked and pitied him.

"No worries. And what happened, happened, right? You weren't involved, so you shouldn't care. Now, I will warn them before we go in. My Quirk can be really lethal if I take it to its max," Ryoto informed.

"Start!" All might gave the green light.

BEEP

"Te-Test. Ok. Jiro and Denki, surrender now or I will need to resort to force. My Quirk can be quite lethal, so if you don't want to get cut up, do as I ask. I will take your silence as a no," Ryoto talked to the Villains via megaphone.

There was no response even after waiting for over a minute. Momo had used this time to locate the dummy bomb on the second floor with the help of a drone she created.

"Second floor, Jiro's listening and Kaminari's waiting right next to the door," Momo informed.

"I will go in, activate the speakers and talk to me via headset if anything changes," Ryoto said as he went inside.

Holding his Katana close to him, Ryoto prepared to take out Kaminari first.

"They're still holding their positions. Jiro is right next to the bomb and Kaminari is on the door's right side from you point of view," Momo informed over the speakers.

Once Ryoto reached the second floor's door, he thought about the best non-lethal way he could take out Kaminari.

'How should I go on about this? I cannot blindly attack him through the wall, I might sever a limb or kill him by accident,' Ryoto asked.

'Boy, have you become stupid? Your boots' soles are made from rubber," Zoro reprimanded him. "Just enter and distance yourself from them so that you could just throw a dagger at them."

Ryoto did as Zoro advised. He entered as fast as he could, dodging Kaminari's electrically charged hands.

"1-pound Phoenix!" Ryoto yelled out as he slashed the air a few times, creating smalls gusts of wind which were tainted with his Quirk's effects.

Once the air slashes reached Kaminari, cuts opened up on his arms and torso, catching him off-guard and knocking him out by the pain he suddenly felt.

"OW!"

As Ryoto looked at Jiro's position, he could hear Momo yell through his headset. "Behind you!"

With a slight turn, he redirected Jiro's aim from his arm to his chest, and the second she touched Ryoto's vest, the sharpness, which even his clothes carried, cut deep into her palm, sure to leave a scar.

"KYAH!"

Jiro yelled out as she grabbed onto her hand. A second later, she felt the cold sensation of a blade on her ear.

"If you reach for the blade that faces you, you are bound to get cut by it. Surrender now, or I might need to cut your ears off," Ryoto pressured Jiro into surrendering, making him and Momo the winners of the fourth round.

After surrendering, Jiro was still scared of Ryoto, but she then realized that he had given her a cloth to put onto the wound. She didn't realize that he went to check up on Kaminari, too.

After Kaminari and Jiro were brought down to the medical bots and carried to Recovery Girl, Ryoto and Momo spoke about their victory.

"Great job, your Quirk is awesome," Ryoto praised, making Momo blush.

"Thanks, you did very well, too. I like how you knew your Quirk could be lethal and warned them beforehand, giving them a chance to surrender and come out unharmed and unscarred," Momo said.

"I predict we get ten out of ten points for this performance. Points for before and after the round as well,' Ryoto said, walking to All Might and the class.

And just as he predicted, All Might praised them for their performance and told the class to act like them when they encounter something like this ever again.

Ryoto waited for Bakugo at U.A entrance. He stood behind one of the many pillars, supporting his weight onto it.

As he waited, he could hear Bakugo approach, but before being able to reveal himself, Deku's voice yelled out to Bakugo.

"Kacchan! Wait a second," Deku yelled.

"What do you want, Deku," Bakugo asked, clearly annoyed by the fact that Deku was still among the living.

"I have to tell you something. It is something that I really shouldn't tell anybody, but because it's you, I believe you deserve to know it. My Quirk wasn't initially mine. It was given to me by someone else, and I cannot tell you who it is. And this Quirk, I cannot control it yet, but I wanted to defeat you while using it," Deku explained, setting both Bakugo's and Ryoto's wheels into motion.

'All Might's Quirk!' Both Ryoto and Bakugo realized.

"I don't care, Deku. You aren't even my rival. You're still a Quirkless nuisance. Look at our classmates. Look how strong they are. This half-half bastard, or this creation chick, or even Ryoto. You should've seen how he did in the trial. All Might said that Ryoto and Momo worked together perfectly. It couldn't have been better. And as longs as we have such strong classmates, I cannot be looking at a weakling such as you. DAMN! From this moment onward, I will become the strongest in our class, mark my words," Bakugo yelled, spilling some tears around the end.

'Kids... What can you say,' Zoro shrugged his shoulders.

Zoro and Ryoto decided not to reveal themselves. The rest of the day was used to train and think about what they had eaves dropped.
