Battle Trial 1

"Calm down, Bakugo. I know this is unexplainable. We cannot afford to attract negative attention," Ryoto warned Bakugo before he was able to pounce at Deku.

Both Bakugo and Ryoto were confused, the Deku they knew did not have such a powerful "Quirk" at his arsenal.

"We will talk after school, alright," Ryoto asked.

Back at the classroom, Ryoto sat at his designated seat. He sat two rows behind Bakugo at the window, he sat one row behind Deku, and one row in front of a curvy, black-haired girl that styled her hair with a high ponytail.

The results of the Quirk apprehension test were shown. 1st place is Momo Yaoyorozu, the girl sitting behind Ryoto. 2nd place is Shoto Todoroki, the half-white and half-red-haired boy with a burn scar over his left eye sat on Momo's right side. 3rd was Bakugo. And at 4th was Ryoto.

Classes started and the kids were quickly getting used to their new environment. When lunchbreak came, Ryoto walked to the packed cafeteria, looking for Miho. Ryoto told Bakugo that he was going to look for someone, and Bakugo couldn't have cared less.

A scary aura like Zoro's was palpable to every Hero and non-Hero-course student in his vicinity. As it turned out, the hunter was hunted first. Zoro's shoulder was grabbed, he turned quickly to see who dared to touch him, only to see the now healed face of Miho.

"How've you been, daddy issues," Miho asked.

"Better at orienting than you," Zoro said, pointing at the wet patch on Miho's uniform that was probably caused by accidentally bumping into someone.

"Glad to hear it. Want to get a bite to eat together," Miho took the initiative and invited Zoro to have lunch together.

They sat at a table and talked.

"I want to thank you again for what you did, Miho," Zoro thanked her.

"Oh... How cute," Miho disregarded his appreciation. "So, how is your new class?"

"A few interesting Quirks. I got Eraserhead as my homeroom teacher," Zoro informed.

"Oh, me too, not as a homeroom teacher though."

The three talked, not knowing that both their classmates were closely observing their conversation and seeing how the both laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

"I haven't told you, but I think it's more important than I might've believed," Ryoto said, sitting next to Bakugo inside the train. "The day of the slug Villain, when I went home, I heard something crash on my roof. When I went to check, I saw Deku and All Might talk. I saw All Might's real form. In reality, he is a skinny-tall, blonde guy. And the fight he had a few years ago wasn't so easy. All Might was injured badly. Most of his stomach and a part of his lung were taken out, and his All Might form could only be held for 3 hours. That's what I heard them talk about."

"I can't believe he hid his Quirk from me all this time! He thinks he's better than me," Bakugo said, enraged.

"Calm down, Bakugo. Let's just observe for a while," Ryoto advised. "But that doesn't change the fact that we should persuade Deku into dropping out.

The next day, after their normal classes, it was time for class 1A's first Foundational Hero Studies class.

"I am entering the door!" All Might entered the class, shocking most students. "It's time for a Battle Trial. Take you costumes and gather at training ground Beta.

'Finally, I can try my Hero costume on,' Ryoto thought as he exited the tunnel to training ground beta.

'I want steel-plated and steel-capped boots which features a blade running on the other part of my foot.

I want a pair of black cargo pants which is cut-resistant and features multiple pockets to store tools in it and on it. Because the pants would be too heavy, I want a belt that has first-aid kits specialized in cutting wounds and two shoulder straps to carry all the blades' weights. The belt should also feature a hook that I can hook my Katanas onto, two on both sides.

I want a dark-green shirt that goes to my elbows.

I also want arm guards that will protect my outer forearms with the most durable material I can get that also features a hidden, curved blade that extends towards my elbow.

For gloves, I want black ones that feature the same material as on the arm guards and have a hidden-spikes mechanism in the palms to create more grip with my Quirk.

I also want a bullet, stab, fire and water resistant vest that features pockets under my armpits where I can put daggers and other tools. I also want a cut resistant rope that I can put into or onto the vest.

And the last thing, I want a green headband that has the same color as my left eye,' Zoro had written inside the costume order.

Ryoto's Hero costume weighed 70 pounds and featured more than 30 blades. He received all these blades including a Katana with the best possible quality.

Ryoto looked more like a Villain than a Hero. But it was the most efficient costume he could come up with.

"Your best defence is your best offense. I like your costume, Ryoto," Bakugo praised, showing his Hero costume that had grenade features.

As the other students entered, the sight of a blade-covered classmate with scars on his neck put fear into their hearts.

Once Deku exited the tunnel, an unusual laughter could be heard from a scary duo.

"HAHAHAHHAH! LOOK AT THIS COSTUME! IS THAT A HERO COSTUME OR A ONESIE?" Bakugo and Zoro laughed until their stomachs started to ache. But once All Might showed up, they went silent.

Deku was angry as tears flowed from his eyes. 'He needed a bitch's comfort to come to his senses, pathetic,' the duo observed.

"Great costumes, future Heroes. I will now explain you the details of the Battle Trials," All Might said as he landed in front of all 20 students.

After explaining the 2v2 Villain vs Hero Battle, it was time to draw the matchups.

Match 1: Ochako Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya vs. Katsuki Bakugo and Tenya Iida

Match 2: Shoto Todoroki Mezo Shoji vs. Mashirao Ojiro and Toru Hagakure

Match 3: Fumikage Tokoyami and Tsuyu Asui vs. Eijiro Kirishima and Hanta Sero

Match 4: Denki Kaminari and Kyoka Jiro vs. Momo Yaoyorozu and Ryoto Matsuda

Match 5: Yuga Aoyama and Mina Ashido vs. Rikido Sato and Koji Koda
