Chapter 18: Babies

Pshhhh.

"Bakugo." Kazuki covered his right hand and placed his fingers on Bakugo's head. "Thanks." 

Bang!

"Kuak!" Bakugo's team was pushed back. "That damn shit!" Bakugo held his forehead, and a lump appeared.

"Ooooh Bakugo's team has been pushed back!" Present Mic shouted.

"Kazuki we can't move!" Ojiro said, their feet stuck on the ice.

"I need that," Todoroki said, his eyes staring at Kazuki. His group quickly moved, 'I can't get too close to him. I first need to find some distraction!' 

"Midoriya!" Midoriya stretched his right hand.

Kazuki moved his hands as Midoriya got closer, all of a sudden Midoriya's body was pulled back to his team and a dark creature emerged. 'Tokoyami?'

"Now Tokoyami!" Midoriya shouted as Tokoyami's quirk shot to Kazuki.

"Now!" Todoroki shouted and his team rushed at Kazuki. 

Kazuki used his fingers aiming to flick his fingers when all of a sudden. 'I can't move.' Kazuki moved his head, and Todoroki froze Ojiro and Kazuki's hands.

'Kazuki wasn't the type to let down his guard. Whenever I planned on freezing him, he would always protect himself with his quirk. Just like what happened in Combat Training.' Todorki stretched his right hand.

'He managed to let down his guard thanks to Tokoyami's surprise attack! His points are mine!" Todoroki was an inch away.

Jiro, Ojiro, and Mei were also frozen, only Kazuki could move his head and watch the fight. He gnashed his teeth. 'Move!' He used force, his eyes bloodshot. 'Move!'

Tap.

Boom!

Todoroki created a massive ice wall protecting his teammates from flying away.

While Midoriya's teams were sent flying.

"Look at the turn of events folks! Kazuki's team who was cornered managed to make a comeback!" Present Mic shouted.

Kazuki had managed to get out of the ice. '1% I used 1 percent of my quirk.' Kazuki gnashed his teeth. Luckily he was able to tap his fingers on his lap just in time.

The rest of the team had also gotten out of the ice.

"Oooh! Hey, Hey! Kazuki use this!" Mei gave one of her inventions to Kazuki. 

"What's this?" Kazuki asked holding the backpack.

"It's a jet pack! You're having trouble moving around because of us, I also bought some thrusters for the others!" Mei delightfully said. "Everyone amaze at the power of my babies!"

Kazuki put on the backpack, and Ojiro and Jiro also put on the boot thrusters. 

"Oi! You're not getting away Kazuki!" Bakugo's team rushed to Kazuki's. "Your headband is mine!"

"Annoying!" Kazuki flicked his hand at Bakugo's team once again.

Kirishima and the rest used their quirks to hold out. "Bakugo! We can't continue chasing after him! No matter what we do, Kazuki is safeguarding his headband. Not even the other teams can get to him even if we all attack him!"

The other teammates also agreed with Kirishima.

"Tsk," Bakugo ordered his team to chase after others. 'I'll win, I'll beat him!'

The other teams also noticed this and started chasing after the others. 

Even with Todoroki and Midoriya's attack, it wasn't enough to take Kazuki's headband. Seeing the difference in strength, the other's also started chasing after the enemy teams forgetting about the ten million points.

"No wait come back!" Mei cried aloud. "No!" She shouted defeatedly. "My babies can't shine without them!"

Ojiro and Jiro noticed the others forgetting about them and heaved a sigh of relief.

"Fight's over the headbands breaking out all over! Ignoring the ten million and going for second to fourth place isn't bad either!" Present Mic shouted.

Todoroki and Midoriya were the next target. 

As expected, Bakugo targeted Midoriya.

"Wooooahhhh!" The crowd exclaimed seeing the fight between Bakugo and Midoriya.

Meanwhile, Kazuki's team stood still without any other competitors.

"Wahhhhhhhhh! I should have chosen Midoriya!" Mei continued to cry out loud. "My babies are not getting the spotlight they deserve! Wahhhhhhhh!"

Ojiro and Jiro stayed silent, awkwardly looking at Mei who continued bawling.

Seeing Mei's crying face, Kazuki flinched. 'This woman...' Hinata's face overlapped with Mei's. Kazuki sighed and looked at Mei. "Where do I push the button to turn on the jet pack?" Kazuki asked.

"Eh?" Mei's face looked at Kazuki. "What are you going to do?"

"Just tell me where's the button?" Kazuki asked looking away from Mei's face.

"Here. What are you going to do?" Mei asked again. 

"You said you wanted your babies to have the spotlight right?" Kazuki asked a wide smile appearing on his face. "Then I'll make it, I'll put the spotlight on them."

Mei's face brimmed with joy. "Woooah! Really?"

Kazuki nodded and pressed the button, his body flew into the air.

"Ooooh! What is Kazuki doing now?!" Present Mic shouted pointing at Kazuki who flew with the Jet Pack.

'Can't believe I'm doing this.' Kazuki stretched his hands his eyes moved around the crowd. "My name is Kazuki Uchiku, and I'm here to show you the perks of Mei Hatsume's jet pack!" 

"Kazuki!" Mei bawled looking at Kazuki. 

"What is big brother doing!" Hinata covered her ears not wanting to hear her brother's next words.

'Fuck, what am I doing?' Even Kazuki had the same thoughts.

Kazuki clapped his hands, and a powerful wind pressure engulfed the arena. "Introducing the ultimate game-changer for heroes on the ground!"

"This is Mei's revolutionary jet pack! For those courageous souls who dare to defy gravity, this cutting-edge technology provides the power of flight to those who need it most." Kazuki said pointing at the jet pack.

"With this jet pack, heroes can soar to new heights, gaining the advantage over villains with unparalleled speed and agility." A smile spread on Kazuki's face as he stretched his hand, a charming smile appeared on his face.

"Kyaaaaaa!" The women in the crowd shouted.

"Whether you're a masked crusader, a caped defender, or a fearless warrior, This jet pack is your ticket to victory in the fight against evil. Don't let gravity hold you back – elevate your heroism to new heights with Mei's jet pack!" Kazuki still had his charming smile.

"To those support companies all over the world, I'm Kazuki Uchiku, one day I'll become a pro hero. I, the future pro hero, approve of Mei's! Mark my words and engrave in your head Mei Hatsume's name!" Kazuki flicked his hand and wind pressure spread across the arena.
