Out of nowhere, unstable blue energy or something close started spreading all over the void, and it went for hours ( Time in here is messed up ).

Slowly the energy stopped, and the whole black void has a tint of blue and gold to it now, and it looked beautiful.

[ Fusion complete ]

[ Force kicking the host...]

[ You won't be able to access the system for 3 days ]

That was the last thing Oki read, and when he blinked, he saw Melo sleeping, but something was off.

Oki looks at the ECG and realises what was off. Melo's heart had stopped.

Oki started crying, sobbing and talking to Melo as if he had gone mad.

"Sister Melo, please I will quit trying to be a hero, I will never think of being one. Just please please come back!"

"It's my fault, my fault, my fault "

"I will do everything you want me to just please return!"

Though Oki believed what was in front of him at this moment, he completely ignored and threw what happened seconds ago in the void back of his mind. He felt that it was due to him that Melo died.

Soon Oki's cries got the attention of doctors.

"Move him out, you over there hand me the ICD."

"It's my fault."

"Get him out!" The doctor screams

Nighteye rushes inside and drags Oki out.

"It will be alright Oki, everything will be fine alright" Nighteye tries to improve Oki's condition, but Oki doesn't show any change.

After few minutes, Oki could see through the glass door that the doctors have given up. Seeing this, Oki clutches his head and bangs it to the walls. Looking at this scene, even Nighteye feels sad. He was always looking at the always calm and clear-headed kid who turned into an unstable kid.

Nighteye knocks Oki unconscious when he saw the signs of Oki bleeding.

"I truly feel sorry for you Oki."

Soon the news was sent to Torino and All Might.

"I see, he thinks it's his fault." Torino was out of tears. His eyes were swollen due to hours of crying, but after hearing Oki's actions, he wanted to cry, but he couldn't.

"I truly am sorry young Oki, it's my fault if only... I had been able to do what I represent" All Might was broken too much on the inside that he took rest for the day, and it wasn't a peaceful one.

Melo's body was shifted to the mortuary back at the hospital, and the subsequent procedures were taken care of by Nighteye.

3 days pass by as Oki wakes up.

"It was a dream," Oki thought of moving away from reality though he knew it was true. "No damn it, it wasn't! I killed her! I- I did-"

"No, you didn't young Oki" All Might, who was there, could only say those words, he knew how it would be when someone so close to you dies, and Oki was still a child in front of him. ' He is doing better than me '

"Wake up kid, you have to move on. Though it wouldn't be easy... only you know what do next," Torino, who is behind All Might, speaks up.

Oki, who listens to them, calms down, but tears still flow down.

After 2 hours, Oki calms down. Nighteye comes in at this time to speak to Oki.

"Oki... the procedures for cremation are taken care of, though it should have been you we seeing your condition took it upon our hands." Nighteye paused and looked at Oki, who seemed lifeless. Oki looks at Nighteye for the completion, "We thought you would feel better if you travel around the world, but we can't let you so we chose to send you to I-island."

The room was silent. If silence had mass, it could be cut with a cake knife.

"I see... well, I have no choice anyway" Oki tries a warm smile, but due to his lifeless eyes and facial features, the warm smile of Oki could be clearly seen as Oki's distraction to keep his tears away.

Oki accepted the reality. Though he accepted it, it came with depression. Oki had no appetite, couldn't sleep, and became so weak due to a lack of sleep that he couldn't walk. This went on for three days straight until what could be said as Oki giving up the depression.

After 3 days of not eating and sleeping, Oki finally forced some food into his mouth and fell asleep.

Oki woke up in the void, which had some changes. The black was no more as there were golden sparkles here and there and blue auroras.

"Oki!? Is that you !?"

Hearing a familiar voice, Oki looked around but couldn't find the origin of the voice.

"Oki! "

A golden and blue aura seemed to be concentrated in front of Oki, and Oki saw a figure. A figure which is familiar to him.

"Sister Melo", Oki mutters, but the figure nods and hugs Oki.

Feeling a warm touch of Melo, Oki tries to cry, but he couldn't.

"Don't worry Oki, I know what happened. I know you saved m-"

"No, I killed you!" Oki tries to correct Melo.

"No! You saved me Oki and thank you for that."

"..."

"So you are from another earth just like ours but everyone over there are people with no quirks?"

Oki nods and returns to what Oki once was. Looking at the change, Melo smiles and both continue to talk.

While Oki was asleep.

"All Might! All Might!" Nighteye runs through the hallway and barges into Oki's resting room. "All Might! Thank god you are here!"

"Sushh! Oki just slept," All Might whispers. "What is it?"

"Velocity's will", Nighteye whispers.

"What does it say?" All Might curious about Yui's will asks.

"Oki "

"Oki?"

"Oki is the true grandson of Yui Tsukikage and Yami Takemikazuchi and all of their assets had been written to Oki."

"What?" Though All Might felt that Yami and Oki were related due to their last names, confirming it and feeling it were different.

" We will tell this to Oki tomorrow after he wakes up "All Might looks at the sleeping Oki. "Also I am gonna pass my quirk to Oki, I don't think there is anyone better than him. But... I think I will pass it after he reaches 14. I don't want to burden him with this power right now."

(A/N)- I cried when writing this chapter.

I know this wasn't a good one. I tried my best. If you want to berate MC, first imagine yourself in his place. ( I had seen 30-year men cry when they lost their families, don't give me some shitty back answers ) And ' Calm Mind ' is a skill, not something like a quirk or body upgrade. It only provides the MC with signs to calm down when needed and increases 5% of Brain activities.

I hope you look forward to the following chapters, and I ask you to please tell me the areas where I have to change things. I am a newbie, and I wouldn't like to be one.
