Chapter 101 : Yuta Vs Maki 2 (Bonus Chapter)
The spar between both Maki and Yuta was dragging on, neither was able to land a decisive blow at the other, most of the attacks were done by Maki thanks to her long range with her staff.
Yuta though was better at defence, mostly dodging the attacks thanks to his already borderline superhuman reaction time thanks to all the time he had to rely on it to protect his life, both before joining UA and after that.
And then there was his build, he could easily tank many attacks, just had to use an Iron body. Though he can't use many of the techniques from Six Style without OFA, Iron Body is different.
That technique and one another don't require OFA to use. Meaning he still does have some means to defend himself.
"What the hell, how is that muscular body moving like a flying leaf in the air? Just stand still for a second." Maki was getting irritated thanks to Yuta constantly blocking her attack with Iron body and mostly dodging her attacks with Paper body.
" What, too much for you Ms Zenin." Yuta taunted.
This immediately gets a rise out of the girl as she closes the gap towards him to go for an attack. Of course, Yuta was doing it intentionally.
Knowing that her range of attack with that staff would not gonna let him even get close to her, so he planned to play not only by body but also by wits.
He can't use many of his abilities so he has to play unfairly to some degree. Knowing Maki doesn't like her family was a good point to start.
He by now had so much experience fighting with people or just defending against those who were way too powerful than him that he knew which buttons to push to get people riled up.
For Maki Zenin, her last name is that button. That plus a lot of annoying jokes and taunts and constantly avoiding her attacks like it was nothing pushed her to make a mistake.
And that it did, Yuta after much time finally caught a proper opening in her stand.
And he was ready now, he dashed at her just when she was about to use her staff to attack him, dodging the attack by hair length.
Maki seeing this sudden move was first stunned and then realized Yuta was doing this intentionally. She quickly wanted to jump back but the punch coming at her was way too powerful for that.
She knowing this just gave up on dodging and bringing her hand in front of her to block.
Only for the punch to never actually come.
'Ah, works every time.' Yuta smirk.
He wasn't an idiot to throw an easy-to-block punch. That was just a decoy.
The moment the punch even connected to her arms which protected her face, obstructing her view, was the same movement Yuta changed the direction of his run, rather than punching, he used her stomach as a leaver and turned himself around behind her, and grabbed her slim waist.
Maki's eyes widened when she felt the grip on her waist, finally realizing that she had fallen for his trap.
But now it was too late, Yuta with all his power lifted the girl for one final 180 Judo Slam.

Maki felt a hit on her head before he let her go and she was left on the ground, panting for air and feeling the pain coming to her.
"That was my victory I'll say. Was harder to beat than I first anticipated. You are a good fighter honestly. Really skilled at handling weapons.
But not that great when it comes to handling emotions. Try not to get riled up next time, it's better an enemy doesn't use this against you." Yuta said as he extended his hand towards Maki who was looking at him in disbelief.
There was no expression on her face like she was still contemplating what just happened. But when things seemed to click inside her head, she gritted her teeth and spat away Yuta's hand to help her.
Getting up with ferocity, she just asked only one thing.
"Why didn't you use your curse technique."
The rules of the spar never stated that they can't use curse energy or Curse Technique.
Maki thanks to her not being able to sense curse energy, can't sense the lack of curse energy coming out of Yuta, unlike both Toge and Panda. So she anticipated quickly that Yuta would use his curse powers.
"Well, I can ask you the same. You didn't do it so I thought it's just normal sparing." Yuta reply.
This made both Toge and Panda confused again, 'Can he really use curse energy, if yes then why can't we sense anything ?' was there question.
This made Maki just purse her lips.
"Fight me again, this time with your curse energy," Maki said with determination burning in her eyes.
"Hmm, are you sure," Yuta asked as he saw the notification come just then.

Yuta just internally smirked before getting shouted at by Maki from the sideline.
"Stop talking and fight me," Maki said as she took the weapon in her hands and rushed at Yuta.
'Hmm, troublesome....
His eyes flash red for a second, activating Sharingan to see even the smallest of her mistakes, which were where plenty of thanks to her being this agitated.
With masterful movement, he used Paper Body to dodge the attack and then blocked movement by placing one of his legs between her predicted path, he made her tremble before grabbing her by the sweater and knocking her down.
"Stay down, you can't beat me like the way you are right now," Yuta said as he saw the girl looking at him in disbelief.
She knew that she attacked wrong in her anger at how the boy predicted what she was about to do? she was currently lying flat on the ground while looking wide eye at him.
"Ms Zenin I know I am handsome. But if you keep staring like this then I might blush."
