Chapter 12: Beach Day.

Today was a nice day, lots of sunshine, white clouds in the sky, warm breeze, no crazy person wanted to turn a city into a deserted wasteland full of mutant aberrations... all in all, a nice day.

They had decided (all the planning was done by Momo) to go to a public beach to have a good time. It was summer and there would be people there, but that wasn't a problem for them.

They could have chosen a private beach of the Yaoyorozu family, but it was not the same, a good beach chapter had to be in one that was public, or why would they bother so much to choose a good swimsuit?

When they arrived, they saw people having a good time, some playing volleyball, some swimming, some sunbathing on the sand, and some even preparing barbecues.

There were many different appearances, people of different skin colors, different looks and unique shapes, Emilia even noticed a certain grape-haired dwarf hanging around that made her cringe.

'Damn, that nasty guy is here, if he dares to bother me...' Just as she was thinking dark thoughts, someone hugged her from behind.

"Let's get dressed, Emilia!" cried Mina, who had pulled Emilia out of her earlier stupor.

"Oh, right. I'll show you what a beautiful body really is!" said Emilia in an arrogant tone, earning a boo from her friends.

They all went off to change, leaving Izuku with a pile of things he had to carry alone.

This isn't like the beach chapters in the novels and anime,' Izuku thought with some disappointment and carried everything he needed to an unoccupied area of the beach.

While he was preparing everything, he heard the sound of firecrackers behind him, sensing the danger, he let go of what he had in his hand, adjusted his breathing and quickly moved to the side.

He looked at his attacker, a boy with blond hair, red eyes and an angry expression on his face.

"DAMN IT DEKU! WHY DID YOU DEFUSE MY ATTACK?" the boy shouted, who was obviously Katsuki, Izuku's former friend.

"Then should I let myself be beaten by His Excellency Hero Number 1, Sir Explosion?" Although his question had a hint of mockery in it, his tone was serious and cold, his eyes looked at Katsuki not as a friend but as an enemy he had to defeat.

"SHUT UP, YOU USELESS IDIOT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THIS BEACH? THIS IS NO PLACE FOR YOUR KIND?" Katsuki's scream started to attract the attention of the people around them who were looking at the two of them.

Another time, Izuku would have answered, but not today, she didn't want to cause trouble for her friends and she didn't want to spoil this good day because of an idiot with a brain full of nitroglycerine.

"Katsuki, if you ever had a shred of decency in you, you will stop yelling and get away from me. You can't fight with your quirk because it's illegal and you know that without it, you're nothing but a punching bag," Izuku warned, who was completely covered in golden sparks with red tints.

Some people tried to argue that the Hamon was similar to a quirk and therefore its use should be forbidden when used in public, but obviously this stupid thinking didn't go very far when the creator herself said that it was only a technique that some gifted people could perform and that it was nowhere near as destructive as a quirk.

Groups of martial artists also joined in, claiming that they could not use true Hamon, but they had their own "superhuman" techniques and methods, so they did not want that limitation. Coupled with some support from some rich people we already know, that idea died there.

So Izuku could use his Hamon completely unrestricted, of course he couldn't fight in public because that would be a crime, but a demonstration of his abilities wasn't forbidden, which he had done before and was doing now.

Katsuki knew this and he was very angry about it. He glared at Izuku hatefully, but then he went away knowing that he couldn't do anything about it in this situation.

Sometime later, the girls found Izuku who had organized everything. Momo and Jiro wore one-piece swimsuits and used towels around their waists to cover themselves, Emilia wore a white two-piece swimsuit, Jin wore a sports top and shorts similar to the ones Izuku was wearing.

Mina also wore a blue swimsuit with some pink polka dots, but Izuku's eyes were always fixed on Uraraka, who wore a pink one-piece swimsuit that fit her quite well.

At that moment, Izuku understood the meaning of the word 'beautiful'.

"S-so how do I look?", Ochaco asked shyly. It was her own idea to expose herself like this because she wanted to show Izuku a little bit of herself.

"Beautiful..." murmured the boy, who made a gesture that every man has made before and put his arm awkwardly on his crotch in order not to show too much.

"Then it looks like we're going to have a good time!" shouted Mina, starting their day at the beach.
