The Magic Within Us II

The group of magic users brought Ava to a hidden location, a place where they could speak freely without fear of being overheard. They sat her down and began to explain everything.

Magic was real, they told her, and it had been passed down through their families for generations. But it was a dangerous gift, and those who possessed it had to keep it a secret from the rest of the world. They were hunted, feared, and persecuted, and they had to be careful at all times.

Ava listened in disbelief as they told her about the various factions within the magical community, each with their own agendas and motivations. She had never heard of anything like this before.

But as they spoke, something within her stirred. She remembered the feeling of power in her dreams, the way it had coursed through her veins, and she felt a sudden surge of excitement.

"So what do we do now?" she asked.

"We train," the tall man with blue eyes said. "We teach you how to use your magic, how to control it, how to protect yourself."

Over the next few weeks, Ava trained with the group, learning how to harness her power and use it to accomplish incredible feats. She learned to control the elements, to teleport, to read minds. It was like a dream come true.

But as she became more skilled, she also became more aware of the danger that surrounded her. There were people out there who wanted to hurt her and her fellow magic users, people who wanted to exploit their power for their own gain.

And then one day, the group received a message. Someone had discovered their secret. Someone was coming for them.
