The sea

Elsa knew something was wrong ,she knew her friends were up to no good but then again it was just a gutty feeling and she couldn't say it .Jade kept smiling at her as she conversed with Larry,her fiancee.There was a glint of evil up in her eyes everytime she looked at Elsa.

As always Winnie and June were gossiping about the guys the dated,the ones they met at work and the eligible bachelors who were billionaires that they had fantasized about . Jeremy who was the sleeping potato of the group, was probably sleeping while hiding his face behind the book he maybe read .

Elsa looked at the mass of water surrounded them as the yacht sailed.

"Jade,are you sure we are almost there,"Winnie asked in annoyance.

"Of course dimwit if you look ahead you will see the islands,"Jade answered while pointing ahead .

"But you have been saying that for the past thirty minutes and all I see is endless water,"Winnie complained as she pout.

"Winnie, trust me we are almost there ,"Jade assured her with a half smile.

"Babe you seem lost in thoughts I hope you ain't having second thoughts on coming for this trip,"Larry said as he handed Elsa a glass of what she assumed to be apple juice.

He sat next to her as he looked at her with affectionate eyes and rubbed her left hand .

"No babe am not having second thoughts,am actually grateful that you made me come for this trip I needed it ."

"It's actually my job to make sure you are alright and I am glad you don't have second thoughts cause this trip will be memorable.I always know what's good for you babe ,"Larry told Elsa.

He was right about that at least that's what Elsa thought . Elsa's friends had organized a yacht sail to some islands and Elsa was definitely not in the mood of going she hated the sea it made her feel sick .Her manager ,Lana Courts,had also told her to take her rehearsals seriously .Larry had convinced her to tag along and she could definitely not say no to him ,she loved him.

"lover birds we have arrived,"Winnie announced.

"Babe you should definitely carry your phone and camera ,"Larry advised Elsa as he helped her to stand while she only nodded in agreement.

"Can someone please wake this sleepy grandpa,"Jade said as she pointed at Jeremy who was fast asleep.

"wake up Jerry!"Winnie shouted at Jeremy while hitting him across the face continuous with a pillow.

"Damn it am awake but did you have to be violent woman ?"

They all laughed at the site of Jeremy chasing Winnie off the yacht.

Elsa sighed in satisfaction that was her family. Elsa had lost her parents when she was eight years old and her relatives quickly disposed her at the orphanage after they had taken all her inheritance. She grew up with lana and once she was done with acting school Lana became her manager. She clearly knew her relatives as they wouldn't let a single day go without them reminding her how pathetic her life was , Especially her cousin Riley Reynolds. She had taken her position as the CEO of her parents' company and made it her hobby to make Elsa's life pathetic. Larry had always been her pillar of strength especially after they got engaged.

Elsa looked at Jade in as she passed her a shot of tequila .

"Jade you clearly know I have low tolerance to alcohol,so no thanks ,"Elsa told Jade as she pushed the tot to her.

"oh c'mon El don't be a killjoy besides this is the one day we get to be super tipsy and nobody will ask ,just a shot ,"Jade pushed the tot closer to Elsa

"Okay just one."

"Good girl."
