Chapter Forty

The trip in the bus was another long journey and a silent ride. The boys were seated at the right side and the girls at the left side. The eight of them had just began a new phase of their lives, leading to either life or death.

" Welcome to Devon Island The True love lowland." Mitchell said reading the signboard aloud.

" There is no network here." Jason laments, swinging his phone in the air.

" Were you expecting signal? Did you build a mass here or did you see any traces or signs of a mass here?" Sharon asked him laughing at his squeezed face.

" It's just like saying welcome to desert or phantom zone. You have no means of survival!" Jason whines again looking at the tall trees by the road side.

" We do have one communication box given to us by the boss. We shall only contact him when it's urgent, I shall keep the box with me till then." Samael declares to them.

" How big or large is the communication box?" Mitchell asked.

" Its a size of a tool box. But don't worry if we go through the Manual well, we should be able to operate it."

" So do you mean no one among us knows how to operate that thing, and it's our only means of communication?"

Frederic asked Samael surprisedly.

" No I can operate it. But am referring to the rest of you."

" Then only you will do the calling. I mean why must we all know how to operate it, is not like we have an individual tool or communication box. It's just one so what is the use?" Frederic suggested and they all nods their head in agreement with him.

" Samael I think you should keep it and be available anytime we need to make calls." Aiden said supporting Frederic words.

" Where do I want to go? It's not like there is a French cuisine restaurant here or an Italian special." Samael responded and they all laughed at his words. " Where ever we go please let make sure we always move in group. No rescue team here,and even if there was, it will be like a mile away. So safety first people." He added.

" This place looks creepy like you said Sharon." Charlotte said looking at the huge and thick forests.

" Yes it is. Am having goosebumps already!" Sharon said rolling up her sleeves to show Charlotte her standing hair.

" We are going to be safe." Michelle smiled at them.

" Barrett are you still following the map?" Aiden asked the guy sitting at the driver seat.

" Yes! We are almost there,we should be there in less than ten minutes. So everyone prepare to come off and welcome to the fun house!" He said looking at the rear glass and laughing at the ladies reactions.

"It's fun to you?" Sharon and Charlotte asked at the same time.

" Yes! As far as we all make it fun to be here!"
