Mate to the Heartless Alpha

On a night so beautiful and calm, to the extent it was almost suspicious. A lady walked through a garden, it was called the garden of death due to the amount of bodies beneath it but all she could see was beauty and excellence. She was adorned in exquisite scarlet garment, embodying timeless elegance, she took slow steps as her mind was heavy with thoughts. 'The Red moon is coming soon' she thought and sighed. For others this was a time to rejoice, as the new Alpha would be crowned. Her mate would become ruler. She was to be brimming with excitement but her face was pale and she looked rather lost. Because for her this was the time she would be separated from her mate. She knew the ritual wouldn't be a success, she cursed the gods for giving her this power and the ability to see the future, which never failed to bring her sadness over and over. 'Lui Feng, I promise to return so please hold on', she thought tears filling her eyes. Lui Feng would do well without her, at least she hoped he would. He didn't. He grew colder and colder everyday after her death, much colder than he was before he met. Now she had been reincarnated, would she be able to melt his cold heart and face the many tribulations ahead as another moon wad coming? Happy Reading :) Disclaimer: I do not own the cover.

"It's called Red Moonlight's Reflection", the assistant stated which shook Lui Feng, he wanted to leave the dress due to the salesperson's words but he noticed she truly liked it and wanted it and he couldn't take that from her, why was the universe toying with him?

He just smiled and paid then left the store while she skipped happily behind him completely forgetting her initial plan. She looked really cute right now, he just brushed the thoughts in his head away, it could be a coincidence. Although in his world there wasn't any, in her world it existed and was a frequent occurrence.

An hour later they arrived back at Yu Yan's place, Ying Yue was moving out tomorrow and though he didn't want to part with her he had no choice.

He had so much on his plate and his father wasn't going easy on him, there was also Meili whom he had to deal with.

He was avoiding officially introducing Ying Yue as his mate. Though it wouldn't be so bad if it came to that, it'd still cause a lot of trouble for her, it felt like he was always walking in circles. Before his mind went into havoc as a deep line had already formed on his forehead and he was resting on his car lost in thought again, he felt a light brush on his arm.

He opened his eyes and noticed a pair of blue eyes staring at him with a sheepish grin on her face, he wanted to ask her what she was doing here, not that he didn't enjoy her presence when she finally spoke.

"T- Thank you", she said and he heard an angel-like voice, a smile slowly etched on his face but he didn't reply curious of how the girl would thank him, when he felt her arm wrap around him and she buried her face in the crook of his neck.

"Today was awesome", she said and his eyes widened, right now he knew it was purely Ying talking, how bold. She managed to pique his curiosity every time. He wanted to know more about her not because of the fact that she was Lady Li Jing but Ying Yue and he felt guilty for not wanting to do that sooner.

She walked towards the house slowly making him dread leaving and then she turned around smiled and waved at him, only then did he realize he looked like a lovestruck fool trying to imprint her every move in his mind, he was dazed for a while after she left then he got in his car and drove away.

On the drive back to the Lui mansion he sensed a presence following him, he knew exactly who it was that came to pester him but he wasn't in the mood to speak and continued driving and ignoring the personality hoping they would go away.

The person was persistent and soon he stopped the car at the entrance of the land the Lui family owned and got out, he didn't have to wait long when the person appeared into sight, the grey-eyed Blondie.

"Claude," he said in an irritated tone with a hint of resentment in his voice and the grey-eyed man smiled as if acknowledging the fact that he remembered his stage name. No one knew this man's real name not even the Lui family could find a whisper about it.

"How daring you've become", he said in an excited tone but one could clearly see that he was taunting him. How Feng wished he could tear this man's neck off. But the man always had something up his sleeve no matter how many times he had promised the man a quick and painless death, he always failed.

"My master will dispose of you if you get on his nerves", he stated as a matter of fact. Though Lui Feng didn't know who this man's master was, he knew he was powerful and on par with him if not stronger since he'd made his power known before.

Lui Feng just glared at him and walked towards his car and the man looked disappointed with his reaction as if expecting a fight, maybe some other time. He just disappeared into thin air after a few moments to report to his master.

"Tch! How annoying," Lui Feng said after leaving, great now he had some more trouble on his already filled plate. If they pushed him on edge he'd just get rid of all of them.

He realized how much more merciful he'd become. The old him would have torn Meili's head off the moment he knew what she was planning but somewhere at the back of his mind he always knew. But Li Jing held her dear without knowing what she was up to or rather he didn't know she knew, either way, she held Meili dear.

No matter what no one could ruin his plan not even his father. He drove back to the Lui mansion, he had a lot of things to sort out but he never thought he'd see him there.

"My, my, third you finally decided to come back", Lui Feng said in a taunting tone with clenched fists he was suppressing many emotions swirling within him, there was a look of longing in the third Lui son's eyes but it didn't seem like it was directed entirely to Lui Feng.

"I'm guessing you didn't miss me dear brother", despite being the youngest third was as fierce as Lui Feng and his blood was as pure as Lui Shui's and their resemblance was uncanny.

Lui Taio was the apple of his parents' eyes, he was as rebellious as the first two but was rather calm. Although he craved acceptance from his brothers and Lui Feng was happy to take him everywhere, but Lui Shui treated him as an intruder.

They cared for each other dearly even if they denied it countless times Lui Feng would just laugh it off saying they were being petty. Taio was the only brother who stuck to Lui Feng even after he was chosen but they both wanted the same thing and neither was willing to let go.

"Where is she?" Lui Taio said with a serious tone as his aura blazed with anger that his brother hid this from him, typical.
