She was utterly and completely dumbfounded just moments ago she was standing at the window lost in thoughts then he came out of nowhere hugged her and started spouting nonsense but he looked serious, he couldn't be, could he?
She rubbed her forehead there was nothing wrong with it, it was not like she had someone special in her life. But a relationship with her would surely make headlines giving Lui Feng unnecessary attention, she couldn't possibly date him, it just felt so enticing right yet so wrong.
It seems people were hell-bent on making her lose it today, first the strange man from her dreams, next the old lady from the store, and now it was Lui Feng.
"You're joking right?" She asked utterly shocked waiting for him to burst out laughing and say it was a prank but somewhere deep down she wanted it to be true.
"Fine, my actions will tell it instead", he replied, she didn't get why Lui Feng seemed to have had an attitude overhaul, something wasn't right here but she didn't want to ruin the moment by pestering him.
"Come let's go, I want to take you shopping today", he said pulling her towards him and taking her downstairs and she complied following him quietly.
He drove towards a large designer store and he dragged her in as fast as possible the excitement could be seen on his face but Ying Yue feared something was going on.
She couldn't understand why he was acting as if he had limited time to spend with her and these were their last days together.
She just sighed inwardly and followed him into the store. The interior was breathtaking, there were only a few people in the store and it was quiet, with their appearance you'd know they were of high class.
She wanted to hide, but she wasn't allowed to move as Lui Feng wrapped his arms tightly around her. She sighed inwardly and followed him wherever he took her.
Despite her nervousness, she couldn't help but be excited as she looked at all the elegant clothes around her from casual to majestic, and slowly she forgot all about her nervousness and her thoughts were on. what she would choose.
She looked like an excited puppy Lui Feng bit his lip to stop himself from laughing as he found this side of her to be cute, she completely dropped her defenses and the excited smile on her was breathtaking. He wished to be able to stare at it forever but that'd just be wishful thinking.
He had finally thought of how much time they had together and pulled his head out of the clouds and realized, the time was drawing near. He still had to tell her and hopefully, she wouldn't run away, he was planning to confess and just decided to give her a heads-up.
If he was going to get this reaction from her every time he took her out then he wouldn't mind being in public places every time, he wanted her to depend on him but he knew she was her own person and he would never want to change that.
"Where do you want to start", he asked and she frowned, she couldn't probably let him buy her something, she craved to be able to stand on her own but this man wouldn't let her it was so tempting to say yes and buy whatever she wanted but then she shook her head, this was way too wrong, he'd done so much for her she couldn't possibly take advantage.
Lui Feng frowned when he saw her brows furrowed lost in her own train of thoughts but realizing what she was thinking, he smirked.
"Don't feel guilty at all, after all, I'm just doing this to woo you, don't let my attempt go to waste", he said not hiding his intent, and whatever thoughts she had immediately vanished this man was just shameless, he had been acting coy this whole time!
Well if he was going to try to woo her she had better give him a hard time doing it, she chuckled at the thought of him getting irritated and trying to keep up, forgetting how powerful the man next to her was, it seemed she had gotten a tad too comfortable.
Lui Feng noticed the mischievous glimmer in her eyes and he was way more cunning than her, fine they'd just find out who would win this round.
They walked into the first store and Ying Yue claimed she didn't like any of the dresses there and this was the fifth store they were heading to now. He wanted to burst out laughing so many times when she had a look of longing in her eyes then she'd pout pretending as if she'd seen the ugliest dress that ever existed, fine since she wanted to have it that way, he'd leave her no choice.
They walked into store number five and without giving her a chance to speak he dragged her and looked for the best dress he could find and put her into the dressing room with it Ying just stomped and went in to wear it, whatever she'd just say she didn't like it.
She wore the dress and pursed her lips the dress looked so intricately made it was flawless and it was red, it had a red gem in the middle and it was off-shoulder and not too revealing but it was shorter than what she usually wore, she wanted to at least see how she looked with the dress before leaving.
She went out and walked slowly hoping Feng wouldn't see her while she had a peek at her dress but she was terribly wrong the moment she stepped out she met face to face with him and gave a shy smile, had he been waiting for her all this while?
She pretended not to notice him and walked towards the long mirror where she could see herself from head to toe, she walked towards the mirror and she was sure she couldn't recognize the girl she saw, she was brimming with so much fierceness and power were her eyes fooling her.
A red moon appeared behind her she looked around hoping to spot what she saw but there was no sign of it, she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her and she witnessed another scene, she was smiling and someone was hugging her, they were outside and it was dark with only the moon as their source of light.
"Beautiful", she suddenly heard a whisper in her ear.
"It really is", she replied subconsciously and her face a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
"I wasn't talking about the dress", he replied and she was sure her face was beet red right now. He really had a way of putting her mind into havoc. She decided to take the dress which made the assistant very happy, they walked towards the counter to make their payment.
"That's a really good choice ma'am it was made by a mystery designer", she said her smile not leaving her face and Ying Yue's brows furrowed. "It was named Red Moonlight's Reflection", she completed and Lui Feng almost coughed out blood!
