Ohayo, Author-san! While reading this marvellous piece of art, I happened to stumble upon your words of unjustified ignorant comments about your work. So I would like to leave a well-measured and objective, in my opinion(does that make it subjective?), review.
The writing quality of the fanfic is without a doubt of excellent quality, with simple mistakes from time to time: forgotten comas, mismatched names, etc. all bearable and mostly unnoticeable.
Your character seems interesting enough, though he always gives me vibes of some kind of perfect gentlemen, with his manner of speech. It’s undoubtably better than any isekaid Japanese MC, Chinese young masters, OP self-centered MCs, or edgy emo types. But at the same time, it’s quite difficult, at least for me, to fully connect myself to Evan and understand him.
The story, as of chapter 25, haven’t quite developed, but at least it shows promising progress. I gave it a four-star, because you spent unnecessary amount of chapters having MC uninvolved in anything really, but some long-ass dialogues, inner ramblings, and beautiful views.
That leads to one thing that I don’t quite like about the novel. The astonishing amount of description. While it is an eye-opener how a person can describe almost anything excessively - views, emotions, situations, facial expressions, moods, characters, events, surrounding, activities, etc.; when it isn’t used in moderation, it becomes a reading tongue-twister. I like it how you can come up with rare words, metaphors, epitomes and other literary techniques, make no mistakes about it. It is enlightening, but sometimes it gets in a way of good and entertaining reading. That is, for the most part.
Overall, this truly is an interesting novel with an intriguing idea, and masterful execution of it.
I hope my review would be helpful to you in some way or another, thank you for your hard work!
