Ch-5 Marking the Monster Part-3

(A/N: Sorry for the delay again, my friend is dead, I have homework, I am busy, I am having personal life problem Bla Bla Bla, non of the above thing happen I was just lazy and we have to re-write the story a bit, no we had to re-write all most every chapter that was written before because it was too dark and if you all god/goddesses want to read then we will upload it in the near future and this story is not going to be dropped, so again sorry and I know chapter quality is not good but it will get better. Here the first chapter of this week.)

Leo welling up, asks Carol, "Can I call you mother?"

Carol nods and opens her arms to hug him.

Leo hugs her immediately and feels a warmth in her embrace.

<One year later>

Another year pass,

Leo continues his training in martial arts, close combat, melee combat, but it does not mean that he can slack off the study. Carol makes sure of that.

He mainly focuses on quantum mechanics, the behavior of matter and light on the atomic and subatomic scale, biology, and biochemistry(Carol has twin doctorates in biology and biochemistry and is a world-renowned herpetologist), today he was practicing the krav maga with Carol.

"Today we are going to visit basic again, start with a cross punches.", as soon as Carol gives the command, Leo gets into position.

"Stand tall with your back straight, abs engaged, shoulders relaxed, arms at your sides, elbows bent and, feet spaced wider than your hips. Make fists with your hands and bring your hands up in front of your chin as if in defense.", Carol said and correct Leo's stand.

Leo "Aren't today we supposed to go to a lab for my Empathy test?"

As Leo grows, his power also grows with him. One year ago, he acquires Empathy power, for now, he could only feel another person feeling but, if his empathy power becomes incredibly strong, then he can enable to control, manipulate and alter the feelings, sensations, and emotions of others.

Carol "No, that for the evening, for now, we will focus on this, now give me fifty sets of cross punches."

Leo continues his training until the afternoon, soon it will be lunchtime, so he decides to call 'Gia the fluffy' (A/N: It is the name of mama bear her children names are Rim, Ram, and Roy) and her children the three Rs for the meal.

<Inside the forest>

Leo finds the tracks of Gia leading into the forest. Leo starts worrying as it is open season for hunting, and Gia could be in danger if a hunter found her.

BANG BANG BANG

Leo hears the gunshots and starts running in the direction of the gunshots.

As Leo reaches there and sees the scenario, he is suddenly filled with rage and, his claws come out.

<Scene Break>

Alex was a hunter. All his he has been a hunter. His father and grandfather were both hunters and were quite good at that. Alex lived in a small town.

From childhood, Alex had a friend Max who was his best friend. They used to go hunting together. One day Alex meets Mary at a church. She was a nice Catholic girl. Alex asks her out for a date which she agrees for much to Alex's surprise. They start dating after that. Alex introduces Mary to Max and, they become good friends. Due to some misunderstanding, Alex and Mary break up, and after some time, Alex finds out that Max was dating Mary and he was the one who created the misunderstanding between him and Mary, which lead to their break up. But he was too late as Max and Mary got married. Despite showing no remorse, Alex is highly enraged and makes a plan to kill Max. So he plans a hunting trip with Max in an illegal part of the forest where he would kill Max and then blame it on a bear.

On the hunting trip, Alex and Max kill a bear and her three cubs. As Max was checking the bear and her cubs, Alex stood up and was about to shoot Max. Suddenly he saw a kid with messy black hair staring at them with something in his hands.

Before Alex could say anything, the kid came running at an unbelievable speed and stabbed Alex in the legs with claws coming out of his hands.

Alex screams in pain as the kid stabs him in the leg.

Hearing his screams, Max turns around to see Alex, and suddenly he sees a kid with claws coming out of his hand and with Alex's blood on his hands. Before Max could say anything, the kid started stabbing and cutting him. And in a few seconds, the kid ripped up Max in pieces and killed him.

Alex saw this whole incident with his eyes and was horrified to see a kid kill Max with such ferocity.

Then Alex saw that the kid was walking towards him. He immediately looked for his shotgun. It was lying near him on the ground. He took the gun and pointed it towards Leo.

"Don't come near me," Alex said in a trembling voice.

But the kid kept advancing towards him.

When the kid reached near him, Alex again threatened him, "Stay away, or I will shoot you."

But the boy did not listen and, he kept walking towards Alex.

So with no choice, Alex shot the boy in the face with his shotgun.

Because of the shot, the boy fell to the ground.

Alex sighed with relief and, he started to limp and walk out of the jungle towards his car.

Suddenly Alex heard something behind him.

Alex turned around with the support of the tree and saw the boy standing up.

Horrified by this, Alex saw the boy's face. His face was completely messed up, due to the shot he fired. One side of his face was without any skin and, some of the other parts were also burned out. Alex could see his skull. Suddenly skin started forming on the boy's face. Alex was shocked and terrified to see this.

Within a few moments, he saw that the boy's face had restored to what it looked like before.

He saw that the boy's eyes filled with rage. Seeing this, he again pointed his gun at the boy. But before he could do anything, the boy came running towards him and, with one stroke of his claws, he broke the shotgun into two pieces. Horrified by this, Alex stumbled backward and, then he saw the boy leaping towards him with his claws out and, Alex screamed, "Monster."

<Scene Break>

Leo stood up after killing the hunter that shot him.

He had brutally killed the man without any second thought.

Leo was not feeling any guilt or remorse after killing both the hunters.

Leo then ran towards Gia and her cubs. He reached down to the bear and checked her and her cubs' heartbeat.

There was no heartbeat, the cubs and their mother all were dead.

A flow of emotion began building up inside Leo and tears came into his eyes.

With this, Leo goes home.

Carol was waiting for Leo to come back and was worried about where he went.

Moments later, she sees Leo coming out of the jungle. She saw that his hands were bloodened and he was visibly sad.

Carol runs towards Leo and asks him "Leo, what happened? What is with all the blood? Are you all right? "

As Carol is asking all these questions, Leo starts crying and hugs her, and narrates the entire incident of what happened in the jungle.

After narrating the entire incident, Leo tells Carol, "I do not regret or feel guilty about killing those horrible humans but, I feel sad and guilty that I was not able to save or do anything for Gia and her cubs."

Hearing this, Carol hugs Leo and says, "It's okay son, you did what you could." But she was worried that Leo was becoming the monster was trying not to make him.

(A/N: I was watching Lion King yesterday night and the horror, there is incest in there, I mean if Mufasa and Scar are the only male lions in the pride wouldn't Simba and Nala be a first cousin or half-sibling.

Anyway in the next chapter will be about Carol backstory and thank you for reading.)
