Marvel: Starting from the Bottom

"Transmigration." Ah, such an interesting concept. Many dream about being reborn in a world filled with heroes and villains. But not me... Thrown into a world where Gods walk among mortals, I will do everything in my power to survive. Stealing, robbing, killing, manipulating? I will do them all. I will be the one to survive until the end. Heros, Villains, Eternals, Deviants, Gods, Demons... SCREW THEM ALL!!! This is my story and I will make sure that everyone gets that right! I am Marcellus, a mutant who started from the bottom. [Pat reon.com/Greedyfrog] [Disclaimer: Other than my MC and the OCs, I do not own anything used in this fanfiction.]

Become My Champion

You would expect the cosmos to look like a calm sea with countless shining pearls floating on its surface.

In a metaphorical way, "A place of peace which helps you to relax and understand things better than ever."

That's not what was in front of me. The place where I was in, was a garden. A garden filled with countless flowers… Each flower was of a different design and color.

"Beautiful isn't it?" The gentle voice of the woman gave me a sense of relief, calmness, and comfort. Why? I don't know.

"I never expected the multiverse to look like a garden." The woman giggled.

"We can make it appear as we like. It depends on our wishes and imagination."

"True. For beings such as you, such a thing is simpler than a walk in the park." She was beautiful… beautiful beyond belief, with golden hair... Yes, golden and not blonde, crimson eyes, and a serene aura around her.

Overall, she looked like a goddess of beauty.

She smirked. "Thank you for the compliment."

My eyes went wide for a moment before a chuckle escaped. "Of course you can read my thoughts." My expression soon turned serious. "But I still have no idea as to why a Cosmic Entity brought me here… you definitely didn't bring me here to kill… did you?"

All I remember is going to bed after returning from Sebastian's mansion… and waking up here.

She laughed at my fake look of trepidation. By no means was I scared, and she knew it.

"Of course, I didn't." She looked at me with a slight frown. "But others might."

"What does tha-"

"You are an anomaly." I chuckled at the statement.

"I get that a lot." Her deep red eyes bore into my emerald ones.

"That's not what I meant." She said as she waved her hand… making every flower bud within the garden to bloom.

"Do you know about the multiverse?" She asked, curiosity visible on her face.

"It is said that the multiverse is made of countless universes. Some are big, some are small, some of those universes are the same as our own while the rest are completely different." Despite her being countless years older than me, she had a childish smile on her face. "Sort of like a floral garden. A single flower cannot make a garden, but with enough flowers of various species… we consider the place to be a flower garden."

She smiled at first but then sighed. "How are you alive?"

Huh?

"What do you mean?" How am I alive? I never die- wait!

"I have the authority to interfere in this multiverse. There are countless universes within this multiverse and countless versions of the same person inside of it. Each universe contains a version that is quite different from the other, very rarely they are similar." She looked at me. "You… are an anomaly… you are a weird one."

I remained silent.

"In each universe, in each timeline… there's a different version of you that lives." I already knew that. And she smiled at that. "You already knew huh? Humans are truly fascinating."

It is nigh-impossible to control one's thoughts, at one point or another… that thought is bound to appear.

She kept smiling at me. "True." But her smile changed into a frown quite soon. "Do you know that the 'fate' of each version is almost entirely different from the other?"

I nodded.

"Yours isn't."

"..." Wait, what?

"In each timeline of each universe, you die before turning twenty." My eyes widened.

"But that's… impossible." I have never heard of this before, not even in the comics.

"Everyone should be able to die a natural death at an old age in at least a few hundred timelines." Her eyes were curious. "But other than the version of you that is here… none of them survived."

That literally doesn't make any sense.

"It truly doesn't." The multiverse is nearly endless and for me to die in every timeline, that just doesn't make any sense.

"You survived somehow. I don't know how, but you did. And that is quite interesting." Ah, of course... Interest. That's the factor that makes the planets revolve.

"Indeed it does." She looked at the endless floral garden. "And that's what is going to risk your life."

"I… don't get it."

"Other Celestial Entities, Cosmic Beings… some of the multiversal beings have you on their radar."

My breathing sped up. This is one of the only few things that I have been scared about, after coming to this world. Being on the radar of them is extremely scary.

"Eon doesn't care much about you. He is engrossed in some other plan… but the others are different. Especially Oblivion and Death." Two of the beings that I wanted to stay away from at any cost. "Oblivion thinks of you as a good research subject." Just what I wanted to be. "He won't do anything to you, he will just observe. I can say that for sure."

That is scary but as long as he doesn't directly interfere, it's alright… to some extent.

"But my sister… Death is different. She is getting obsessed with you."

I looked at her. "I am fucked… aren't I." She giggled.

"Yes, you are." Death is a being who toyed with Thanos in the comics… The same Thanos who erased half of the universe as a gift for her. In the comics, she was portrayed as a bitch.

"But since you are the 'only' version that survived. The council has decided to monitor you instead of killing the only version of you that is alive." The council… meaning the group of Cosmic and Abstract Beings.

But… There is something that I noticed during our conversation.

'Marvel Comics.'

I looked at her and she didn't make much of a reaction. As I suspected… Something prevents them from hearing about Marvel and anything related to it. She didn't hear my thoughts… which involved the word 'comics' in it.

So anything that can hint towards Marvel is inaudible to her.

"If you try to go against them, you will die."

"I will be foolish to go against beings that can destroy universes when they are bored." She giggled.

Despite it not being her true form, the form she took was extremely beautiful.

"My sister Death… will cause troubles for you. She finds you interesting… She thinks of you as an interesting toy. So, she wants to kill you." She smiled. "You know why she wants to kill you, right?"

"*Sigh* Afterlife is her domain. So, my soul will be her toy after my death." Which I will very much like to avoid.

"There is a way to stay away from her." This got my full attention.

"Really?" She smiled and nodded. "What is it?" I asked.

She looked at me with a smirk. "Become my Champion."

"What?!?!"

And that was the second time in my life that I was shocked beyond belief… The day when I was asked to become the Champion of the Abstract Being… 'Infinity.'

[A/N: This is the last power that he will receive before Sentry Serum. He will not get anymore power-ups before he can master his current ones. I don't want a jack of all trades yet master of none type of MC.

Fun Facts:

•In the comics, Deadpool have multiple coloured boxes that describe each one of the voices that are there in his head. Like yellow box dialogues for his funny self, White box for his true self and red one... well next fact!

•The Red Box was the evil psychotic personality that made him kill the entire Marvel-verse. He went through multiple timelines killing all the beings... heroes and villains alike. Hell, he even killed the creators of marvel and also the ones that were used as inspirations for the characters. Like the Little Mermaid who was used to as an inspiration for Namor, killing the headless horseman who was used as an inspiration for Ghost Rider and he even killed the Three Musketeers... Which killed the term 'teamwork' within the marvel-verse.

Yeah, deadpool have done some crazy shit.

•Want to know what actually drove him to such a point? No, it was not the experiment that was conducted on him. It was the 4-Wall that broke his mind and made him kill everyone and everything... So that he can finally be free and die in peace and not remain as a comic book character having to go through countless deaths and revivals.

By the way... I am going to make a Vampire Diaries/Originals fic later on.
