Flint

It's been some time after the hidden deal between Vali and the professor went down. During this time Charles had arranged for Vali to stay in the school until either they had located magneto or magneto came to them.

At first the kids were a little wary of him as he didn't look all that friendly, in fact he looked a little more on the stern side with his natural poker face that seemed unapproachable at first but he was actually a pretty easygoing person.

After Charles had introduced him most of the kids put their guards down, a few brave and outgoing ones even approached him and started asking him questions, they even started to drag him around the school.

He had to admit, it was pretty tiring dealing with kids but it was also quite enjoyable. Maybe it was because he never really had a childhood in either lives but hanging out with the kids seemed to bring him joy that he's never felt before.

Most of the time he was living in the school he spent it outside with the kids who had lots of free time after they finished their classes.

Fortunately Vali was great with kids and had lots of energy as well or else he might have burned himself out just in the first day of him being here as he had become very popular with the younger and older kids alike.

They constantly had him running around playing games like hide and seek or tag and it was by no means easy playing with mutant children who had a wide range of powers that gave some of them huge advantages in some games than others.

If it were the past him, he would never be able to keep up with the kids. Even with his powers now, he was constantly surprised by some ways the kids managed to temporarily slip away or hide from him.

One kid with a pretty dangerous ability of blowing up nearby air molecules even tactfully evaded him with ingenious ways of using his powers, fortunately he doesn't use it on other kids and only accidentally fired one at Vali due to anxiousness.

The explosion kids name was Flint, his parents abandoned him to an orphanage for unknown reasons, it definitely wasn't due to his mutant powers awakening though as he was normal when they dropped him off.

His x gene was unlocked at the age of six but was only picked up by the school at the age of 7 when he unintentionally blew off the arm of a caretaker in the orphanage because he threw a tantrum over a toy.

He was lucky he didn't end up killing the caretaker but after that incident he couldn't allow himself to be negligent with his powers especially around the other kids and with this mentality, he matured a bit faster than others his age.

Powers... sometimes they could be a huge burden. Fortunately with the adults he could be a little more careless and act more his age but even then he would still need to be careful not to harm himself with his own explosions.

Vali had gotten especially close to Flint, to him Flint was basically the younger brother he never had. He treated Flint like family and would often give him some ideas on how to harness his powers to do some good rather than harm.

Of course, Vali's way of teaching him was quite unique as he had his on views on what was good or bad so one could say his teachings were a little opinionated... ok maybe it was completely opinionated but that didn't matter to him, he wanted Flint to survive in this world not die stupidly.

At first Flint was a little unsure about Vali's teachings as they were completely different from what the teachers in the schools had taught him about the responsibilities of being a mutant and how he shouldn't use his powers to ever kill or harm others.

On the other hand, Vali's teachings were the complete opposite and said that his powers should be used constantly to better control it to avoid undesirable outcomes when he wants something.

He basicly just told Flint to disregard everything the teachers here had taught him and regarded them as idiots who don't know crap about about how society and the world works.

To him, if you wanted something you needed to have the power to get it and people only respect and listen to the powerful. He shouldn't have to worry about how others perceived him because only he knew who he truly was.

He was by no means telling Flint to cause unnecessary harm or damage or telling him how he should live his life. He only stated the cold had facts about society. How Flint would develop from this were none of his concern.

If he wanted to be a good samaritan then let him be one, if he started using some unscrupulous means to get what he wants he'll let him.

The only path he wouldn't accept for Flint was him becoming a complete maniac and start harming people left and right but he was confident this would never happen as long as he was there to keep him away from this path.

On the other hand, he had also met a lot more of the authority personnel of the school like Logan otherwise known as the Wolverine who had just gotten back from a mission to rescue a couple of mutant children from a research facility experimenting on mutants.

He came back with Scott Summers and Kitty pride who had also gone on the mission. Kitty being the scout, Logan as the leader and tactician and lastly Scott as the powerhouse that destroyed the facility.

Vali had to admit, they were actually a pretty good combination for a mission like this. Anyway, apparently Logan and Vali did not get along well at all but the funny thing was that they were pretty similar to each other.

They were actually teased a lot about it by Rogue who had also just recently came back from a long distance mission but no one knows a thing about it as she didn't talk about it.

Apparently Rogue wasn't the only one teasing them about it, there were plenty of others who found out about Vali's and Logan's relationship and also started teasing them about it.

Other than that nothing else really happened during Vali's stay at the the school. Now he's just relaxing until the day of reckoning happened, when he could get another loyal soldier.

Mentioning his loyal soldiers, Vali's also been constantly monitoring general Ross closely. Everyday he would get an update on Rosses comings and goings from his first shadow in this world.

Nothing was really out of the ordinary until today when he got a piece of irritating information from his shadow, Hulk v2. This was the name Vali had given to him but he was too lazy to give a good name so he went with something simple.

Anyway he was angry. So incredibly angry when he heard about a certain project Ross was starting and the worst part about this project? It was influenced by his appearance.

"Looks like the red hulk won't be coming into existence anymore. I should've just killed him if I knew he wasn't going to to become the red hulk anymore, dammit!"

"Does he actually think I'm a fucking mutant? Now he's going around collecting mutants to experiment on, laughable! Hah... well no use crying over spilt milk." Vali angrily cursed.

After letting out all his anger, Vali had a cold gleam in his eyes as he let out a cool breath of cold air before whispering underneath his breath, "kill him! And bring back all the mutants you see back here!"

Saying that, Vali got up off his bed and headed out. He was going to meet Charles, he needed to tell him about the group of mutants coming here later and that he needs to prepare and accommodate for them.

Charles was surprised by Vali's sudden request, he was sure Vali had never stepped out of the school today so how in the world did he know about a group of mutants coming here? Did it have something to do with is powers?

Anyway it wasn't anything too difficult and Charles would help regardless even without Vali asking. More mutants meant more power and he needed power to protect all the mutants here from harm so he agreed instantly.

Vali had finished what he wanted to do so he was about to get back to his room but immediately he felt something wrong, it was his mana, although it wasn't much, it dropped.

"Hmm? He's been killed? How?" Vali mumbled in confusion.

Charles noticed Vali's weird behavior and asked, "what's wrong?"

Vali didn't pay any mind to him and just plainly replied, "oh, its nothing, there's been some complications, I'll be gone for a while."

After he said that Vali vanished causing Charles to frown but it was immediately replaced with surprise and a little bit of fear when he saw what happened next.

Where Vali was previously been standing before a huge dark figure took his place. It was a ten foot giant with ghastly green eyes that stared him down with no emotions at all.

After a long silence in the room and the sounds of Charles repeatedly gulping down a mouthful of saliva the giant finally moved to a sofa on the side and tried to sit down only to complete crush the sofa but it didn't mind it and sat there while balling up.

Charles was nervous when the giant moved and was about to call for help but when he saw it move towards the sofa his eyes closely followed and when he was finally reassured that the giant meant no harm, he calmed down a little.

"It must be a part of mr. Ferguson's powers?" Charles question himself.

"C... can you talk?" Charles worked up the courage to ask only to be completely ignored by hulk v2.

Although Charles was fine with it now a couple of mutant teens who came into his office just a couple minutes later were completely scarred stiff and backed away from the door slowly before they ran away in complete fear.

"Hah... weak." Charles smirked seeing that he handled it better than others.

For some reason when hulk v2 heard this, it turned its head towards Charles and said in a growling voice, "no! You weak!"
