Ultron saga I

"Please bring her back." Banner said with a pleading expression, while Duke cast a sideway glance and slowly nodded expressionlessly. He touched a button on his nape, and instantly, his cowl covered his head.

He then took a deep breath and readied himself, while continuously circulating the Speed Force energy within his body. The next moment, his yellow streaks on the suit lit up, while he began to gather momentum. Instantly, multiple thick lightning streaks appeared in the surroundings due to the friction caused by the vibration of air molecules which was due to him gathering momentum.

"Boom!" A sonic boom set off, as Duke blasted off at hypersonic speeds accompanied by jolts of golden blue lightning which continually flashed across his body.

"Thud!" Stark in his iron suit landed in an old abandoned church, where his sensors had picked up Ultron's signature.

He fearlessly but cautiously examined the inside of the church while walking around,however, his eyebrows scrunched together in a bit of surprise.

"What the hell is this?" He saw a round machine embedded in the center of the building with a long cylindrical part sticking out in the middle.

"It's the salvation of this planet." A hoarse voice sounded out, as Ultron walked out of the shadows, looking even bigger than before. " Uhh you been working out? You look really juiced up." Stark chuckled, while Ultron ignored him and walked forward, before placing his hand on the cylindrical bar in the middle and pressed a button on it.

The bar opened up and formed a triangular layer on the floor as another bar arose from the middle.

"Sir, There's the rest of the vibranium." Tony's AI said as he frowned. "This marks the end of your world and the beginning of mine." Ultron said with a small smirk, and instantly several hundreds upon hundreds of robots were crawling into the city, causing havoc and destruction. The members of the Avengers were doing their best to evacuate the city, while protecting the people from the robots.

"Go! Go!" Cap was roaring on top of his lungs, as he directed multiple citizens away from the battlefield. Suddenly multiple robots began to close in on his position which caused him to squint his eyes in annoyance.

Tightly holding unto his shield he flipped his body and hurled it with massive force, as it spun in the air, before smashing into one robot and bouncing off it to another, and returned to him.

Within the church, Ultron sent both Stark and vision flying with a punch and an energy blast respectively, before walking to his machine.

"You take away my vision, I'll take away your world." He then grabbed the metal bar and turned to the left. "Boom!!" Suddenly, cracks began to appear on the floor, along the border of the city.

Soon, the city was became isolated from the country and slowly began to levitate in the sky, as the citizens shrieked and screamed in terror.

"Friday?" Stark spoke to his AI. "Sokovia is going for a ride." The AI replied.

"You rise, only to fall. You Avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure....." Ultron have his grand speech, as he levitated in the sky. All of his minions were transmitting the message at the same time, as the Avengers looked on with frowns on their faces, wondering how they were going to stop this....

"Boom!" A figure in a sleek red suit appeared before an abandoned castle like a lightning bolt and retracted his cowl.

Seeing the city been isolated and levitating into the sky, he rubbed his temples in annoyance and entered the old castle with a small frown and weary eyes.

Duke walked forward for a few meters before he heard a couple of sounds coming from the second floor. He instantly zoomed up the stairs and appeared in a split second accompanied by lightning as his eyes scanned around. He frowned when he saw the disembodied parts lying frivolously on the floor and followed the trail of blood till he entered another room.

Instantly, his heart calmed when he saw Nat sitting within a small cell wit a frown on her face. He immediately appeared before the cell in a bolt of lightning.

"Hey." He called out to Nat who cautiously turned around and looked at him with a frown.

"Are you okay?" Duke asked and heaved a sigh as he watched her immensely stunned expression, as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing right now.

"Y-You're back?" She extended her hand through the gaps between the jail bars wanting to touch him. Duke smiled and grasped her hand which made her heave a huge sigh as tears flooded her eyes.

"Let's get you out of here first." He gestured for her to move away from the bars, after which he grabbed them and began to vibrate his arms at super speed.

"Bang!" The bars were instantly pulled apart, and Duke stretched his hand which she grasped and walked out. "How could you just run into a black hole? Are you crazy?" She immediately embraced him as Duke widened his eyes in surprise, and soon embraced her back and patted her gently.

"Hahahaha! I've been waiting for you!" Suddenly, they were about to leave when a figure appeared before them in a blur. The figure clad in a scary looking robotic suit with a bluish gem embedded on its chest spoke in a hoarse voice, and glared at Duke.

"We can take him together." Nat readied herself for battle as Duke shook his head and smiled, before his cowl formed on his head.

"No need, I'll handle this. Go." Duke examined Savitar with a smile, before saying.

"Are you sure?" Nat asked with a frown. "Mmhmm. Now go." Duke nodded and instructed. "If you die again, I'll kill you myself." She gave him a murderous glare, before she left with a sprint.

"I'm disappointed. The Speed Force chose a child to become its avatar. What does a child know about wielding such immense power!" Savitar roared as Duke remained silent. 'The Space Infinity stone?' He glared at the blue gem on Savitar's chest before realization struck him.

"Now I'm going to rip out the Speed Force energy within your body and siphon it's power within your cells for all eternity!" Savitar continued to speak, while Duke clenched his fists and readied himself. He was not one to give stupid monologues before a fight.

The outcome of the battle would decide who was the better fighter. That was his motto. Savitar after his monologue clenched his fists, as a blade materialized, before he zoomed towards Duke with his fists clocked and ready to inflict some pain.

Duke immediately sped up his perception, and the next moment, Savitar who was moving at super sonic speeds looked as slow as a snail before his eyes.

With an expressionless face, he took a step forward, as lightning birthed across his body, as he blasted off, leaving multiple sonic booms. He reached Savitar in a split second, grabbed him by the head and blasted out off the old castle at hypersonic speed.
