"Shrlck!" "Schlrk!"

The sounds of a sharp metal ripping through flesh and blood resounded through the area, as Duke fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood. His eyes were half opened, and every breath was accompanied by immense pain due to the blade puncturing holes in his lungs.

All in all, our protagonist was on his way to meet lady death herself. Blood poured out immensely out of his mouth and nose.

'Is this it?' His consciousness spoke as he slipped into the cold embrace of death.

'Is this how it ends; dying to some nobody with a magic stone?' Although the embers of death felt cozy and cool, he felt uncomfortable being there due to losing to some nobody.

"Once again I win. Not only am I going to take this planet after this, I'm going to kill every single person you knew including those idiots in costumes, and as for that woman, I'm going to make her a slave, a tool to relieve myself whenever I want! You've lost this war boy!!" Savitar knelt before Duke and pierced two blades into his body.

One into his heart, the other into his neck.

At that point, his body felt a numbness and a cold sensation completely overshadow him.

'It really is the end...." He slowly felt his soul drown in the abyss of despair and senescence, and moments later he closed his eyes, slowly losing consciousness.

'This isn't the end...I can't go." After what felt like an eternity, his consciousness still spoke still hanging on a fragile thread of hope.

'There has to be a way..there has to be.." Death's claws were outstretched and ready to accept and assimilate the poor soul into its domain, however, it stubbornly refused to tread the long road to non existence.

'Speed....Speed Force....' Suddenly, as if a spark had been lighted, the voice of his consciousness emerged even louder....

The Speed Force dark matter in his dead cells began to circulate on its own and suddenly like a miracle, a bolt of lightning was birthed in his blood vessels like a pulse. It instantly began to creep towards his heart and his organs.....

"Hahahaha!" In the real world, Savitar laughed like a mad man seeing Duke take his final breath. "I love it when a plan comes to fruition." He spoke, before the lights on his robotic suit died down. A moment later, the suit opened up, as he walked out with his flowing white hair.

"I can finally fulfill my lifelong dream, and become the true God of Speed!" He reached with his hand to grasp Duke's body, however within a split second, a hand grabbed unto his neck with massive force.

"What?!!!" Savitar roared out, his eyes brimming with fear and shock seeing the pair of lightning filled eyes glaring into his soul.

Within a split second, a massive force unlike anything he had ever felt before smashed into him. His body bent into a c shape and blood spurted out of his mouth. Instantly, he was hurled like a meteor through multiple buildings with massive speeds.

"Ughhh!" Sprawled on the floor, Savitar spat out blood, and raised his head only to see a massive lightning bolt smashing into his body once more at incredible speeds.

He was once more hurled through another several structures and sent flying. A few moments later, he lied on the ground completely battered and bloody and raised his head to see a figure standing in front of him with a wide bloody smile on his face.

The figure who was in a bloodied red suit stood with his cowl retracted with his silver hair dyed in his own blood and eyes filled with immense lightning energy glared at him.

"How...are you ....still...alive?" Savitar raised his head to look at Duke who had made a comeback from death and was right now standing before him with a murderous smile.

Duke didn't bother speaking, he moved at hyper speed, grabbing a thick metal rod from a building close by and appeared once more before Savitar.

"You....what do you want to do?!" Seeing the cruel expression on Duke's face and the object in his hand, Savitar tried crawling away, however he screamed out instantly as he felt a long rod sticking out of both his left and right shoulders.

Duke walked forward with a sadistic grin towards Savitar who was now screaming in pain with blood all over his body.

"Arghh!" He grabbed him by the legs and ripped his right leg off, causing the God of Speed to scream out in pain and horror. "No...stop..please." Savitar tried to crawl away once more as he saw Duke twirl his leg like a toy with a smile before tossing it away like trash.

Duke walked towards him once more, grabbed his left arm and ripped it off, followed by his left arm, and his left leg. Savitar's pupils dilated due to the immense pain and he couldn't even scream because his mouth was filled with blood.

"Do you want to know how I'm still alive?" Satisfied with his work, Duke sat on a nearby rock and wiped the blood off his mouth and nose before monologuing with his eyes glued to Savitar who seemed to have lost a reason for living.

"I didn't think you'd pose much of a challenge to me, but I almost died fighting you...how interesting." He continued.

"On the brink of death, I forced the last bits of my consciousness to feeding my almost dead cells with an extreme amount of energy from the Speed force ..." Duke sighed and walked to Savitar, before grabbing him by the hair and lifting up his body.

"I have you to thank, and for that you deserve a glorious death..." Duke smiled murderously and hurled his body into the sky like a basketball. With his perception sped up, lightning bloomed all over his body, before he blasted off grabbed multiple iron rods from buildings and lined them up.

Savitar's body was suspended in the sky, as Duke grabbed one iron rod, run atop the side of the room they were in and pierced it through Savitar's chest like a javelin, all the way to the ground.

Repeating the same process, the pierced through his abdomen multiple times and and his chest multiple times sparing his heart so he won't have to die easily.

From afar one could see a mutilated body suspended in the air and supported by multiple iron rods with one end of the rods inside of the body, and the other embedded in the ground.

"You!....the ...mad...titan...he's going to...come for...your world...." Blood burst out of Savitar's mouth along with the pores of his skin, with every breath he took bringing him immense and immeasurable pain.

A few moments later, the God of Speed took his final breath as Duke nodded and zoomed out of the building at supersonic speed.
