Chapter - 19: Guiding Tony to become Iron Man
In collaboration with Raza, Obadiah Stane firmly believes that Tony and others have perished, but now they are returning to the USA, which is truly astonishing.
At the same time, Obadiah experienced a surge of anger and couldn't help but sneer inwardly when he realized there was no turning back after attempting to deal with Tony and Adrian.
Next, Obadiah resolved that he would take it if he ever got another chance. He would relentlessly pursue his agenda to eliminate Tony. While Adrian was an unexpected nuisance, Obadiah considered him secondary and not worth his concern compared to Tony, who was the primary obstacle to his plans.
Obadiah never imagined that his plan to eliminate Tony would fail dramatically as Tony emerged unharmed. Even Adrian, whom he had underestimated, played a significant part in preventing the attack.

"How do I explain? Umm… you could say I'm a bit of a mutant" Adrian shrugged, responding to Tony.
"Is it really some kind of a mutation?! Come on, we need to get to the lab. I want to check your physical condition," Tony's eyes lit up with excitement. He moved closer to Adrian, ready to drag him to his private research room for some tests.
"Sure, let's go. I'm also curious to check what the exact changes happened to my body."
Adrian did not hesitate and followed Tony to the lab in his seaside villa. This lab is one of Tony's most secure and restricted areas, designed to keep out all unauthorized access.
The security of this place is exceptionally tight; without Tony's authorization, no one can gain entry.
When Tony arrived at the lab, he acted quickly. He gathered his equipment, conducted a thorough physical examination of Adrian, and collected blood samples to which Adrian fully cooperated. Meanwhile, he directed JARVIS to assist with detailed observations and data analysis.
After half an hour of intense examination, Tony's eyes widened as he stared at the virtual screen displaying Adrian's body data. The results were astonishing, revealing unexpected anomalies in Adrian's physiology.
The report described Adrian as having physical fitness dozens of times superior to that of an ordinary human. His body contained immense power, capable of exerting a hundred or even hundreds of times more combat strength than a regular person. Additionally, his nerve reactions and speed were extraordinarily fast, far beyond typical human capabilities.
"How and when did you mutate? Immediately tell me about the situation when you mutated in detail. If you can naturally mutate, then as your brother, there is no reason I can't," Tony said to Adrian, studying the data intently.
"Although I don't want to discourage you, you really can't mutate naturally. Unless, of course, you're willing to use some genetic agents or something," Adrian said, glancing at Tony with uncertainty.
"If I don't try it, how can I be sure that I can't mutate? As for the genetic agent, don't think that I don't know about it. I know a lot of people who research genetic agents secretly, but only the scientists behind Captain America have perfected it. They were able to harness the power of the human body through these genetic agents, which were named 'Super Soldier Serum' by a secret department. However, the complete formula for the Super Soldier Serum has long since been lost. If some flawed versions are used, it is very much possible that something will go wrong. I don't want to take such a risk and lose my mind," Tony glanced at Adrian and said.
"Then I have no other way," Adrian said, spreading his hands in surrender.
"There is always a way. If you just follow me for a few more studies, I don't believe I can't crack the mystery," Tony Stark's eyes flashed.
"Come on, your expertise lies in designing weapons and creating high-tech equipment, not in studying genetics. If you're so eager to gain strength, I have a path that's perfect for you," Adrian interrupted Tony Stark.
"What do you mean?" Tony Stark asked since he hadn't been captured by terrorists and hadn't yet considered creating the Iron Man suit.
"Using the Arc Reactor as the energy core, you can produce portable armour. With your skills, I believe you can create an incredibly powerful piece of superhero equipment," Adrian suggested.
"Well?" Tony said, touching his chin thoughtfully. "Portable armour? That does sound interesting. Given the speed and flying capabilities, even without extracting similar abilities, it would definitely be a good way to get around quickly."
