Staring at the fallen mutant, Su Chen remained silent, his cold and emotionless face showing no signs of emotion. His eyes, however, grew colder, a chilling light emanating from them.

*TAP!*

He continued walking forward. The Terrigen Mist had completely engulfed everything in the area, turning visibility into a problem for anyone else.

*BUZZ!*

However, Su Chen's eyes, glowing faintly, pierced through the haze with ease. His vision was unimpeded, allowing him to see a figure moving along the street a hundred meters ahead—a figure that stood out due to the horns growing from its head.

This unusual sight might lead one to think it was a mutant. However, since mutants couldn't survive in the mist, the truth was becoming clear: this was the executor of the sinister plot.

"Perhaps you'd like to tell me exactly what's going on here?"

Without warning, without a sound of footsteps, the words echoed clearly in the ears of the Inhuman. Startled, the figure broke into a cold sweat, realizing that the voice had resonated directly in his mind, bypassing normal hearing.

This was a level of communication that touched the very core of one's psyche.

The Inhuman turned abruptly, his strange, slitted pupils narrowing as they adjusted focus, capturing the distant figure through the mist. His face changed slightly.

It was unmistakable—the figure exuded an aloof and stern presence. This was none other than the infamous Number One Mutant, whose name had recently resounded across the world.

*He came!*

But why?

His mind screamed in disbelief, but before he could react—

With no discernible energy fluctuations, he suddenly found himself within arm's reach of the other man.

"This...!"

The Inhuman was shocked.

*Ugh...*

At the same moment, an invisible force wrapped tightly around his neck. His feet left the ground as his limbs flailed desperately, trying to break free from the invisible grip.

Then, a mind-shattering force drilled into his brain.

"No!"

In that instant, he realized his memories were being laid bare, like a book being read without resistance.

"Inhumans... the miraculous city of Attilan on the Moon... Terrigen Mist... Royal Family member Maximus... the mist is lethal to mutants, causing a 100% mortality rate, while also killing most humans with latent mutant genes. Only Inhumans can evolve and awaken powers from it."

Su Chen summarized calmly.

He hadn't expected that this genocide would be orchestrated by a hidden faction, the Inhumans.

"Very well."

With a mere thought, Su Chen used telekinesis to snap the Inhuman's neck.

"Enemy attack! We're under attack, suspected to be the Number One Mutant!"

At the same moment, the instant the first Inhuman fell, another member of the Inhuman group stationed in the city, Gordon, sensed the death of his comrade.

Ten years ago, during his transformation in the Terrigen Mist, Gordon had lost his eyesight. However, in exchange for his loss of vision, he had gained terrifying sensory abilities.

Additionally, Gordon possessed another power: near-instantaneous teleportation.

The moment he relayed the message, Gordon activated his ability.

*WHOOSH!*

His body moved at high speed, leaving afterimages in his wake, like flickering lightning.

In less than half a second, Gordon had crossed half the city, relying on his acute sense of danger to zero in on a slender figure far below. Without hesitation, he charged.

In this state of super-speed, even a light touch would cause massive damage. Gordon, however, went straight for a full punch.

Despite his seclusion in a remote Earth village, the reputation of the Number One Mutant was well known. Hearing about the mutant rise on Earth had stirred the Inhuman Royal Family.

They questioned why they should continue living in seclusion when the Earth's beauty was theirs for the taking.

"Let me claim a victory for King Black Bolt," Gordon thought with determination.

His lightning-quick figure closed the distance, the punch aimed squarely at Su Chen's face.

But this wasn't Su Chen's first encounter with someone who could move at such speeds.

Therefore, his genes had already adapted, granting him dynamic visual capabilities that were astonishing. In Su Chen's eyes, Gordon's swift movements played out in slow motion, like a movie being played frame by frame.

"Too slow."

These were Su Chen's parting words to Gordon.

*BANG!*

Su Chen also threw a punch, but his was faster, smashing Gordon's head like a watermelon.

Gordon's arrogance and ignorance had cost him his life.

"Gordon..."

A voice called out tentatively from afar. The thick white mist severely limited visibility for those without heightened senses, and the speaker's words revealed his location.

"Ugh..."

Another Inhuman screamed in pain as Su Chen's telekinetic power formed an invisible hand, snatching him from the ground like a ragdoll and hurling him into another figure approaching from the distance.

*BANG!*

The two bodies collided and were sent flying.

"Damn it."

Maximus, standing within the city atop a mountain, cursed under his breath. His sharp mind had already perceived the changes at the base of the mountain.

He hadn't expected the Number One Mutant to show up so quickly.

*No! Why is he here?!*

Feeling his worldview crumble, Maximus immediately sent out a mental command, "Lash, take his power from him immediately."
