When Andrew saw this ability, he was gobsmacked.

'He will take over for a short duration? What is this ability? Is there a hidden meaning to this? And I will weaken over time, and it says the reward will be more. What will the reward be? Increase in Mana and Health, or will the Mana Cost for the ability decrease, or will it unlock the abilities he might use when he takes over me?'

He soon calmed down and started to plan for his escape.

'When I was brought to the prison, I saw how the structure was. A huge wall separates the outer area from the prison, and plenty of guards will be patrolling between them. The prison has two floors and one underground floor where I am held captive. Underground is where death row criminals and sentenced-for-life criminals are put. We are brought above once every day.'

'First floor is where the Temporary Guards Room will be available, with a rest area and a changing room. Other than that, on the ground floor is where there will be a Main Door separating the Jail Cells and the Main Area where there will be the cafeteria, Visitors Room, and finally, the Head Guards Room. There are also three ways to enter the Main Area, leave the prison, and get to the outer area. There is only one way, and this is where it will be difficult for me.'

'The second floor is where they will take us once every day and, in a few minutes, I can start my escape as they have to open the door to provide me dinner. After that, they will take me to the second floor for half-hour. The advantage is they will not take me through the elevator, and I can use Blink and navigate myself, open the Main Entrance door, head to the Head Guards Room, and escape.'

'The other advantage I have is that there are no cameras in this prison as they use this prison for torture, experimenting on the criminals, and even graves close to the prison with no tombstones. I heard about this from one of the new guards, so I can say that the ones who die due to torture or through experiments are buried there.'

He was brought out of his thoughts due to the opening of the cell door.

He quickly used Dark Vision to see how many there were and saw that only one was here to provide dinner.

He commanded mentally to use Blink, and now he could see that it was not going past the small opening of the door. The Door was blocking the Blink; if he used it now, he would be at the entrance.

He kept using it, and the Blink went past the cell door when it opened more.

He used Blink, disappeared, reappeared outside the cell, and was close to the opposite wall.

The guard was stunned to see no one inside the cell, and before he could do anything, a knife came out of his chest. Andrew had used the knife that was attached to the guard's belt.

"This is what you will get when you do what Damon and his idiots say," Andrew uttered coldly and saw the guard forever close his eyes.

Andrew quickly changed into the Guards clothes and put the guard in a sleeping position that shows the back of him when anyone sees through the small glass window opening in the Cell Door. Blood was on the Guard's Clothes, but this was common here. It wouldn't cause an issue if the others saw it.

'There won't be guards in this area. As soon as I get to the ground floor, on my left will be the jail cells for inmates sentenced for months and to my right will be the Main Entrance Door, and there will be a room where 3-5 guards will be in it, and towards the end of the room there will be a switch, and I can use that to open the Main Entrance door.'

He started to climb the stairs, and he used Blink to get to the stairs.

He felt the Dark Vision going off.

'There is a time limit, and I didn't even realize when it went off the first time.'

He started climbing the stairs and used Dark Vision again as he moved.

He reached the first floor, and to his right, he could see two red lights glowing inside a cell, and to his left, in the end, he could see the room attached to the Main Entrance Door.

There were 3 of them inside.

He could see what they were doing.

One was writing down a report. The other two were chatting.

Andrew opened the door, and the one writing a report turned to see who it was.

"Dave, what are you doing here?" He asked.

They mistook Andrew for Dave as he had worn the guard's uniform. Dave's name was written on the left side of Andrew's chest.

He used Blink, appeared behind him, and banged the guard's head on the table.

A sound came, which made the two who were chatting alert.

Andrew could see the two draw guns and communicate using hand signals.

He then hid outside the door and left the door open a bit, and waited for the other two guards to enter.

The two guards did not disappoint him as one of them kicked open the door and entered by rolling down.

The other guard acted as a backup and entered as well.

They both saw that the Guard writing the report was knocked out.

"Inform, fast."

The other guard took a walkie-talkie and was about to switch it on when Andrew appeared behind him and slit his throat.

Andrew disappeared again, appeared in front of the last guard, and pierced his knife through the guard's heart.

"Wish I could torture you all. You are lucky that I have less time," Andrew coldly uttered as he moved the switch upwards. As the Main Entrance Door started to open.

The door to the Main Entrance opened, and he could see the buzzing activity.

Many prison guards were moving around, and some civilians were pleading to see the inmates.

As he was walking, many guards could feel something was wrong as they looked toward Andrew.

Andrew also noticed this but did not heed it and continued walking using the Dark Vision again.

He reuses it only when the Mana reaches 100% every time.

He soon reached the Head Guard's room and saw no one inside.

He tried opening the door, and it opened as it was not locked.

'Good'

He then moved towards the table of the Head Guard, and behind his seat on the wall was the map of the Prison.

'There is a tunnel underground as well? I can use this to escape as the tunnel entrance is directly opposite the Head Guard's Room. This is good, but I am still determining where that will lead me. This is a more easy way to escape.'

He decided to escape through the Tunnel.

He also saw a key, and he hoped for it to be the key to unlocking the cell door for the Tunnel Entrance.

He also had something else, and a glint passed through his eyes as he took that.

He moved to open the door but stopped and used Dark Vision again.

A smirk grew on his face as he saw most guards pointing their guns toward the room.

He opened it without hesitation. He did it fast, used Blink, and disappeared from the sight of the guards who had started to shoot.

They all stopped and were in shock as they saw someone disappear.

"FIND HIM NOW!!! HE SHOULD NOT HAVE MOVED OUT OF MAIN AREA!!!" yelled and ordered the Head Guard.

Andrew was in the air and located the door he had to use to escape and used Blink 2 more times. He saw that the Mana decreased to 40%, and it slowly reached 60% and stopped.

'Only 20% will be regenerated quickly. What about the rest 40 how long will it take?'

He reached the door and opened it quickly.

But before he closed it, he had a bag in his right hand and threw that in the center.

There were no civilians as they were all evacuated.

The Head Guard saw a bag flying towards them and yelled, "Grenades" as he realized what the bag was.

Andrew had gotten this from the Head Prison Guards room. He still could not believe that they had something like this.

From the bag, the grenades went in different directions.

BOOM!! BOOM!!

Andrew was watching all of this with cold eyes as he opened the door connected to the tunnel with the key he found in the Head Guards Room. He turned back and saw the Head Guard was still alive and anger rose in him.

He used Blink two times and saw the mana decrease significantly, but he reached him.

The Head Guard was shocked to see someone appearing before him. He thought it was one of the other guards and stretched his hands toward Andrew.

There was no response from the guy who was standing in front of him. He looked up to see the guard but saw Andrew.

Cold sweats started to drop from him.

"Andrew…"

But what he got was the dark black eyes that were staring into his soul. He could see the wrath and rage in those eyes and knew he would die.

"I was ordered to do it," he said, breaking in between as he coughed blood.

He was knocked out before he could continue.

Without hesitation, Andrew carried the Head Guard, returned to the door, and entered it.

He did not use Blink this time as there was only chaos in the Main Area with all cops and the prison guards injured and running around.

This was the door that would let him go to the tunnels.

Andrew rushed as he carried the Head Guard, who was coughing out blood in his unconscious state.

He had been running for more than 20 minutes and using Blink in intervals. He soon saw that his Mana was back to 100%.

'20 minutes for the Mana to get to 100%. I have to be careful next time.'

He soon reached and what greeted him was a land of green.

'I know I was taken to a different prison, but what the hell is this? Where the hell am I?'

Andrew dropped the captain on the ground, which woke him up.

The captain was terrified and peed in his pants as he saw Andrew staring down at him.

"Where are we?"

"We are outside California. We have been using this Underground Prison to hold death row criminals and those sentenced for life. This is the prison being used for Lab experiments and Torture that is not known to the world."

"Is this Government-authorized?"

"Yes," he uttered with Visible fear on his face.

Andrew took a deep breath and exhaled.

The Head Guard was panicking.

"I can help you, you know..."

Andrew looked at him as if he was looking at an idiot.

"What can you help me with? All you do is follow orders, just like me. Whatever information you can give me amounts to nothing because you have nothing. Do you think they will come if you call? No, they will send men to silence you, and I could do that on my own…"

He moved fast, and the knife penetrated the eye of the Head Guard and went to his brain, ending him.

He removed the knife and looked at the vast land around him.

He took a deep breath and relaxed, but his eyes showed wrath.

"Damon, I am coming for you."
