Chapter 54: Scarlet Witch Appears

The answer space began playing a video.

At the beginning, Tony Stark's figure appeared, slowly walking into a dimly lit room.

"Everyone, I found Strucker," Captain America's voice sounded, but his figure didn't appear. It seemed they were communicating remotely.

"Good, I found... some big guys," Tony Stark entered the room, where a gigantic mechanical being resembling a whale lay.

Seeing this thing, the individuals in the answer space's pupils contracted.

"A Chitauri aircraft!" Tony Stark exclaimed. "Why is it here?"

"It seems to have been kept here by someone," Phil Coulson looked at the massive mechanical creature in the footage, its ferocious appearance leaving him awestruck. Would they be facing such things in battle a year from now?

"Then it's settled, the Age of Ultron happened after the Battle of New York," Clint Barton also stared at the massive entity. He hadn't participated in the first answering session and had only heard it from Natasha Romanoff's account. How shocking it was to see the video.

The room in the video seemed like a research facility. Tony Stark looked around and noticed the room was filled with various components, mechanical arms, and computers.

At that moment, Thor's figure appeared in the room. It turned out he had arrived earlier than Tony Stark.

Thor stood beside a person lying on the ground. Although the person lying down was only glimpsed briefly, the individuals in the answer space had excellent eyesight and had already recognized him as Clint Barton.

"What's wrong?" Tony Stark retorted. "Is she not attractive enough? Just because she's a villain doesn't mean we can't acknowledge her appearance."

"The way she attacks is also different from the rumors about witches," Phil Coulson noticed the Scarlet Witch's methods.

"Roar~"

Roaring sounds suddenly echoed.

In the video, the massive, ferocious, whale-like mechanical being came to life, swimming around in the dark void of space.

Then, an unforgettable scene unfolded.

The huge green body of the Hulk lay there, with several weapons stuck in his invulnerable body, twitching uncontrollably. Natasha Romanoff's delicate figure lay beneath the Hulk, her eyes wide open, as if unable to close in death. Clint Barton sat there, his hands still gripping his bow and arrows, his head bowed, motionless, no one knowing if he still had the ability to shoot that arrow.

Below them, Thor's eyes were tightly shut, his body covered in wounds, like an exhausted man who could finally rest.

Under Thor, a shattered shield was discarded like trash on the ground, and Captain America lay there silently.

No, it wasn't just the shield that seemed like trash. To be precise, those bodies, the bodies of the Avengers, lay there like discarded garbage.

Although they knew that this scene was just an illusion caused by Scarlet Witch's mind control, the Avengers in the answer space still felt a sense of desolation, a sense of sorrow.

Tony Stark didn't notice that the Scarlet Witch, who had just influenced him, was watching him from the side.

At this moment, a figure flashed by, like a gust of wind, appearing next to the Scarlet Witch.

"Who's this again?" Quicksilver's appearance was truly shocking. Clint Barton said, "That kind of speed is not something an ordinary human can possess!"
