Chapter 33: Loki: I Need to Leave This Planet

"Shit!" Thor exclaimed as he witnessed the scene, realizing something was wrong.

"Thor, you got shocked again!" Tony Stark's mocking voice sounded immediately. "Is it because your alias isn't good enough? Maybe you should change your alias and not go by 'God of Thunder' anymore?"

"The God of Thunder is not an alias!"

"I don't care if it's an alias or not. I just want to know why you got shocked again."

"Stark, can you shut your mouth? That wasn't electricity, at least not the kind you all think it is..." Thor's words were cut short as he suddenly exclaimed in disbelief. "Oh no!"

"What's wrong?" Phil Coulson asked.

"They... they want to cut my hair!" Thor pointed at the video, shouting.

Silence fell over the group. They couldn't understand why Thor was making such a fuss about getting his hair cut.

They thought something earth-shattering had happened when Thor exclaimed like that, but it was just about cutting hair?

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Thor looked at everyone's bewildered faces and couldn't help but say, "My hair must not be touched! You can step over my dead body, but you absolutely cannot touch my hair!"

"But your hair is about to be cut," Clint Barton pointed to the old man in the video who was holding the trimming tool and chuckling.

"No!"

"No!"

Two cries of despair simultaneously echoed as both Thor in the trivia space and Thor in the video shared the same fate of having their hair cut short.

But that couldn't change the destiny of his hair being trimmed.

After that despicable old man did that unspeakable thing to Thor, the camera cut to a massive arena.

A towering figure made of light and shadow stood in the center of the arena, smiling as he delivered a speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen! A splendid performance! A beautiful night! Are you all having a great time?" The towering figure, dressed in magnificent attire, spoke confidently. "I am your host. Please give another round of enthusiastic applause for the challengers who lie dead on the warm-up match today..."

As the figure spoke, the camera provided a close-up of the arena. It was truly an enormous arena. From an aerial perspective, the audience looked as small as ants, filling the entire arena in dense rows.

To everyone's surprise, they actually saw a familiar figure in the audience area—Loki!

He held a glass of wine, strolling leisurely with an expectant look, standing in the audience area, gazing at the arena.

"What's going on?" Tony Stark couldn't help but ask. "You're supposed to be in the arena, but your brother Loki is here, watching from the stands?"

"Don't ask me, I have no idea what's happening either," Thor was equally confused, unable to understand where the plot was heading.

"The message conveyed in this video is quite clear. Something happened to Asgard in the future, and you, Thor, were brought to this alien-filled place by that Valkyrie and became a gladiator," Clint Barton summarized briefly. "As for your brother Loki, we still don't know what happened to him."

"Although he's making his first appearance, he seems to have great potential. At least he's got some skills. I won't say much. Ladies and gentlemen, witness it for yourselves. I present to you... the God of Thunder!" accompanied by the uninformative commentary from the figure of light and shadow, the newly-short-haired Thor stepped into the arena.

"So, this is what I look like with short hair?" Thor looked at his counterpart walking in the arena and said, "Not bad~"

"Who was it that said they wouldn't want their hair cut even if they died?" Tony Stark said with some exasperation. "And now they're saying their short hair looks good?"

"Stark, don't confuse these two things," Thor explained confidently. "Saying that my short hair looks good and not wanting it to be cut are two different matters. They're not necessarily related!"

"Pay attention to his fingers, he can produce electric shocks," the figure of light and shadow briefly introduced Thor and started introducing Thor's opponent. "Alright, enough talk. Let's welcome this contestant. Here he comes!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Green smoke filled the sky above the arena, and the audience erupted in cheers. The sound was so loud that it seemed to make the entire arena tremble, indicating the immense popularity of this person.

Thor, holding his shield, seemed to sense the strength of his opponent from the commotion in the audience. His expression became serious.

"Well, he is different and incomparable. I feel a strange connection with him. He's unbeatable," the figure of light and shadow commented, and Thor put on his helmet.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome the invincible..." the figure of light and shadow deliberately drew out the suspense. The iron gate of the arena slowly rose, but halfway up, it was shattered with a loud crash, and a gigantic figure rushed out.

"...Hulk!" the host's voice finally dropped.

"Ah!!" Hulk, wearing armor, held a giant hammer in one hand and a giant axe in the other, roaring with fury.

"Perfect!" Thor, who had originally worn a serious expression, saw the figure of the Green Goliath and went from astonishment to ecstatic joy. "We know each other. He's my best friend!"

"I have to leave this planet immediately." Loki, who had been watching the match with great interest, suddenly turned pale and tried to leave, but was stopped by the Grandmaster.

"Doctor Banner? How could it be Doctor Banner?"

"The big guy ended up in outer space, what's going on?"

The members of the answer space looked at each other in confusion. They didn't expect that Thor's opponent in this arena would actually be an Earthling.

It should be noted that at the current stage of Earth, or even in a considerable future, Earth does not possess the ability for interstellar travel.

Bruce Banner, no matter how brilliant he is, operates on Earth and cannot go to other planets.

What exactly happened in the video? How did Bruce Banner end up in outer space and become a gladiator like Thor?

"I don't know what's going on with the big guy, but Thor, it's obvious that he's not voluntarily being a gladiator, he's being forced," Phil Coulson pointed to the Grandmaster in the video and asked Thor, "Who is this person, do you know?"

"I don't know," Thor shook his head, "but he was able to force me to be his gladiator and make the Hulk his gladiator as well. He must be someone formidable."

"Hulk!"

"Hulk!"

"Hulk!"

After the Hulk's appearance, the audience erupted in excitement. Everyone shouted the Hulk's name loudly, and some even waved Hulk's images in their hands. It was evident that the Hulk was immensely popular here.

From this, it could be inferred that the Hulk had fought in this place more than once and had been here for a considerable amount of time.
