Ch-1 I Kill Iron Man!!

Outside the Sacred Timeline!

Zero Time Zone Dimension!

Under normal circumstances, there should be nothing here-no space, no time, no matter. It should be a true void.

However now this place is filled with numerous abstract, retro-futuristic style buildings that look both ancient and awe-inspiring at first glance, and have been around for who knows how many years.

This is the TVA - the 'Time Variance Authority!'

In the timekeeping hall of the main office area, a large number of agents, all wearing identical white shirts, sit upright in their divided workspaces. They are responsible for monitoring every event on the timeline, year after year, with no end in sight.

Suddenly, the expression on the face of one of the agent, a plump man changed. Surprise and disbelief filled his face. He rubbed his eyes vigorously under his glasses, put them back on, and stared at the screen in front of him.

He didn't see anything - the time branch was red!

This is the highest level of crisis. If it continues to develop, it could cause unpredictable and terrible danger to the sacred timeline!

In panic, the man picked up an old red landline phone. After three seconds of ringing, the call was connected and he quickly reported:

"TC02354 calling Director! Time branch... red crisis! Timeline... 2012, November 27th!!!"

A deep voice echoed from the other end of the phone:

"Understood."

Three minutes ago!

2012, November 27- At Night!

A fierce battle is raging in a Tennessee harbor!

All around, humanoid steel machines of various shapes swoop down and attack a man whose upper body is exposed and whose skin is red as molten iron.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As the iron suits continue to be destroyed, Tony Stark finally finds an opportunity to wrap his own armor around Killian!

In the next second, Tony gives the self-destruct order without hesitation, intending to use the reactor to destroy the cyborg and avenge Pepper!

But the opposite happens.

After the violent explosion, Killian who has undergone the most successful transformation with the Extremis virus, remains alive!

His broken limbs begin to twist and grow back, solidifying like magma.

Killian, seeing the shocked look on Tony's face, laughs victoriously. "This is true evolution. Your iron creations are utterly worthless!"

"Haha, Stark! How does it feel to be defeated by something you despised?"

Tony half kneels on the ground and looks at the enemy in despair. He has lost. He cannot defeat Killian with physical strength alone. After defeating the Chitauri, it feels ironic to die at the hands of a human.

"Huh?" Tony suddenly exclaimed, his gaze sweeping over Killian's head.

Killian sneered, not bothering to look up. "Do you think I'm some third-rate villain who would fall for such a cheap trick?"

"I really overestimated you, Star-"

BOOM!!!

A thunderous roar seemed to come from the endless void, shaking the entire room!

In the next second, Tony's eyes widened in shock as a golden bolt of lightning struck Killian, who just moments before had been looking at him with disdain!

The blinding light seemed like divine punishment!

However, in the intense light and shock, Tony was also thrown to the ground and hit hard.

A few seconds later, Tony shook his head to clear the concussion and looked with difficulty at the spot where the thunder had just struck.

The arrogant Killian, the victorious villain only moments before, was now nothing more than a torso above the chest and calves below the knees. The rest of his body was shattered, and a strange young man lay on top of him.

A second later, the young man, clearly burned, jumped up and screamed in pain, frantically tearing off his burning clothes.

Tony was confused. What was going on? The enemy he couldn't defeat had just been shattered. This was too dramatic!

Russell, also confused, looked around in disbelief.

What happened? One moment I was watching the sunrise on Mount Tai, and as the red sun was rising, I was struck by golden lightning. When I woke up, I was burning and the sky was dark!

No one saved me while I was unconscious? I'm a freshman, not an old man trying to cheat people...

At that moment, a low hum came from beneath his feet. Russell looked down to see that the floor had at some point turned into a steel bridge. A horrible corpse lay on it, its wounds dripping with molten blood.

This scene would have been horrifying to most people, but to Russell it was strangely familiar.

Where had he seen this person before?

Wait... Is this even a human?

Suddenly, a strong sense of familiarity washed over him. It felt like he was only a thin layer of understanding away from figuring everything out.

At that moment, the dying Killian, filled with resentment, turned his neck in another direction, anger burning in his eyes, and shouted with his last breath:

"Tony Stark, I will take you to hell with me!"

Ptoo!

A thick lump of magma-like blood shot out of Killian's mouth like a meteor and hit the chest of a man struggling to get up - not far from where Russell stood watching in shock!

In an instant, Tony's micro-reactor was destroyed, melting his heart and killing him almost instantly.

No hesitation, no chance of rescue - Tony Stark was dead.

The familiar voice finally broke through the last layer of confusion in Russell's mind.

He finally realized why no one had come to rescue him on Mount Tai.

This isn't Earth!

He had traveled to the scene in Iron Man 3 where Killian fights Iron Man.

But... what kind of twisted luck is this? I just crossed over into the Marvel world, and now Iron Man is dead?

What the hell kind of "hero nemesis" am I?
