Marvel's Agent Belova

Dude gets reincarnated in the MCU and lands in the hands of the KGB. He gets put in the Wolf Spider Ops which is the male equivalent of the Black Widow Ops and trained as a spy for the KGB. Now Nikolai Belova, he has to find out who took 10 years of his life. This book takes a lot of inspiration from the Boy Nobody series! Check it out! I loved the series and I'm sure you'll too. https://www.amazon.com/Am-Weapon-Assassin-Allen-Zadoff/dp/B01LTHXJ9Q 「Tags: System, Action, Spy Protagonist」

『S.H.I.E.L.D.』

[A/N: Choosing the power has been real hard, But I have finally chosen a good one. After watching a sh*t ton of MCU shows and movies I have chosen something unique. It's not super-strength or speed, or durability. It doesn't enhance his nerve systems too much. He doesn't have an innate connection to technology. Or elemental abilities. He's just a normal mutant. If yall can guess what it is...then I'll do something I guess. Like give you the chance to choose the MC's first mission. Make him infiltrate Xavier's Institute of Gifted Youngsters. Or infiltrating Kamar-Taj and learning mystic arts. You choose my dudes.]

"Mr. Belova. Stand down."

He looks familiar. Like I've seen him before. His voice. The uncanny resemblance to Samuel L. Jackson. A deep fondness within me. But I put those thoughts behind me. I need to survive. I need to escape. I need to stay focused.

So I go back to my training.

Assess the danger.

Ten people in the room excluding the workers.

One man in front of me. No doubt trained soldiers in the vehicles. If they know who I was, then they know my record.

They should know that a couple soldiers aren't going to stop me. But here they are.

So I proceed with caution.

I turn my head around like I am trying to find out who he's talking to. I slowly point to myself.

"Me?" I ask with a surprised expression. "Sir, my name is Daniel Brown."

I start making calculations.

Four feet. That's how much ground I need to cover to be a threat to Mr. Eye-patch.

His stance and breathing show that he's trained. His attention to minor details is superb. Meaning, he'd react before I could approach.

Unless I can break his guard. Unless I can distract him.

"Really?" A feminine voice asks. "Because, I could have sworn you said your name was Lucien."

In walks the woman far ahead her time. With lovely deep red curls and stunning brown eyes.

"Like light." She says with a smile.

I also smile. There is something about smiling that makes people lose their distrust towards you.

I start making new calculations. There are now two variables in the mix.

I reach my hands towards my pockets and they tensed. No matter how chill they seemed, they still didn't drop their guards down.

Any rash moves and I'll be a goner.

But they let me reach into my pockets. They are watching attentively but they let me reach into my pockets.

It's a message from them. They aren't scared of me.

I'd be insulted if they weren't so skilled.

I bring out the beautifully made white card. The lipstick mark still well preserved.

I wave it around and smile playfully.

"Is this how you got me?" I ask.

The moment the red-hair walked in I had my suspicions. The only relation between me and her was the card.

This was my fault.

My training said to throw it away. The moment she was out of view. But I needed a place to go. I needed to provide for myself.

I didn't have a backing. But that was still rash of me.

"You don't remember me."

She smiles again. Not like usual. It's a bit sad.

But I don't let it get to my head. From our previous meeting, she has proven herself to be an excellent manipulator.

I turn my attention to the person with the most authority in the room.

"What now?" I ask Mr. Eye-patch.

"Nikolai Belova. I'd like to offer you a job." He takes out an I.D. card with an eagle engraved at the top.

[Nikolai Belova]

[Field Officer]

[Sex: Male | Hair: BLN | Height: 5-10]

[Card info: HS 03S0773]

Before I could answer, the red hair interrupted.

"Before you ask, no. There will not be any interviews." She has a playful expression.

I ignore her. Maybe to her disappointment.

"You are giving me a job? You do know who I am right?" I ask in disbelief.

The eye-patch smiles.

"Agents with Level 7 clearance may stay. Otherwise you can go."

From the original nine people. Only one stayed. They were all his men.

This was a show of power. A demonstration of what his organization can do.

"Nikolai Belova. Orphaned at a very young age and joined the Soviet's Wolf Spider Ops. The Soviet's answer to the Super Soldier project conducted by Russian Psychos. The only sane survivor of the Wolf Spider Ops and HYDRA's best shot at achieving Super Soldiers. A 100% assignment complete rate and master of the Spy Craft. You might even give Agent Ward a run for his money." He says with a confident smile.

There were many things to decipher in the text, but I chose to approach the one which gave me the biggest advantage. They have the advantage in information. They want me to know that.

"If you know all this than you should know that a couple guys aren't enough to stop me." I say with a slight edge in my voice.

The two look at each other and laugh.

"Well unfortunately for you, I'm not a guy." She gets in a fighting position.

I glance at Eye-Patch and he just shrugs.

"What do I get from fighting you?" I ask.

Expending energy isn't a good choice for me right now. Fighting is even worse. The ringing in my head and the piercing pain in my eye distracts me from the conversation. Much less actual combat.

"We'll let you go." She promises. I look for lies but she already put up her defenses. I can't read her.

"No need. What are your terms?" I ask the bald man.

"Terms?" He asks.

"What are my limitations if I choose to work for you? What are the benefits?"

"Well, Mr. Belova. I am the Director of the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate. Nick Fury." He says with a smile.

That's when it dawns on me. He's Nick Fury. The world's greatest spy. He's the spy! But most importantly, he's the biggest competitor of the GRU. Him and his agency.

Could this be my new mission? Infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. and become a sleeper agent? But why didn't the contact me before all this?

I turn my attention to the red head and she became more interesting.

Who was she? To stand side-by-side with the World's Greatest Spy? She looks familiar.

I go through my personal data base for anyone who might reach the heights of Fury. For anyone so memorable on the side of the Americans.

There is no one.

The only one I can remember who might have this type of status is from our side. The Russian side.

Could she be a traitor?

My training tells me to kill her. To protect the Soviets. To protect the motherland.

But I can't rely on my training anymore. She's been through the same lessons as me. She probably knows what I'm thinking.

Natalia Romanova. One of the KGB's greatest asset.

"That's quite a mouthful." I say.

"We're working on it." She says.

"We are an international peacekeeping, law enforcement, and counter-terrorism agency. We have bases everywhere with men to back it up. We are also the world's greatest information agency." He says with confidence.

"That's impressive. I guess. But what are the lows of working for you? This is the first time in my life I have a choice to make. You can see how important this is to me right? Why should I join your crew and throw myself back into the job I hate? Why should I throw away my one chance at a quiet life?" I ask him.

Fury stayed silent for a second. Probably calculating his approach. Making small adjustments based on how I reacted.

After a moment he opens his mouth.

"Because we're all you have."

Y'all can comment stuff I guess. Please keep the negativity to an all time low. Bring that positivity to a high!

And expose my dumbass if yall have time.

I work on these chapters a lot okay. I'm not dropping the book. I just don't like how I wrote some stuff so I don't publish it. I have ten drafts of this scene and I still only like this one a bit more than the other ones.
