And in the darkness, something new took root, a twisted seed of vengeance that grew to consume her. SHE RUN AWAY WITH MY CHILD

Chapter 3: She Run Away With His Child

Kiara's breath caught in her throat. The man seemed like a monster who wouldn't let a child escape his control.

"The baby is innocent," she whispered.

"You really think you can have my baby without my permission?" the man sneered.

She hung her head in shame. "I'm sorry. It was an accident."

Enzo's lips tightened. He didn't believe it was just a mistake. 'She's trying to trap me!'

"Listen carefully: don't even think about using my child to beg for my forgiveness," he warned through clenched teeth.

Kiara looked at him with sadness welling up inside her. Tears filled her eyes as she shook her head. "It really was an accident. I never wanted to use the child for anything."

"Any other woman can have my child, but not you. I don't want my child to inherit your mother's dirty genes," he said coldly. "Get rid of it."

Tears streamed down her cheeks at his words. She was already trying her best to make up for her mother's mistakes by being with him. What more did he want from her?

'Does he want my life too?' she wondered.

"Go to the hospital immediately!" Enzo commanded coldly.

Tears streamed down Kiara's cheeks as she instinctively held her abdomen. 'My baby, I'm too weak to protect you. I'm sorry.'

She closed her eyes, feeling an overwhelming pain in her heart.

'Can't I keep the baby? It's his child too!'

Suddenly, Enzo's phone rang. He glanced at it and answered without hesitation. "Yes."

"Mr. Davis, there's an urgent matter in the stock market. You need to come back and handle it," the voice of the finance department's manager came from the other end.

Enzo checked the time upon hearing that. Showing no patience to accompany Kiara to the hospital, he instructed in a cold voice, "Deal with it yourself."

He knew she wouldn't dare to keep the baby.

Kiara watched as he walked towards the car.

As his sports car disappeared into the sunset, she quickly got up. She didn't know where to go, but she knew she had to leave this man.

She drove her car to a side street and parked it. Glancing around, she noticed a bus nearby. Without hesitation, she approached it.

The ticket seller looked at her and asked, "Where are you heading, miss?"

Kiara didn't hesitate to step onto the bus.

After finding a seat, she told the woman, "To the last stop, please."

Kiara was determined to escape. She had never been this brave or defied Enzo before. But this time, for her baby's sake, she decided to face fate head-on. Holding onto her bag tightly, she turned off her phone and eventually drifted off to sleep from exhaustion.

As night descended, a black Bugatti pulled into the villa. Enzo, having finished his work and returned home, expected to find Kiara, who he thought had just had surgery, waiting for him.

However, the living room was empty. It felt as though no one had been there.

His wife always greeted him when he returned from work, so where was she now?

"Kiara?" Enzo called out in a deep voice.

But there was no reply.

He quickly ascended the stairs, checking the master bedroom, the study, and even Kiara's usual places for quiet reflection. But she was nowhere to be seen.

Finally, it dawned on him—she had never returned home.

'I told her to come back this afternoon. Where could she have gone?' He considered a possibility. 'Did she run away?'

He grabbed his phone and called Kiara, but as expected, her phone was off.

"Damn it!"

'She actually ran away! How dare she?' Enzo seethed with anger.

After a grueling six-hour bus ride, Kiara found herself at the bus station in Eastwind. She was no longer anxious or rushed. Escaping from Enzo brought her a sense of calm.

She still had some money in her bank account, enough to support herself for a while.

She switched to using a regular phone to avoid being tracked. Determined to make a clean break, she needed to get as far away as possible.

She had fled to a place where Enzo would never find her again.

One of her college classmates lived in Bloomcrest. According to her friend, Bloomcrest was a beautiful place with a mild climate and a peaceful atmosphere. It was located in a remote area with limited transportation and communication.

Now, she found herself considering starting a new life there.

After careful consideration, she knew Enzo would search for her worldwide. He would be furious, and if he found her, he might harm her. But she didn't care.

She may have made a risky decision, but she acted on a mother's instinct to protect her child.

Wouldn't it be cruel to get rid of her child without a second thought?

Her guess was right.

Enzo was indeed searching for her everywhere.

In the city streets, he mobilized all the company's bodyguards in the middle of the night to search for her in places she might have gone.

At 4:00 AM, he went to a corner of a garden and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He tried to contain his anger as he lit one.

Suddenly, a woman's voice pierced the air, screaming, "H-Help me!"

With his chin raised Enzo spotted a drunk man pulling a young woman, trying to take advantage of her.

Narrowing his gaze, he dropped his cigarette and approached the drunken man.

The woman, in a state of panic, pleaded for his help. "Sir, please save me! Sir…"

Enzo quickly grabbed the drunk man's hand, causing him to scream in pain and let go of the woman.

Seizing the opportunity, she hurriedly escaped from danger.

Enzo felt a surge of anger and kicked the man into a nearby flower bed. Not wanting to get his hands dirty, he turned to leave.

But a pure and beautiful face flashed in his mind. Compared to the woman he just saved, Kiara had a face that attracted more attention from men.

'Who will save her if she's in a similar situation? How will she be treated?'

Back in his car, a wave of fury flooded over his mind. He kicked his own tire, his handsome face twisted in frustration.

"Shit!"

No man, except himself, was permitted to touch Kiara. Possessiveness and dominance were ingrained in his nature.

None of the incoming calls were the ones he awaited.

'She's quite the escape artist, isn't she? She vanished completely, taking my child with her! Damn it. When I find her, she'll pay dearly!'

Enzo hadn't anticipated his search for her to last six whole months.

In the mountainous terrain, camellias flourished, filling the air with a natural and rustic charm. After a harsh winter, spring had arrived, painting the landscape with blooming flowers.

Inside a cozy cottage, a woman in a gray plaid skirt sat down. As she stood up, her belly bulged slightly. Though slender, it was clear she carried an eight-month-old child.

Kiara had successfully escaped to a place far from Enzo's reach. Despite its lack of modern amenities like transportation and internet, the area exuded warmth and happiness.

Her presence endeared her to the locals. Beautiful, kind, and hardworking, she even became a substitute music teacher at a local school.

Everyone affectionately referred to her as Miss Reynolds.

"Kiara, I suggest you go to the county earlier and rent a house. You only have one month left until your due date," advised her classmate, Zoey Foster.

"Mhm. I'll go in a few days. Thank you for taking care of me all this time, Zoey."

"Kiara, are you sure you're ready to be a single mother? What are your plans for the future?"

"I've made up my mind. I'm prepared to stay here and teach as a volunteer."

"That won't do. You're a city girl. How can you raise a child here?" Zoey disapproved of her decision.

However, Kiara was determined to live with her child in this area. She didn't mind their financial situation as long as she could be with her child forever.

She had chosen to live for her child.
