Chapter 50 Farm 4

Yes!" I answered quickly, "You know, when Alex decided to finally get married, you don't know how happy we all were. He's been through a lot of failed relationships and we were tired of his constant cold attitude. My son decided he needs a wife at least someone who can stay with him. I personally thought your relationship with Alex would not last until I saw the news last night!" She said smiling.

'Oh so all these was cause of the news' I thought to myself. I even forgot about that, since I was so engrossed in finding out Alex's secrets, which, I ended up finding the wrong one's. "Now I believe you're the right one for him!" She said with so much confidence.

I just couldn't understand why everyone kept saying I and Alex are meant for each other, when we both know what goes on in our relationship. But as usual I had to fake a smile, basically that's the least I could do now.

I walked into my apartment after a long section with great grandma. she's basically the nicest person I've met so far, and I can bodly say Alex took after grandma. Though the houses were similar in appearance the inside speaks differently. Everyone had their quarters and mine was just perfect. I loved every bit of it, from the green mable floor to the white ceiling in the lounge.

This apartment wasn't dressed with wood like great Grandma's. I walked around to admire the wonderful decorations as my gaze fell on the wonderful paintings on the wall. The house or apartment had just one room, which was so beautiful. There was a diamond chandelier above the bed dressed in brown sheets. The sofas there were milk in colour matching the beautiful room.

I walked into the bathroom, and then the closet and wasn't surprised by what I saw. Of course his clothes had to be in here too. Alex's clothes, shoes and other properties were neatly hanged and arranged in the closet. I quickly changed my shoes cause my legs ached alot. "Huhhh...!" I let out a sigh of relief.  I walked back into the bedroom and laid on the big bed taking deep relaxing breath.

"I can't wait for Alex to come back so he an tell me where he's keeping mum!" I muttered to myself. I couldn't stay a day without thinking about her, I just hoped she was doing okay. Thinking of our reunion again I smiled but then my smile slowly faded at the thought of she not being able to recognize me.

I quickly got off the bed and walked back into the lounge, I couldn't stay a minute being idle to avoid stressing my brain.

There was another door in the lounge and I opened it curiously, it was a large kitchen that had a dinning area and a private chef. "Hello madam, I'm Collin your personal chef!" He said bowing. "Hello Collin!" I said and walked out. I chuckled cause I wasn't expecting to see anyone in there.

I walked back into the lounge, settled in the sofa, stretching my arms and legs muscles. I was exhausted after our long trip.
