Chapter 126 Days to the Wedding 7

Berverly just did not expect to see Hazel in the lounge after she had angrily left earlier. "Pardon my rudeness earlier, I just needed to change my clothes!" Hazel sat close to Alex. "Of course that's nothing!" Berverly said.

"I was apologizing about the incident you witnessed on your engagement party. We take full responsibility for it, and shouldn't have expressed our love in that form and on that day!" Berverly's words pierced into Hazel's heart like arrows piercing into her skin.

But Hazel knew she didn't have to show that she was hurt at least not before this witch claiming all innocent right now. Plus she already told Alex she was not inlove with him, you can't get jealous if you don't like someone right??

Hazel composed herself and tried to breath In silently, multiple times to calm her nerves. She took Alex's chilled juice and took a mouth full to calm her burning chest. She was just hurt that Alex loved someone else, why did they have to rub it in everytime.

Berverly smiled at Hazel's reaction inwardly, this was only the beginning. She thought. "That's alright Alex already did that multiple times, I'm so tired of bringing up the conversation again!" "Since you're here, then it's best you'd be the first to know, and you're re-invited to our wedding ceremony this weekend!" Hazel smiled.

You can't just defeat the queen of sas, who was forced to learn, cause of the Demon sitted next to her. It was time for her to smile at the hideous look on Berverly's face. "I believe we're done here, Gais would see you out when you're done with your drink!" "Alex, please come with me, I need you!" Hazel said those hypnotizing words to the man sitted next to her and he followed her immediately.

"We'll meet again Miss Balowe!" Alex left with Hazel. Berverly got really furious as her breath hitched. She almost destroyed the lounge and then she suddenly realized it wasn't her house cause of the stares from the maids. 

Berverly got up and left the mansion immediately before she exploded.

Alex was warming up to her, he smiled at her but the naive girl destroyed everything as usual. And to even crown it all they're still getting married. She had really underestimated Hazel before, but now she knew not to joke anymore.

She got into her car and drove off.

I got back to the room with Alex, "what did you want to tell me?" Alex asked sitting on the bed. "The pictures, you promised me, the pictures of your family once we got home!" Alex stared at me with narrowed eyes for some time before leaving the room.

I was more than excited, I was able to hide and control my feelings before that witch, but I just couldn't tell how long I'll be able to hide this burning feelings that keeps rising for Alex. The air in the room suddenly became hot under the air conditioning, and I used my hands as an artificial air generating equipment.

I sat on the bed waiting for Alex to get back. In just few minutes he got back holding a file on his hands. I was eager to see it's content as I sat there like a child who's about to receive her candy. Alex got to my corner and dropped the file on my legs, then he hopped on his side of the bed.

He just kept staring at me as I brought each pictures out, one after another. After my little observation, I finally concluded, Alex looked exactly like his father. His little sister Aurora was really beautiful she had a rare blue eyes just like her mother.

Seeing them now, I imagined how much pain they must have felt at that point in time. I was distracted by my ringing phone and Alex was quick to pick the call.

"Hazel, don't take me as a joke I'm warning you, see me in my office at noon tomorrow. You know better not to tell that husband of yours about this!" He hunged up after his message. Alex stared at Hazel with narrowed eyes.
