Lucien was making his way through the halls of the new unoccupied hotel his company had acquired. Jillian's heel clicked on the marble floors as she hurried after him. They were both smartly dressed but had hard hats on their heads. Lucien was in his usual business attire. He had greyish-blue slacks on and a white shirt that was unbuttoned at the neck. He had abandoned his suit jacket and tie in the car. Jillian was in a crème-coloured blouse and a brown pencil skirt. With them was a short, thick little man who kept assuring Lucien that the project would be done by the deadline.
