Waking For The First Day

Ae Ra got up as she heard splashing sound coming from the washroom. She looked around and realized that Yu Shik was in the washroom. Then, she looked at the time in the digital clock, it was 5 in the morning. 'Oh! There is still time, let me sleep some more' She covered herself with the blanket and tossed to the other side.

Yu Shik came out of the washroom with his hair drenched in water. He wore casual pants and a T-shirt. He looked at Ae Ra. She was still asleep. Walking over to her, he started to shake her. "Get up, Ae Ra! It is time. You will be late."

Ae Ra made an annoying sound. She covered her head with the blanket and slept again.

Yu Shik took a dryer and started drying his hair. While he was doing so, he didn't stop calling her. He called her again and again and finally, Ae Ra took a pillow and covered her ears with it. She grunted "Let me sleep for some more time, it is just five."

Yu Shik looked at the time. It was five. He sighed. And suddenly an idea popped in his mind. He took the digital clock and changed the time from five to six. He kept it back at the same place and looked at it. 'Something doesn't feel right.' He thought and again took the clock. He changed the time to 6.30 and now woke her up.

"Ae Ra, what are you saying? It is 6.30 in the morning!" Yu Shik hadn't even finished his sentence when Ae Ra immediately sprung up from the bed asking "What did you say?" She looked at him with wide eyes.

"It's 6.30." Yu Shik replied trying to suppress his smile. He was doing a prank on her, but he just wanted to wake her up early.

Ae Ra looked at the time. It was 6.30. 'Did I actually sleep that long? It was just five when I woke up and now it's 6.30?' Ae Ra asked herself.

"C'mon, Ae Ra get up! You have slept for long." Yu Shik walked towards her and stretched out his hand.

Ae Ra looked at him. He was all clean and fresh. 'Aigoo! I'm really late!' She held his hand and got out of the bed. She walked towards the closet and stood there looking at the clothes. "Hmm, What should I wear?" She asked herself in a low voice.

Then she turned around and asked Yu Shik "Umm, Oppa help me out! I don't know what to wear." She pointed at the various clothes hung behind her in the closet.

Yu Shik stepped towards her and started looking at the various clothes in the closet. He kept his hand under his chin and started to think. Then, he looked at her and said "Why don't you take a shower first? By the time you are out from the shower, I will find some good clothes for you and get them ironed, okay?" He cupped her face and made her look at him.

Ae Ra gave a shy nod and went to the bathroom for a shower.

20 minutes later, Ae Ra came out of the bathroom with her cheeks flushed red due to the steam emanated from the hot water. She wore a blue bathrobe and let her short shoulder hair open. They were still wet as they drenched the shoulders of her bathrobe.

She noticed that a brown-colored pencil skirt, and a cream-colored buttoned-down top was kept on the bed. She also saw a note written on it.

She read the note "If you feel uncomfortable with the top color then you can change it, I have ironed another one too." She paused and looked beneath the top. There was a jade-colored top that had the same pattern as the cream-colored one. "Sweet!" She remarked at his thoughtfulness and continued reading the note.

"There is also a blazer, in case you want to feel warm, you can put it on. Nevertheless, it will only match the cream-colored top. Also, I have kept heels for you. If you prefer flats, you can put them on but I prefer that you should wear heels. That will make you look professional!"

"Hmm! He made quite a good choice!" Ae Ra hummed and kept the paper on the bed. Just as she kept it, her eyes fell on the words written behind the note. It was written "After changing come to the kitchen, I am making your favorite sandwiches. With Love from YOUR OPPA <3 <3"

Sandwiches? Ae Ra's mouth watered as she read the word. She quickly changed to her outfit. She chose the cream-colored top and instead of flats she chose heel, After all, it was her boyfriend's preference. She wanted to go according to him.

Keeping her short hair open, She clipped the side of her hair with a small black pin and went out of the room, humming. As she was going out, her phone beeped. Opening the phone, her eyes fell on the time, IT WAS SIX NOW?

"So, he did this all to wake me up, huh? I couldn't even bathe properly!" She cried as she always used to spend at least half an hour or 45 minutes in the hot shower. Today, was a record for her to take a break from her long time shower.

And today was also a day for someone to get a scolding... By someone, you might have understood who! (Wink, wink)
