Chapter Eight

"Stacey! Jace!" Mom shouts.

Stacey got out of her bed and got quickly dress in cropped top and sweatpants. Jace was the first one out and ready.

"Stacey!" Mom shouts again.

Stacey runs downstairs, "Sorry."

Jace finished his banana pancakes as their mom says, "In the car."

"Why?" Stacey ask as she grabs her bag.

"To hang with you guys, is that a problem."

Stacey shakes her head as her and Jace sits in the car. Their mom starts the car and drives them to school.

"So any friends? Mom ask.

Stacey and Jace both said yes at the same time.

"How's classes going so far?"

"It's going good and fun I guess." Stacey answers first.

Jace said the same thing just stayed quiet the whole time. They got out the car as they walked to the front of the school. Stacey locks arms with Jace as they walk to homeroom, the girl Stacey met the first day of school had fliers in her hands.

She shouts, "Homecoming fliers."

Stacey made Jace and her walk quickly away from her. They made it to homeroom. Jace was confused on what happened. Jace saw Caden and was about to talk to him but he saw the girl with the beatifu green eyes. Jade blushes, as he does he notices that they were holding hands. Jace sighs as he goes into homeroom. Stacey saw Jace mood drastically changed and rubs his shoulder as she takes a seat.

Couple classes later Nolan mentions that Stacey was hanging with Jax. Brett looks away feeling jealous. Stacey nods and told him what they did.

"That's cool that you guys hung out." Nolan said

Stacey smiles, "ya same here. The  nice thing is that he just like my best friend. They have the same energy."

As Brett heard that he felt better. He felt theres a chance to talk to her. Nolan chuckles at Stacey response.

"Umm there going to be a party at Cory place if you want to come."

"No thank you but thanks for the offer." Stacey answered as the bell rings

Before lunch started Jace went to the library to get some books for sociology. Jace bumps into someone again.

"I'm sorry, need to really watch where i'm going."

The person who he bumped into was the girl with the beautiful green eyes. Jace face was red as a cherry.

"Oh it's alright..it's you."she smiles.

Jace nods, "I'm J-Jace..." he stutters

She giggles, "I'm Primrose but people call me either Prim or Rose."

"It's nice to meet you Prim." Jace said grabbing books for sociology. He was unsure what to say cause Jace can be awkward at times.

"So Jace would you like to sit with me and some of my friends?" As she gets the same books him.

Jace nods as he and Primrose check out their books. Primrose leads the way to where her friends sits
