Chapter Seven

Stacey sees Jace eating lunch as she walks inside, "Where were you?" He ask

"In town with Jax."

"Cool." Jace went over to clean his dishes. He goes to his room sketching.

Stacey gets a cup of water when her mother saw Stacey, "Hey doll."

"Hi Ma." She says drinking water

"How was shopping?" She ask

"Pretty good, I bumped into a friend there and got coffee with him."

"That's sweet." Her mother said, "Well I have work early in the morning but Aunt Bell might come over."

"Alrghty." Stacey goes to her room tidying up her room as she puts some rock music on. She jams out to the music. Stacey flops on her bed and sighs

"What a great day huh."

Jace knocks on her door. "Come in." She said

"Can you turn off your music please." Jace ask.

"Yup." Stacey get up turns off her music as Jace goes back to his room.

She look at her phone seeing any text from her friend at her old town. But nothing just notification from some games on her phone. Seeing that there was nothing she wanted to do she just went to sleep early.

Stacey heard a knock on the door at nine o'clock in the morning. She walks down the stairs as Jace opens the front door.

"Aunt Bell...hey." Jace said slightly smiling.

"Hey cutie pie." Aunt Bell hugs Jace.

Stacey shuts the door, "Would you like anything Aunt Bell?" She ask.

Aunt Bell let's go of Jace, "Coffee and your Mom said that theres a pack for me." She said sitting down.

"I got it." Jace said going to Mom room.

Stacey pours Aunt Bell a cup of coffee as she sits next to her. "How long are you in town for?"

"Not long, just picking up some things for your Uncle."

Jace walks down holding a box, "Here we go."

"Thank J." Aunt Bell said getting up saying goodbye.

Later, Stacey opens her window and lights a candle. Brett saw her window open, thinking it's his chance to talk to her. Stacey sat at her window and looks at her cards. Brett opens his window and thinks what he's going to say.

"Hey Stacey." Brett said.

Stacey looks at the house beside her seeing Brett, "Oh hey." She surprised.

"What's up?" He ask

"Nothing much waiting until I go to bed." Stacey slightly chuckles. "You?"

"Same here, just can't for school tomorrow I guess."

Stacey nods, "Yep."

"By the way you play so well on the cello."

"Umm..thank you Brett." Stacey softly smiles

Hour gone by and they talked for hours. Brett finally got comfortable around her as Stacey was happy she had someone around her. They had some things in common like music, shows and candy.

Brett looks at the time, "Wow it's late, it was great talking to you Stacey."

"Same here, good night."

They both shuts their windows and head to bed waiting for school the next day.
