Red gate~ 3!

It wasn't much time passed since I started seeing the black fog emerging from each creature frozen in front of me. The magical energy was almost similar in all of them, just the long ones have a slightly higher mana pool.

I didn't know how to make them my shadow soldiers. But the command which the main protagonist gave was still fresh in my mind.

'Do I also have to say it'. I didnt want to say something cringe all the time I call my summons, so without any command, I raised my hand in front of the monster who was some foot apart from me.

(A/N: I think that command is the most sacred word not cringe at all. But whatever.)

'Arise'. I raised my hand in front of the tank, and just after thinking of the command the black fog suddenly started revolving around its body. However since I didnt target the particular snake, every dead body got mixed up in my summoning.

The black fog circulated for some seconds before a black armored 2-meter tall creature appeared in front of me. The size of it was bigger and bulkier than its previous body, with eyes flashing purple instead of yellow.

The same was for the lizards. Their tails were now some inches longer and sharper. The purple glint and buffed body were mutual for them too. Unlike before they looked more slightly. A total of 347 shadow soldiers of at least B rank ranging from higher to lower grade, joined my army.

Suddenly, after every shadow summoning was done, every monster stood tall with the serpents going on their tails looking higher than before and the lizards standing on the hind legs. Before I could doubt my necromancy and chant a spell to cut them off, their heads dropped down and all of them bowed in unison.

(I might have puked by looking at standing Lizards)

'Quite impressive'.

Karame Shoko's Pov:

'Is he a human?' A single question that could make the thing in front of my very own eyes reasonable and my mind restricting from going insane.

When the light of life was about to fade from everyone's eyes, someone stepped up to give us another chance. This person wasnt normal I was sure since the start. His aura was none existing the first point, which might no one believe until I don't show them.

Second, he was close to Ms. Fubuki, who never allows someone to breach her boundary. I am ashamed to admit that once I also tried to cross that limit only to get my all limbs bent in uneven directions.

And the third thing...

'His magical power is unbelievable.'

The time he used his water magic, the amount of mana I felt from him was far superior to any mage I have ever seen. I dare to say that all the mages from our team might not even compare to what he utilized in a single attack.

And now, he showed something which definitely I haven't seen from any hunter before. I have seen mages who could summon magical beasts or warriors but they could only handle two or maybe in a dire situation, three summonings. But after that, the mage becomes sucked dry and slumps down immediately.

But this...

This truly wasnt a humane. This personage was a special entity, one in a kind. I am now sure why Ms. Fubuki could still smile and trust his words so blindly.

This personage isn't a normal mage but a monarch.

Everyone had the same thinking and reaction as Karame. The mages felt that they have seen their God who have came to prosper them with knowledge. The tanks were as simple-minded as they could only sigh in relief and left their body unguarded.

Except for two people, no one seemed to understand what the shadow soldiers were and why they were paying respect to Subaru. But they knew they were now saved.

On the other end, Subaru was figuring out how to control them. He wanted to check how to share his summoning in Fubuki's shadow but his thoughts didnt work in that field.

After sighing he called every shadow and merged them in his own.

He heard a loud gasp from behind but instead of turning toward that sound, he moved toward the green-eyed beauty who also had a surprised look on her face.

"When you started summoning the undead?" Fubuki asked as soon Subaru came to her side.

"Just figured recently. " Subaru closed their distance and after wrapping his hand behind her back he faced toward the hunters.

"Should I clean up and get out or do you have something else to show?" Subaru asked in regards to the team battle included.

"Unfortunately no, nothing else. As you can see we all are spent. " Subaru hummed before focusing toward the ice field.

"Well, I can't say the same thing if you ask me out of the dungeon". Subaru turned his head toward the grinning Fubuki and with a smirk he confirmed...

" Then I won't take much time".

Just after saying farewell to Fubuki, Subaru hovered toward the volcano passing every frozen body on its spot. As soon he reached a certain distance, some figure started exiting the flame hole.

A 20ft massive serpent-like creature with a white scaled body, a thick tail supporting them to crawl. Two forelimbs had a trident held in one of them. The creature was massive in size and undoubtedly 'A' rank, only from their leaking mana.

Subaru still could have froze them using [Ullr], but he found a chance to try the different kinds of spells he has stacked until now. He didnt find any opponent to test them, so he was quite excited.

A total of 35 Nagas emerged from the hole and now they were standing in front of the tiny figure who was floating at their eye level.

Every naga released their killing intent in unison, to intimidate their opponent. Truthfully, the amount of killing intent that was focused on a single point right now could have instantly killed any hunter under D rank because of suffocation.

The crowd far behind Subaru also felt a tiny drop of the massive aura which was coming from the massive beasts.

However, Subaru was still standing relaxed...

"I was expecting more". Suddenly the whole demeanor of calm Subaru changed. His aura started engulfing every corner of the island. Obviously, it was felt by the hunters too but those who were some meters apart from him felt the most of it.

*TANNN* One after another, every single trident fell on the ground as well as the nagas.

They lay down on the ground with their heads buried on the surface. Subaru thought of them as mindless creatures but he was wrong.

Nagas held the most wisdom among their species so they knew the person in front of them were no ordinary presence.

They surrendered before even trying as they were sure, not in hundreds of years they could rival something like this. So they believed for their lives they needed to sacrifice their pride.

However...

"Hellfire". Subaru didn't have much of a care about their thinking and using his blue flames he burnt each of the Naga into cinders.

Generally, the reptiles who live inside the living flames won't have been affected even by the high-intensity fire element, but cyan flames were a catastrophe for them.

The burnt bodies of dead nagas who were prostrating some moments ago were now lying dead in the same position.

In the waves of flames, the supposed battle ended as a one-sided massacre.

Subaru sighed and made them his soldiers too. He didnt feel his much mana was used in recruiting them but the amount certainly was massively different from the previous snakes.

'Not bad. I can use them for my physical training.' What stood in front of him was 3 meter tall Naga with their fuming trident gripped in their hand and massive body shrank in half. Subaru called them in his shadow as he felt a massive surge of energy erupting from the inside of the volcano.

Fubuki was quite far from it but still, she also felt what this upcoming monster holds and how was this different and drastically more powerful.

Cold sweat dripped down her forehead as she focused on its magical energy.

Subaru had used a huge amount of mana until now but he was far from being empty. And the rate at which his mana regenerates makes him bottomless. He doesn't receive mana but he creates his own.

Suddenly the upper portion of the mount got blasted and a black figure darted toward the sky. Each person saw this figure and shuddered in a fret. Its mere presence gave them the chills. Even from this far they could conclude that it was the biggest thing they have faced until now.

Subaru titled his head and faced the monster who was sucking the magical energy until now and had sent his soldiers to buy time, only to fail in the end.

The boss monster woke up immediately when Subaru released his intent, so without wasting more time and soldiers he came to handle the matter by itself.

Flapping massive wings rhythmically, a black plated dragon was flying in mid-air. It was about 60 m in size. Its thick and girthy tail was swinging in the air. Its whole body was covered with black hard scales with two horns glinting with flames. Its mouth was slightly open with fire exhaling out in its every breath.

Many hunters would have already lost their wills to fight just upon its appearance in front of them. Or might even have shivered in fret but the person who was facing this massive dragon reacted that no one would ever imagine.

Subaru's eyes were sparkling in amazement with lips curved in full bloom smile and only one thought in mind...

'It's Charizard.'
