CHAPTER 4

*Tyler's Mansion*

Now time to go to hell or is heaven, he said but fell and the gun flew out of his hand. He tried to reach for the gun but was being pulled back by a weak Sly.

Jewel stretched her hand and took it. She was very scared juat now especially when she realised she insulted an innocent person. Since Sly was close to her and his cell phone was not also far from her. She took the phone and made a call which she thought will be an emergency phone call. They came a few minutes later and released her. They took the guy to the station but of course not without the police officers trembling at the sight of the guy.

Unconscious Sly and Jewel were taken home by one of the police officers.

They arrived home and laid Sly on the bed. Jewel sat by his side and stared at him sadly, she has done him wrong.

What has he done to deserve that from her?

But what has she done to also deserve that from that man?

That question, she wanted answer but it remained unanswered in her mind. She walked round the house, thinking about life which she knows nothing about but just Sly.

She saw the food on the dining table which was now covered and she remembered the day before. She remembered enjoying this food with a particular set of people.

She took the both food to where she thinks should be the kitchen. She saw the microwave and she started hearing voices like;

Microwave the food and bring it to the table.

She started hearing it repeatedly and saw that woman looking at her with hatred. She saw herself being scared and calling the woman, Mom.

This time, Jewel was determined not to faint, so she forced herself out of the memories. She switch on the microwave the way she thought should be done.

Few minutes later, she switch it off and bring the food to the table and she saw Sly sitting and looking at her confusedly and surprisingly. She smiled and knelt down to say sorry when Sly stood her up and said;

It's okay, anyone in your shoes would have done that, let's just thank God we are save now, he said as he stroke her hair, he just enjoy doing that.

Jewel started sobbing and Sly looked at her confused then she said "thank you Sly", he's just too kind to her.

Sly liked the way his name rolled out of her mouth and he smiled. He thinks he's going crazy like why will he smile because of that?

They sat down to eat. They ate peacefully while smiling at each other once in a while.

*Police station*

How dare you arrest my son? Kent said walking in. I'm gonna give you a thousand dollars or even a million dollars. Release my son right this minute.

Hey send it to him, Kent said to a guy by his side. Okay sir, the giy said.

Let's go, Clark, Kent said and dragged his son out of the station without the police doing anything as they were too scared to say a word. Wealth and fame is powerful indeed.
