Vladimir got down his car looking at the the display of the restaurant, it wasn't any restaurant they are well recommended online.

Xenia step down Garrett car closing the door her phone rang.

"They are expecting us, let us not waste any more time." Xenia said walking into the restaurant while picking the call in process.

"Am at the door almost in, don't worry you'd see me in the next seconds" Xenia said.

She stop to adjust her heels while Vladimir walk pass her into the restaurant, as soon as he was in his nostril was filled with the goodness that filled the air.

Xenia walked in still on call, her eyes scan around and stop at the end of the restaurant, she waved.

"Come on Vlad" Xenia said to him and she began moving.

Vlad turn to follow her when his eyes scanned the school students seated amongst themselves. He narrowed his brow seeing who was among them.

They locked eyes, she also seemed in shock to see him, it was at that moment a male student gave her a peck on the cheek.

Vlad jaw tick, he began moving forward still having his eyes fixed on her.

"Vlad, not expecting you tonight man, it been a while we met what sup?" The boys rant as soon as Vlad took a seat at the end of the table.

Xenia also took her seat beside Vlad using the napkin on the table to cover her exposed lap.

"So how's going, are the kids home or

They teased looking at Vlad and Xenia expectantly.

Xenia look at Vlad before laughing it off.

"Come on guys don't assume thing" Xenia said not denying it, she picked up a nugget from where it was piled up and chew on it.

"Hmm this taste really good?" Xenia complemented.

"Xenia and I have nothing going on so don't let your minds trail off too far" Vladimir said clearing the air.

Xenia stop her chewing looking at the nugget again suddenly losing her appetite but she covered it up with a smile.

"Right" she said.

"Oh my bad am sorry I thought you two were a thing..... Any way Xenia I love those shades I purchased last week it has been my favorite since then, look I have it on isn't it just gorgeous " a female among them named Gloria said.

"Right, All my cosmetics at home are all Touch cosmetics, to even think I once shared the same class with you two. Both of you are now celebrities in the business circle ".

Chat went around the table, Vladimir picked up a glass of beer and sip on it while looking ahead.

Ivanie was almost disappearing under the table, She was no longer hungry or willing to spend another minute at the table.

"What are you doing Ivanie, are you not uncomfortable sitting like that" Britney asked which made Jace to turn and look at her also.

"Are you having cramps, do you need help with anything?" Jace asked.

"No no am absolutely perfect" Ivanie replied him with a smile.

" I think I need to leave early" Ivanie told the rest.

"Why is there something urgent you need to take care of at home?" Malachi asked.

"Um yeah kind of" Ivanie replied packing up her things.

"Then we should all get going it pretty late already," Britney said standing up to carry her bag.

"Already who's going to finish all this?" Malachi asked pointing to the food on the table.

"Nothing we leave it" Britney told him, Malachi raise his brow at her.

"What, don't tell me you are taking it home to show your mom you had chicken nuggets before dinner??" Britney said raising her brow back at him.

Malachi signaled the waitress to pack the leftovers and they had it to him in a paper bag few minutes later.

As the duos proceeded to leave, Jace clock out their bills on his way.

Vladimir drop his glass of beer watching Ivanie leave he turn to look at Xenia talking to him.

"Do you want some ginger sauce goes quite well with the nugget" Xenia told him.

After Jace and Ivanie departed both going home in their various car, Malachi stood at the parking lot with Britney.

Both lived in the same estate and most time Malachi drives Britney fro and back to school.

At the other side of the road Malachi crossed, he walked towards a kid who sat on the street with his leg crossed and placed the paper bag of food at their foot. Malachi patted the boy on the head and handed him a few notes. The kids thanked him with a bright smile.

"Wow am seeing a different shade of you for the first time, I didn't know you have soft spot for the poor" Britney said as Malachi approach the car.

He got behind the wheel and start the engine he then turn to face Britney watching her buckle her seat belt.

"What?" Britney asked seeing as he was giving her a good stare.

"Have you ever about what you would do with all the money you have?" Malachi asked randomly.

"Well I don't have money my dad is the rich one not I, I haven't even earn a single penny my entire life so no" Britney replied plainly.

"Then try being in those people shoes. Imagine desiring something but it so far from your reach, won't you wish there was a helping hand" Malachi said again.

"Of course I would, am only human not immortal I can't perform magic to clear all my problems away" Britney replied.

"Then be humble " Malachi told her before driving out the lot.

Britney stare at him weirdly.

"What?" he asked going back to his usual playful self smiling.

"Did you eat anything weird?" Britney asked.

"Why?" He asked back .

"Seems you digest wrongly you are not behaving normal Tonight" Britney told him.

"I didn't turtle" he said calling Britney by his favorite nickname.

"Tsk don't call me that, stop irritating me" Britney scolded as they drove through the night.

Ivanie look out the window of her car watching the street light flash by as they drove, her phone rang and she saw that it was from her mom.

She picked up on the second ring and placed it on her ears.

"Mom?"

"It late Ivanie why ain't you home yet, your dad Is at it again, he has been trying your phone but you aren't picking, get here quick" her mom said and the line went off.

Ivanie drop her phone and sighed, she wish she was was all grown up at least living alone would be fun.

The car suddenly came to a halt, Ivanie frown she look at the chauffeur who turn to look at her and out the window at the tires.

"I think the tire is busted" he said.

"Busted?? What are we going to do, Ivanie look around the street to see it almost empty. Is it fixable " she asked now looking up at the chauffeur who had gotten down and was now beside her outside the car while she was in.

"We have spare tire in the boot but it could take up to an hour to get it fixed" the chauffeur said.

Ivanie look at the time on her phone and saw it was past ten.

"Alright get to work I will try calling mom again.

Ivanie said getting down the car, she tried her mom number but there was no network in the area.

"Oh goodness what am I going to do" Ivanie step away from the car as she search for network.

Suddenly a car came from a distance shining it head light at her, she tried moving away but it was coming directly towards her, she got pissed and glare at who ever was behind the wheel.

The car stop Infront of her the head light still on.The door pull open and Ivanie saw a silhouette of a man walking towards her, Unable to see properly Ivanie move to the side to avoid him.

"Where to Ivanie, are you guilty", Ivanie heard a familiar voice say to her.

Finally she was Able to see Vladimir who now stood two two feet away from her.

"Wh.....why would I be guilty?"

Ivanie asked looking up at him.

Vladimir let out a Chuckle, his hands in his pocket and his first two button opened.

"Right, we aren't engaged yet" Vladimir said he look behind Ivanie to see what was wrong.

He left Ivanie side and approach the chauffeur who was fixing the car, after having a little chat with him, Vladimir approach Ivanie again.

"Common am dropping you home" he told her walking towards his car.

Ivanie watch him with a frown.

"Why would you take me home? you are not my chauffeur".

"Would you rather stay and be feasted on by mosquitoes?" Vladimir asked her and soon enough she heard the annoying sound of mosquitoes in her ear.

Without another word Ivanie ran to his car and made herself comfortable.

Vladimir got behind the wheels and buckled his seat belt, he turn on the engine, he look towards Ivanie who did buckled hers.

He turn to her and reach out, Ivanie shrink back in her seat, expecting some weird moves from him.

Vlad stop to look at her before reaching out to pulled her seat belt and buckled her in.

Ivanie sigh as soon as Vladimir was back to driving.

"Have you been informed the engagement is taking place next week Saturday" Vlad told her.

"What?????

"Next what???? Isn't that so soon I..... I.... Mean. Why are comfortable with this, you are getting engaged to an underage you should be worried" Ivanie panic.

Vladimir eyed her up and down before replying.

"You are? I saw you having a go with your boyfriend earlier isn't that considered illegal you should have him sued" Vladimir said going off the other direction.

"No I mean am eighteen but not in a few months, whatever. What are you twenty six that eight years apart you should be bothered about marrying a childish whinny child like me" Ivanie said trying to ruin her image in front of him.

Vladimir shrug.

"It not that further apart, and am not the one making the decision" Vlad told her.

"Nooo? You are old enough to birth someone old like me" Ivanie said which made Vlad raise his brow.

"I couldn't have given birth at eight, that quite ridiculous being a father at such young age" Vlad said to her calmly but Ivanie wasn't having it.

"You should refuse this joining, your friends would make fun of you for marry a highschool student" Ivanie said.

"My Friend's won't mind honestly, none of them Lives around and you would be graduating in a year so it okay " Vlad said to her.

"Well my friends would talk, I have a boyfriend for heaven sake and I love him" Ivanie said to Vlad.

"Do you now?" Vlad said Narrowing his brow, Ivanie gulp and look away.

She gave up trying to reason with him is pointless.

Vlad drove into the shanks Mansion, he stopped the ignition and look over at Ivanie who was fast asleep, she looked so tired he didn't want to disturb her.

Vladimir came down the car and went to the other side of the car, he opened the car door and stood for some minutes staring at Ivanie flushed face and pink pouted lips, she wore a frown while asleep.

"Vlad??" Mrs Shanks called, Alex turn sideway to look at the woman who stood at the door.

Vlad said nothing and unbuckle her seatbelt, he carried Ivanie in his arms and took her in.

Mr Shanks came down the stairs the frown on his face which cleared off as soon as he saw Vlad.

"Vladimir you....." Mr Shanks was saying but was interrupted by Vladimir.

"Where's Ivanie's room?"

Mr Shanks pointed up and Vladimir took Ivanie away to her room.

After laying her properly on her bed Vladimir came out her room to see Ivanie parents looking up at him.

"Leave her be, don't scold her she was with me" Vladimir told them.

"Of course with you is good" Mr Shanks said.

"Thank you" Mrs Shanks said.

"Have a good night I will be on my way" Vladimir told them before leaving the mansion.

Vladimir got behind his wheel and frown recollecting the boy who sat beside Ivanie at the restaurant.

He place a call to James who picked up almost immediately.

"The schedule with the school make it tomorrow and accept their invitation" Vlad told him.
