In the evening, after finishing his work at the Celadon City base, Giovanni returned to the Viridian Gym. After sending away a few trainers who had come to challenge the gym, Giovanni made a video call to Ariana.

"What did those four do today?" Giovanni asked.

Chen Yue looked at the pensive group and got up to bid them farewell, saying, "Alright, we've said what we needed to say, and it's getting late. We should go back and rest. Otherwise, if the people monitoring us see us here, they might think we're conspiring."

The other three didn't hesitate and got up, their faces filled with contemplation, leaving the place.

After they left, Chen Yue lay on his bed and brought up Mimikyu's information panel.
