Life 46: Judging a book by its cover

Taking a closer look at each character- no at each person I noticed that they simply weren't recognisable-

They looked different hell the world looked different when compared to my life before.

Everyone seemed to be much more umm, what's the word yes attractive, they were much more built and felt stronger.

So really their looks didn't match what I thought they would but it makes sense the Universe is randomised after all.

Guess I shouldn't judge a book by its cover after all or whatever they say.

But enough of that- We had Loki's sceptre which meant that if Selvig did indeed open the portal we could use it as a countermeasure and stop the invasion.

And I knew that gonna be impossible- why?

You may say well its because Thanos is coming regardless of our false deterrents around- Earth has been recognised and we can't do anything other than fight for it and grow in strength and wisdom to combat his threat.

But as the Captain put in his ideas for his plans it all came to a fault- 'Underestimating Loki.'

Due to the arrogance or rather optimistic thought process of the Captain he had believed that Loki the Asgardian was finally captured.

But as fate set things in motion it follows up and so it did as Loki was gone- his cage that even the Hulk would find trouble in was destroyed as its molecules had become unstable and free he was.

Sensing around he was gone I knew that and thank God I had already put Nat in charge of Stark Tower- a while ago.

And as the Captain finished his words the entire helicarrier went into a frenzy due to the escape of the hostile extra-terrestrial that levelled a little of Germany.

No man could hold that much power thought Fury yet he remembered me- an even bigger problem? Ally?

He knew not yet he knew help was needed.

It was obvious the whole situation was serious and hearing this the Avengers were startled especially Captain America yet as soon as he frowned it became a smile a positive mindset was always needed he knew it.

"Natasha so where'd you say you put that suit again?"

Asked Captain as the redhead in question showed the Captain a suit of Kevlar and Stars behind a metal wall that opened up as if on command and there stood every ones costumes.

The Captain donned on what he wore for Winter Soldier, Hawkeye had something similar in dark purple- Daredevil had his own version of this suit with his signature devilish red eyes and Wanda had on a suit like Widows slightly maroon- the Hulk simply stood there with a cardigan.

"Hey, Bruce- aren't you gonna change? That Cardigan is definitely gonna get destroyed?"

However, as I said that in a matter of seconds double helixes formed around him in mid-air as he donned on a majestic red cape with a suit of armour and holographic looking Kamar-Taj symbols.

He was a wizard- "You're a wizard Bruce!"

"Yeah after I stayed in Kamar-Taj I learnt a lot and Magic was one of the bigger things - but through it, I also faced several failures- like ending world hunger..."

"But it was a bust after all too many countries refused the food and grains due to a somehow stronger than the lives of innocents pride- a pride so ingrained, so hardwired they destroyed the offerings given to them due to feeling like I was mocking them.

It was surprising that so many nations would decline this offer with no strings attached- but I realised I was doing it wrong- instead of fighting that all alone- it would be better to truly take step after step instead of arriving at the finish line.

When I started the Ancient One said no- but my heart refused and my aid was unnecessary until I looked at it the other way and began to set up charities and then began to improve the malnourished and locals slowly step by step."

"And Leon aren't you changing?"

Turning around I noted that Thor was ready with a fresh breeze of lightning surging around his body whilst his hammer seemed glued to his hand ready for combat- grinning at me he said- "Well you ready Leon? Fighting like old times sake!"

Turning to me he put a hand on my shoulder much like a friend as he said- "Due to your help saving Jotunheim and Asgard, I believed you were worthy of a reward something that I needed to give you due to the invaluable help you provided.

And hearing this and sensing your familiar energy the All-Father decided to grant you the Position of {God Of War} the title he once held- it was given to you as was his true gift-

The Apple of Idunn- to help you assert dominance and accept your newfound position of Asgard's God Of War... Here!"

After Thor said this I looked down and saw a beautiful apple-like object in Thor's hands- it was so beautiful that it's mere look enchanted me- it was vigorous and youthful and it felt like my heart was palpitating.

The nature of it was incredibly awesome and divine alright it felt amazing and as soon as I saw this fruit my entire body's essence flared up-

My golden energy turned scarlet before appearing like blood as my hair turned red as if washed in my enemies blood before my eyes turned scarlet.

This fruit was awakening my Soul Form- the ability and form I gained after defeating the Scarlet Dragon that bypassed my roots and enlightened me- allowing me to achieve this form-

It was a divine form and I never thought I'd acquire it due to needing half a dozen pure-hearted Saiyans.
