New Bonds, New Bounties, and New Horizons

Sunlight filtered through the transparency of the submarine shell, drenching the ship in a warm glow. In the merged cabin, the scent of the sea mingled with the lingering aroma of their shared warmth. Both of them lay entangled, a testament to their nocturnal activities, their nude bodies bathed in the ethereal morning light.

Theo stirred first, his eyes fluttering open to catch sight of Mavis in his arms. His gaze softened, taking in her tousled black hair, her peaceful expression, and the delicate curve of her body against his. He couldn't help the surge of affection that rose in his chest, a feeling that was new yet overwhelmingly right.

"Mavis," he murmured, his voice husky from sleep. Mavis stirred, her eyes flickering open to meet his. In that serene moment, there was nothing else but them, wrapped in the sanctuary of their shared space.

"Mmm, Theo..." she replied sleepily, nuzzling her face into his chest.

Theo hesitated for a moment before gathering his courage, "Mavis, I love you." His confession echoed in the tranquil silence of the room, the words hanging in the air.

Mavis' eyes widened momentarily before a soft smile spread across her face. "I love you too, Theo," she responded, her voice tinged with sincerity.

Without another word, they shared a passionate kiss, sealing their confession to each other. As they pulled apart, both of them noticed the change in the room.

Their eyes wandered over the enlarged bed, the lifeforce feature that was now more palpable. The rooms had merged, creating a much larger, cozier space. The previously separate quarters now seamlessly blended, reflecting their new status.

Mavis giggled, glancing at Theo. "Seems like the ship approved our relationship."

Theo chuckled, pulling her closer into his embrace. Their morning started on a beautiful note, signaling the blossoming of their love and their journey together. Unbeknownst to Theo, a hidden mission had been completed overnight, a mission that would significantly impact their growth and journey together.

As they lingered in the comfortable silence, Theo felt a sudden wave of alertness. He squinted his eyes, concentrating on the notification from the main system that had suddenly popped up.

"Congratulations on completing the hidden mission: Establish a mate bond. The reward is shared growth and sub-system activation for Mavis."

Surprise rippled through Theo. A sub-system activation for Mavis? This was something he hadn't anticipated, but it was a pleasant surprise. A shared growth meant their powers and skills would progress in tandem, an advantage in their pirate journey.

His gaze turned serious, and he faced Mavis, who looked at him with a curious expression. He took a deep breath, preparing to divulge a secret that had been his alone till now.

"Mavis, there's something I need to tell you. Something about me...and the ship," Theo began, his voice steady despite the nervousness that bubbled within him. He went on to explain about the system – how it had presented him with the ship, how it had gifted him the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Fenrir, and how it guided him in his journey with mastery, exchange, and mission systems. He delved into the details, leaving no stone unturned.

Mavis listened, her eyes wide with surprise. As Theo's story unfolded, her surprise turned into understanding, then astonishment. She remained silent, absorbing everything Theo told her. The existence of the system, the ways it had been guiding Theo – it was a lot to take in.

"So...this system is like a mentor, guiding you, providing you with resources and skills?" she finally asked, seeking clarification.

"Yes," Theo nodded. "And according to the latest notification, it has activated a sub-system for you, though it's limited. It only includes the mastery system."

Mavis blinked, then a slow smile spread across her face. "So, we're partners in every sense now, huh?"

Theo chuckled, pulling her closer into his embrace. "Yes, we are."

They sat there, contemplating the vastness of their new reality. The system had just intertwined their fates even more tightly. It was an unexpected twist in their journey, yet it felt right. For Theo and Mavis, it was another step forward in their adventure – together.

As soon as Theo and Mavis appeared on the deck, hand in hand, they were met by the curious eyes of their crewmates, Sai, Soma, and Gram. The ship's overnight transformation was already a source of wonder, but the sight of their captain and Mavis together, coupled with Mavis' limp and the distinct hickeys, added another level of intrigue.

A teasing smile spread on Gram's face, and she broke the silence, "So, what happened after we all dozed off, Captain?" Her eyes danced between the couple and the evident changes in their ship. She was clearly interested in both aspects.

Clearing his throat, Theo took a step forward, preparing to address the questions lingering in the air. "Well, after our battle yesterday, the ship underwent some significant changes," he began, his eyes scanning his curious crewmates.

"We now have a mode change system which allows the ship to transform into a submarine, adding another layer of defense and stealth for us." Theo continued, gesturing to the new fixtures and designs incorporated in the ship.

At this, Soma chimed in, visibly impressed, "That explains the strange vibration last night. We're even more formidable now."

Sai, ever the composed one, looked at Theo thoughtfully. "And the meditation chamber you mentioned?"

"Ah, yes," Theo responded. "The meditation chamber is designed to help us focus and improve our abilities. It's a tranquil space where we can train our minds."

Nods of appreciation greeted his words. Gram, however, was not done. Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she looked pointedly at Mavis, then back to Theo. "That explains the ship, but what about...the other changes?"

Theo, sharing an amused glance with Mavis, simply said, "Mavis and I...we've grown closer."

As laughter and playful whistles echoed on the deck, Theo felt a sense of unity. Their journey was just beginning, and as their captain, he was resolved to face any challenge that came their way.

Catching the infectious laughter, Theo cleared his throat again and began to detail the upgrades.

"The Mode Change system we now have on Silver Wave can transform our ship into a submarine at a moment's notice," he explained, a sense of pride echoed in his voice. "This adds a crucial advantage for us, enabling the ship to not just sail on water, but also to navigate underwater, providing us an extra layer of stealth, and opening up the possibility of exploring the sea depths. Moreover, the top layer of the submarine mode is transparent, giving us the same range of vision we have while sailing. It's a major tactical advantage, considering how it can aid in both evasion and surprise attacks."

Sai, still slightly stunned, murmured, "Incredible. We've just become significantly harder to track down, even by the Marines."

"And that's not all," Theo continued. "The Meditation Chamber, it's a space devoted to mental and spiritual growth. It's designed to enhance focus and create a serene environment for learning and growth. This would particularly aid us in honing our Haki, given how crucial mental concentration is for its development."

At this, Soma's eyes lit up, already eager to test out the new facility. Mavis added, "And since it's created with a specific energy conducive to meditation, it could potentially speed up the process of learning Observation Haki."

"And what about the ship itself?" Sai asked, running his hand along the railings, observing the visible changes in the wood quality.

"The ship's wood has undergone another enhancement," Theo responded, mirroring Sai's gesture. "It's still far from Adam's Wood, but it's definitely stronger and more resilient than before. With each upgrade, we're inching closer to that level of quality."

As he concluded, a sense of awe had replaced the playful ambiance from before. The crew, understanding the gravity of these changes, looked at their ship with newfound respect. Their Silver Wave was evolving, just as they were, on this vast sea adventure.

As Silver Wave emerged from the water and transformed back to its ship form, the crew fell into a contemplative silence, marveling at their new capabilities. They resumed their journey, their spirits high and determination bolstered.

A while later, they spotted a News Coo flapping its wings erratically, a sure sign of fresh news. Theo reached out and gently took the newspaper from the bird. His eyes widened as he unfolded the paper, revealing new wanted posters.

"Theo..." Mavis gasped, pointing at the largest bounty poster prominently displayed on the paper. It featured a picture of Theo, his Fenrir form prominent, the caption beneath it reading, "**The Beast of Ragnarok**, Bounty: 350 Million Belly." His strong leadership skills, decisive victories, and powerful Devil Fruit had surely grabbed the World Government's attention.

The second poster showcased Gram. Her ethereal beauty was apparent even in the sketch, with her sharp eyes glowing with knowledge and determination. The caption read, "**The Divine Quill**, Bounty: 120 Million Belly." Her quick thinking, strategy formulation, and information gathering skills had made her an essential asset to the crew.

Next was Sai, depicted in the poster with his fists ready for battle. "**The Iron Fist**, Bounty: 180 Million Belly," the caption read. His exceptional physical strength and superior hand-to-hand combat abilities had surely earned him this recognition.

The final poster was of Soma. His large, imposing figure took up most of the sketch, his usually playful smirk replaced with a serious expression. "**Gourmet Goliath**, Bounty: 150 Million Belly," the caption underneath him read. Soma's unique cooking skills, contributing to the crew's health and morale, and his surprisingly strong combat skills had warranted his bounty.

Notably missing from the list was Mavis. Despite her crucial role and significant strength, it seemed the World Government hadn't identified her as a threat yet, keeping her out of the bounty radar.

The crew exchanged wide-eyed glances, a mix of shock and excitement rippling through them as they processed their newfound 'popularity.'

Seeing the bounties, Sai frowned, his gaze focusing on his nickname, "The Iron Fist."

"That's it?" he exclaimed, crossing his arms over his chest, "That's the nickname they give me? It's so... so... boring!"

Theo chuckled, "What did you expect, Sai? 'The Invincible God of Punches'?"

At this, the rest of the crew burst out laughing, even Mavis' lips curving into a grin.

"No," Sai retorted, pointing a finger at Theo, "But something more intimidating than 'The Iron Fist'. I sound like a second-rate brawler!"

"Sai," Gram spoke up, her voice barely containing her amusement, "I hate to break it to you, but that's basically what you are."

More laughter filled the ship.

"Irritated," Sai declared, "I'm going to attack a marine base. That'll force them to come up with a better nickname!"

Everyone fell silent, looking at Sai in disbelief, before breaking into even more laughter. Even Theo, usually calm and composed, was holding his sides, tears streaming down his face from laughing so hard.

"Sure, Sai," Soma managed to say between fits of laughter, "We'll eagerly wait for your new nickname."

As the laughter died down, Theo stood up, a sudden seriousness about him. The mood instantly shifted, his crewmates falling silent and turning their attention to him.

"Everyone," he began, his voice firm and steady. "We've laughed, we've celebrated, and I'm glad we have. We deserve it. But let's not forget how we got here. It's been a hard journey, full of trials and tribulations, full of struggles and pain. And it's only going to get harder."

He paused, letting his words sink in before he continued, "We've made a name for ourselves in West Blue, and that's no small feat. But we're just getting started. Our journey's only begun."

He glanced at each one of his crewmates, their expressions serious but determined, "Now we're strong enough to venture into the Grand Line. That is our next destination. It's not going to be easy, but I believe in us. I believe in our strength, our resolve. And I know we can conquer whatever challenges that come our way. So let's set sail for the Grand Line!"

A chorus of affirmations followed his speech. Sai, his previous irritation forgotten, was the first to respond, "Hell yeah! Let's show the Grand Line what we're made of!"

Gram nodded, her eyes burning with determination, "The Grand Line won't know what hit it."

Soma grinned, cracking his knuckles, "I've always wanted to taste the food from the Grand Line."

Mavis reached out to take Theo's hand, squeezing it gently, "Wherever our journey takes us, we'll face it together."

With newfound resolve and determination, the Silver Wave set its course for the Grand Line, ready to make their mark in the most dangerous sea in the world.

Hello, readers! Thanks for your constant support and enthusiasm. I've taken her role from Fairy Tail to heart. I plan to maintain her position as a tactician and navigator as well as a major decision-maker aboard the Silver Wave.

To further develop her abilities and contributions to the team, I've decided to give Mavis a Devil Fruit! The poll is currently up and running, but it will close tomorrow. This is your last chance to vote or suggest changes. Your input is crucial in shaping Mavis' character.
