Master or should i call Gerald is reading peacefully, but his eye's emits acceptance. But to what?
I swept the floor slowly making my way to him "master"
"Uh" he responded not breaking his eyes from what he seemed to be reading.
"You're perfectly. reading it. Upside. Down." I state every word.
He was shocked, and didn't noticed himself (well that's a talent)
"Ah.. yes" he frowned and massaging his temples.
"We haven't introduced ourselves" He was a little shaken.
"Gerald, but from now on just call me grandfather"
(What's with the sudden change?) But it's better that way then..
He placed his hand on my forehead and recited, Ancient language.
"What name. do you want, for yourself?"
(so he's naming me.. I dont want to use the same name twice, not because i hated the name but its to break my last connection with her.)
"Astri" He recited my name, He even transferred a quarter of his power to me.
"This is!?" I ask confused as to why he'd do that.
"You are my student so its only right that i give you" He patted my head and left the room limping.
(So that why i heared something crashed..)
I'm still speechless and didn't get to say thankfully, (but I'll meet him in a while when class starts!)

Astri has no problem being comfortable, as she sees no threat to her at all, but accepting one as family is not easy.
The old man had begun to soften and more affectionate like a grandfather would, but when it cimes to chores he's still strict with her.
He kept on claiming some, what if's, something happens, and all telling her to become independent, it just reminded her about the deadline of their deal...
She brushed off that thought (Time will make you realise that you will always need me!) She thought to herself determined to make her stay.
He sees how more determined she is, and he's relieved. He won't have to worry about leaving her behind soon.. two years is a short time, if only he could prolong his life then he'd officially adopt her as granddaughter.

The swan's grew to accept Astri, Gerald warmed up to her and knowing his future he adopted her officially. His heirlooms and treasures, would become useless when he's gone.
Rather than, those adventurers steals his treasure, he would rather give it to astri.
It can greatly benefit, her future adventure.
The swans also took part in teaching Astri, and taught her their skills and knowledge.
The white swan still is as cold as ever, but Astri never fails to noticed his concerns for her.
She came to love her new family, she wished for it to last forever...

"Lila! I don't like this dress! It looks like marysue!!!" I whined hugging the 6'5 tall Lila.
(Yes 6'5!!!)
She picked me up with both hands, facing to her.
"Nonsense!! That's exactly how a child your age should dress!" Erine stated.
"IM NO CHILD!" i yelled to her.
"Missy you're only turning 4 this year!" She shot back.
"Enough" lila cuts it between.
She took the bunny hair clips, and clipped my two buns. "Lila.." (I know my dignity long shattered and i don't mind doing it twice!) I gave her my puppy eyes.
But sadly she grew immune to it when she prioritise something else..
(she want it for me too..)
We got out of the tower and outside is where we will celebrate it, (not literally outside but infront of the tower)
Lila, Viole, is in charged with the venue and they did amazingly. the theme is nature, which i love so much!

"My! Would you look at that! Is that a Princess of rainbow land!" She announced my presence.
I flinched, embarrassed with my dress and what she called me i coverd my face.
(oh damn double damage to my nonexistent dignity.. no is it my soul this time?)
I hear other noises, and looked up my surroundings, there are actually other guest!!
"Is she not the one you chased after?"
I hear a voice and i saw familliar eyes. I backed away a little.. if swans can turn to humans then so were those!
I hold grudges to those monsters that almost killed me! Now they infront of me, I stare at them with hostility. While the golen eyed man, elbowed the guy that talked loud.
They tried to come closer but i backed away, i ran and hid behind grandfather.
"What's wrong?" He looked at the direction to where i pointed and he soon understood.
He bent down and carried me, walking close to them.
"Astri, they didn't mean to. They had a long history With other species, that almost led them to extinction.. with your presence back then they labelled you as a threat, they just wanted to look at you, but you ran faster than they thought, which confirmed they're suspicion of danger"
(I can understand with just those words, but my trauma with them is not gonna leave, just because they didn't mean to or they're sorry!)

The party continued and more guest arrived, what caught Astri's attention was, were those from the floating Palace.
She talked with everyone, and The black wolves tribe, tried their best to appease her anger. It's not good for them to offend the great sage!
But all it took was a baby puppy that they gave to her, made her forgive them
(hold up.. isn't rhis their kin?) She held up the puppy facing her and asked "How old are you?"
The puppy did not respond and just acted dumb
(Uncle said to act dump! I'll reach greatness if i succeed!)
But it gave away when the puppy averted its eyes
(Stupid puppy..)
"Now i wonder whats it's GENDER?" She laid the puppy flat, which caught it off guard.
(Fuk) The puppy cursed, It looked from its uncle and he only return and pitiful look and a thumbs-up.
[FIGHTING!] While the other tribes men looked away. A tear escaped the puppy's eyes
(you mthfkrs!) accepting her fate bearing the humiliation.
"Its a girl" Lila came out of nowhere, and took Astri's hand away from the puppy.
"Wash your hands with this holy water" the gave her took the big bowl from Erine.
Astri washed her hands, and continued to enjoy her party as it's almost time for gift. Ech representatives gave their gifts and its a lot of treasures!
But she was waiting for her families gifts, Erine came first with a blessing of the fairys of harvest for fairys touch, Adding up a magic staff.
She waved the staff and it felt light, she happily waved it trying to imitate something from her past life "Abracadabra!" She shot fireworks to the sky.
(WHAT!? ISN'T THIS SUPPOSED TO BE NATURE STAFF!?)
