The Great Mystic Forest [Edited]

Outside the Laboratory near the hidden Interns, I was checking all my things on the ground.

[10 knife and 2 daggers, check.]

[1 bow and 30 arrows, check.]

Everything was there. Nothing is missing, right?

On my right hand, I was wearing a grey ring on the middle finger. I activate it using my mana and then...

All the things that was on the ground started to glow, then went inside the ring. I think you guys can guess what kind of ring is this. A dimensional storage ring.

How did I get this? By crafting ofcourse, Senoki sensei taught me how to make one. And it was very easy to make.

I didn't really make the ring, I just borrow it. The ring was originally belongs to the Professor. So I took it as the new owner, since he doesn't mind that too.

What? I didn't lie when I said that I can craft one after learning how. I just don't have the materials that is needed to create one. And I was just joking, not lying.

Anyway, the ring is a high quality one. An (A) grade magic artifact. It can store more than 300 things, as long as the item is less than 300 kg.

Let's check the other things. I looked at my clothes and armors that I was wearing. I was wearing a long sleeve dark purple shirt, and a dark brown pants. Both of them were made by me using Fabric Manipulation Magic. It was made from the same Lab coat that the Professor has in his closet. And because it's fabric material is made from a high quality, I decided to use it in making my own clothes.

On top of them, I was wearing a light chest armor, two vambrace armor, and two greaves armor. I also made them from melting the Professor's armor, since their sizes were all bigger than mine.

[Yosh. Now I'm ready.]

Hm? Almost forgot. I activate my ring again and took out a dark cloak from the dimensional storage. It was the same cloak the Professor used to hide himself when he was traveling to the Black mountains. The cloak has the ability to resist some magic and physical attack, and the ability to hide the scent from wild beast. But the coolest thing is that it never get dirty, no matter what. I won't need to wash it daily, that's good for me.

I decided to use this cloak as my main clothes, since I will definitely get dirty and bloody when traveling and hunting.

Now I'm ready to go.

I looked up at the mountains as I murmured.

11 minutes later, I arrived at a large cliff on top of the mountain. The view was beautiful. I could see the clouds below and the sun rising.

I took a long breath, enjoying the fresh air. The wind were blowing strongly, causing my cloak and my hair to flutter wildly. After enjoying the view and the air for 2 minutes, I looked behind. About 30 feet away from the cliff, there was a grave that I made 5 days ago. It belongs to the Professor Sellius, which I buried his body. I couldn't just leave it in the Laboratory, so I decided to bury him in a place where he can see the beauty of this world. I have to thank Senoki since she's the one who told me about this location.

I walked towards the grave and stop in front of it.

On it was a tombstone that I made, written his name, date, and title.

I knelt down and start praying for him.

Finishing my pray, I stood up and activate Plant Magic. 6 seconds later, a small plants started coming out of the ground near my feet, growing fast. Then, 5 white flowers started to bloom. These flowers were called "White moon flower". It can only grow on high mountains.

I picked up the flowers and placed them on the grave.

[I will be going now... Grandpa.]

I said my goodbyes to the professor and left.

The reason I called the professor "Grandpa" in the end because he was going to be my Grandfather, if he didn't die. And also because he is the one who created my body. Parents and grandparents do not create souls for their child, they create the vessels for the soul. And because Mart created this body, then the moment I entered this body and made it my own I became his grandson. Or his son. That's what sensei told me.

27 minutes has past after saying my goodbyes, and I am now in the Mystic Forest. Right now I am reading the information in my head about this forest. I even made Senoki create a map pictures of the area around me, like in some video games. Top left of my view, I can see the small map inside a circle. Clicking on it using my mind, it can be projected in front of my eyes like a 3D map. So much handy I would say.

'This forest really is huge'.

After observing the map for 2 minutes and pin pointing some marks on it, I began to move. It was my time to hunt.

'Activate Wind magic: Wind Control, Body enchantment, and Mind acceleration.'

I activate three magic to boost my body and agility, then jump on a tree branch. I used it as a platform to jump on to another tree branch as I dash forward, heading to the destination that I marked on the map.

[So this is how it feels to move like a Ninja.]

I murmured to myself.

About less than 6 minutes, I finally arrived. I'm now standing on a tree branch looking down at my targets. Eight Wild wolves sleeping next to a large rock. And one of them is sleeping on top of it. Must be the leader.

Senoki already send me the info about them. The people of this world call them "High Grey Wolf", a Rank C wild beast. But that's only if they were on a  group. One wolf is a low rank C, but 10 of them or more can make them a Rank B threat beasts.

I ask Senoki about the surrounding area. Since I don't want other beasts to come here, disrupting me while I'm hunting them.

I took some deep breath before starting. Then I jumped down.

*Thud!*

The sound of my landing caused some of them to wake up. One of them howled loudly to wake up the others.

[Awoooo!~]

Finally, they all woke up. They were staring at me with an angry eyes. Must be because I disturbed their nap. But it looks like their leader had other thoughts when it saw me.

Hunger. That's what he is thinking right now.

[Garrr!]

The wolf leader... bark? to his subordinates, ordering them to attack me. Immediately after, seven of them run toward me. I can see from their eyes that they want to rip me apart and eat me. Unfortunately for them, they are the ones who will be eaten.

I raised my right hand and activated water magic.

Two shape swords made of water Materialized in the air and shot toward them, killing one of the wolves.

I then jump far to the side as I'm trying to keep my distance.

One wolf was sliced by wind magic and another one was blasted away. The other four wolves that was behind them jump to the side, ignoring their dead comrades that I killed.

I touch the ground with my hand and use Earth magic to kill two of them.

'Activate Earth magic: Earth Spikes"

*Spuck!*

Multiple spikes came out from the ground stabbing their bellies under them.

The last other two wolves that were behind have stopped. They look a little terrified by the scene. I took this opportunity to take my sword from my dimensional space. I'm now going to use only sword against them. It was time to test my swordsmanship.

The two wolves rush toward me. One of them jump at me, aiming to bite my neck. But I easily dodge it and ran to the other wolf. Thrusting the sword forward, the wolf was stabbed in the face.

*Spurt!*

Then, another attack was coming behind me. Twisting my body to turn around, I slashed horizontally at the incoming attack.

The wolf that I dodge earlier was cut to two. Blood was spraying everywhere around me and my cloak got some of the blood, but I ignored it.

Turning around, I looked at the leader who was still on the large rock.

[Grrrrr!]

It glare at me with anger because I killed all his underling... and some hesitation too. Unlike the other grey wolves that I killed, this guy has a silver fur and it's more intelligent than the other. A High Rank C Beast. The reason it didn't attack me yet is because it was waiting for me to get some injured or exhausted from fighting the other wolves.

I placed my sword back in the dimension ring while staring at the leader. A second later, it jump down from the rock and was about to attack me.

Well, I don't need to use a sword to kill it. I already used magic and sword to kill the others, now I'll be using my fist against this guy.

It run towards me, much faster than the others. But I'm still able to see it's movements, because I was using Mind Acceleration. I dodged it's attack by jumping above it, doing front flip and jump back a little after landing, keeping my distance away. It then turn around and rushs again at me. But I dodge it and avoid being bitten or slash by it's claws.

After doing the same thing for more than 12 times, it was then my time to attack.

After receiving the information, my eyes became a lot calmer, and my mind and body became more relaxing.

I then took a fighting position. Placing my right foot on front, I straightened my back and lowered my body a little. Placing my left hand behind my back, and my right hand shaping like a blade (Shuto) in front of me. I took a stand that's similar to Guy and Lee. The silver wolf was already tired from running around, but still it didn't gave up. Again, It rushed toward me. The moment it jump at me, I raise my left leg and did a roundkick, kicking it's head and sending it flying to the side.

I watch it trying to stand up again while shaking its head. It then glare at me with more rage and start attacking me again. But I easily dodged it to the side and gave it a little force of punch on the left side of its body. It made a growing pain sound but it still kept attacking. Even after receiving multiple hits, punches, and kicks, it still keeps coming. Finally, I decided to end it.

Activating Mind Acceleration magic again, I dodged the last attack and placed my hand on its neck quickly. I then used my thump to press it's pressure point, knocking it out.

[Nugh!]

The wolf fell down on the ground unconscious.

Exhaling, I took a bottle of water from the dimension storage and drank it.

I was playing around with the wolf for more than an hour, despite I was low on energy because I didn't have my breakfast yet.

After finishing drinking, I went to the dead wolves and stored their dead body inside the dimensional ring. I then looked at the unconscious leader.

[... Should I kill it?]

I asked my self. Killing it and selling its body will give me more money than the others wolves that I killed, since a High Silver wolf are rare.

But still... I can't just kill it while it's sleeping.

That's evil. For me that is, don't know for the other people.

Nah, screw it. I'll just leave it be.

I then left the area and headed to the next target. It's already 5 o'clock in the morning, and I still have one hour left for breakfast.

The next targets are wild boars.

9 minutes later, I reached the area where a large group of wild boars stayed. Their numbers were 38. They were all staying on a large field. Other beast cannot locate them in this area because of the smell.

[This place stinks.]

I complained. The field that the wild boars are using is so smelly. That's because of the type of plants that are growing here. "Mosuls plant" a plant that produces an awful smell. That's why other animals don't like to come near it. Except the boars, they can't smell it. They use the plant as a way to keep other beast away from them.

'Activate Air magic: Air manipulation, and Air protection'.

By using Air magic to change the direction of the smell in the air, I'm able to avoid the smell. Now I can start. I then Activated multiple types of magic at them.

'Activate Ice magic: Ice bullets. Wind magic: Wind slashs. Fire magic: Fire balls. Water magic: Water bullets. Earth magic: Earth Lances'.

*Boooom!*

I think I over did it.

I used five elements at the same time. But I used a little mana in each one, to keep it more balanced and less wasting mana. 17 boars died by the suprise attack. The rest of them got panicked and began running around like crazy. Some of them tried to escape, but I blocked their way.

'Activate Plant magic: walls of vines'

*Sukk!*

Multiple deadly thorny vines appeared from the ground around the field, blocking their way to escape. Three boars were killed by it, because they charge towards it. The walls were not so high, only about 155 cm. They can't jump that high.

I took my sword from the dimension storage and enhance it.

'Activate Wind magic: Wind enhancement, wind control, wind resistance'.

I dashed forward, slicing at 3 boars with the sword that is now covered by a light green wind.

'Activate Fire magic: Fire enhancement, fire resistance and control'.

Changing the element that's covers my sword from wind to fire, I slash at two boars.

[EAAKKKK!]

The fire spread all over their bodies, making them cry in pain. Turning toward a group of 6, I saw them charging towards me. Deactivating the flame on the sword, I change it into earth magic.

'Activate earth magic: earth control, earth manipulation'.

Raising the sword above me, it started to get covered by rocks, until it's shape changed into a greatsword. I then swung the sword horizontally at them.

*Bam!*

The impact send them flying, killing them all. I then looked at my sword, which was now broken into half. I Forgot to add some resistence.

[Tsk!]

Clicking my tongue, I used Water magic on the sword to recreate the missing parts of the blade. Running into one of them, I slashed Diagonally, killing two more.

*Slash!*

I then changed the water into ice attribute by freezing it, and to make it more effective in killing them. Finally, three boars were down.

I then looked around to see if there was more. Surprisingly, only two boars left.

[How did I miss you two?]

I commented. I didn't realize they were on this group. They were both much bigger than the others. About 165 cm height.

[Eeaaaak!]

They began charging at me.

'Let's see... I already used 5 elements, adding the plant. What left is lightning and...'

*Stab!*

Stabbing the half Ice sword on the ground, I activate water magic and create a field of water. It quickly spread around me from the blade until it reached the wall veins. I then used lightning magic on the water. And you guys know what will happen after that.

*Bzzzzzzz!*

Sparks of electricity spreads on the water, reaching the two boars that were charging at me, stunning them permanently.

After electrocuting them for 30 second, I raised my broken sword, aiming at one of them.

'Activate Light magic: light beam'.

A small beam of light was shot out from the tip of the sword, pearsing it's head and killing it. Next, I raised my left hand at the last one and activated dark magic.

'Activate Dark magic: dark manipulation, dark control'.

Five dark tentacles came out from the boar's shadow, pointing all their sharp tips at the boar. With my left hand still pointing at it, I clenched my fist.

*Spurts!*

The five tentacles pearse through its body, ending its life.

After storing their bodies in my dimensional storage, I start having my breakfast. And in the same time, checking the report and information.

It seems I used more mana than what I was originally planning.

Senoki is informing me about the results of the fighting that I had. Like the Experience gain, mistakes, unnecessary moves, less uses, magic control, bla bla, and many other things. This feels like a teacher showing her student the results.

Anyway, let's start revision from the beginning. First, my swordsmanship. I'm still lacking in experience, despite I already finish learning all the basics. When I used the sword to kill one of the wolves, I had some difficulty in cutting it's body, even after putting alot of force. I'm still unable to do a clean cut on the target. I would need to use a Body Boost on the swing or enhance the sword with Sharpness if I want to do that.

Here is another way to explain it more easily. If you tried to cut a fruit into half, for example, an Apple. By using a kitchen knife, you will need to put alot of force into it. But if you tried cutting a boiling egg, you wouldn't need to do that. That because the egg is a lot softer than an apple. Even if you throw both the apple and the boiling egg in the air, and tried cutting them midair, you will see the difference. The egg will be cut into half easily, while the apple will be stuck on the knife.

That is why during my fight against the boars, I enhanced the sword with magic, to make it more easy for me.

And speaking of magic, I'm still lacking at it too. Using multiple spells at the same time takes a lot of time. The five elements attack I used took 12 seconds to cast it. Doing something like that needs a lot of concentration and focus. But if you have Senoki you won't need to do that, since she is able to guide you. As for casting an elemental spell alone, it's much easier if there is a Source. For example, casting a wind magic was easy because there is Air. All I need is to Manipulate the wind in the air and Control it to cast it faster and stronger. Same goes for the others. The air used as a source for Water, Fire, and Ice magic. Ground used as a source for Earth and Plant magic. Lightning magic comes from electricity in my body. The sun light reflecting on my sword used as a source for Light magic. And the Dark magic, which is similar to Shadow magic comes from the shadow.

I murmured while still reading the report thing. I guess that's all for today. Finishing eating my sandwich, I look at the digital clock on the top right of my view. It's 6:23 morning. I think I'll hunt one more prey before looking for a place for the night. I'm planning to sleep somewhere in the forest.

Information

-The dimensional storage ring can only store non-living beings such as dead animals. It can't freeze time inside, including freezing the foods from rooting. Xora keeps his foods in a large wooden lunch box he made, with some runes engraved on it to keep the food from rooting like the food storage in the Laboratory.

-White moon flower only grows on high mountains and use the moon light to grow instead of sun light

-The map is created from Senoki info. The Skill is not an AI system. it's a system that provides information like Google. Xora only Copy Past the full map of the forest into his computer brain.

-Because Xora has a AI or a computer like brain, he can see like an android if he wants, by adding new fungsion and upgrading it, like adding the map system in his brain and upgrade it to 3D, or 4D if he wants. And those things he is able to do with Senoki's help. Like programming your own computer with new systems after getting the info from Google.

-Xora using different kinds of magic but the same types in the same time is alot easier for him than using different types. For example, using wind resistance magic, wind manipulation magic, and wind control magic. (different magic but from the same type) is more easier than using wind magic, fire magic, and dark magic. (Not the same type).

-Xora likes to shouts the Activation magic in his mind because it helps him memorizes the feeling in his body, and to not inform to his opponent during battle.

-In battle, Xora doesn't always takes the fight seriously, he likes to test all what he learned on his opponent, and treating them as a dummy target to test his new moves on them. With the help of his Skill that is. (4shadowing)

-The water bottle is made from aluminum, not plastic.
