Stadium

The ship belonging to Alyssia had travelled through the New World as it was heading towards a certain location that an Eternal Pose was pointing to.

Alyssia lay relaxing under the sun as she sipped a cold and refreshing drink. 'We should be getting closer now, I am so glad that I was able to get the Eternal Pose just as the location and time had been announced. We should be on time if we keep up this speed.'

A satisfied smile appeared on her face as she remembered sending out number one, two and three to investigate into the underworld and more famous public events that drew in many people.

She was able to find out the date and place several months ago and it had fit in quite well into the time that she wished to pass the Red Line and she was able to get the Eternal Pose as it had been sold in many places to allow entrants and viewers from all around the world.

During her time on the ship, when she was not learning something new she was instead going over some martial arts techniques she had gained.

Among them was the progress that Luffy had made on Red Roc and the Diable Jambe from Sanji which both used fire in their attacks in some way so she had collected them into one category and combined them to increase her understanding of fire type moves so she was able to learn more about how to control the heat produced, how to create a more explosive impact and how best to use it without causing harm to her body.

She was not made of rubber so she could not produce the same effects as Luffy but she did have her own methods to do so as she had already been able to replicate Sanji's technique.

She also wanted to gain a little knowledge about the effects and power created by each of the attacks so that she could come up with ways to counter such effects as the fire and heat really helps add an extra layer damage to attacks that would break past tougher defences.

It could be said that without Diable Jambe being in Sanji's move set, Sanji would of had a much more difficult time defeating some of his opponents and he may have even lost to them.

Just like the Eight Impact Fist, Diable Jambe is an excellent counter to tough physiques, Zoan Devil Fruit users, armour and Iron Body but it does have the risk of burning oneself if not used properly by the user.

When the two are used together, they become even more powerful as she had tested them after she had combined many of the other techniques she has mastered.

Her previous masochistic training had also helped her to gain some more insights so she did not have much difficulty learning it.

So far she had mastered shockwave or impact attacks, penetrative and slashing wind attacks, body flexibility and hardening defensive body control, increased body manipulation and control, extreme movement speed on the land and air then there were the Elbaf Spear which maximised her attacks potential power in a single finishing move and the fire, heat or explosion based martial arts.

Even the Dragon Claw technique from Sabo had been learned by her and those insights had been put towards improving her techniques further but that did not mean that she did not know how to do it if needed.

She had continued to improve her upper body martial arts to suit parrying, grabbing and directly confronting attacks when her other limbs were kept busy so that she could better protect her body from multiple attacks on her at once so that she would be more difficult to take down so the Dragon Claw, Finger Pistol and using her hands and arms to perform her other techniques was a requirement for her own survival.

Although she could rely on her technology, suits and weapons there was always a limit to their durability and they needed to be equipped or taken out as they had to be carried with her at all times to give her an extra layer of protection.

Her final goal was to be the strongest martial artist and many of the things she had made to help herself or her friends had started to lose their usefulness as she ascended to greater heights.

As Alyssia stepped off the ship, she was followed by Yvie, Val, Li, Liushi and Sunila who had joined her to watch over Xena and Yao as they wanted to watch what Alyssia was about to do.

Many people had been docked and had made their way towards a certain direction but some stopped to ask for directions from the locals.

Yvie tugged at Alyssia's shirt and asked. "Can we not take part in this to test ourselves a little?"

Liushi looked over with an excited look on his face and Sunila had also shown a look of curiosity.

Alyssia shook her head as she replied. "The last time we did that, we had exposed the strength of many of our crew to the world. Although it was helpful for the White Storm back then, this time we need to keep some things secret so only I will go."

Yvie lowered her head in disappointment. 'Aww.. I wanted to show her how much I have improved.'

Yvie was the one who had received the most care from Alyssia and many recognised her as the direct disciple under Alyssia so it was natural for Yvie to want to prove herself and seek approval.

Although Alyssia had taught everyone close to her in some way to allow them to reach their current state, Yvie had the worst starting point so Alyssia had to build her up from nothing and teach her many things to help her survive.

Due to her upbringing in the wild, she was quick to adapt and had an excellent survival instinct so as she absorbed everything that was given, she had exceeded Alyssia's expectations.

After wandering around to sample the local food and drink while taking in the new environment, they had finally made their way towards a large stadium where there was a large line on one part as people were signing up while there was another couple of lines for those entering as a viewer.

Alyssia waved farewell and pinched the faces of Xena and Yao who were about to be taken away. "Watch carefully all of you, you might learn something from each of them even if you may look down on their strength."

Liushi nodded with a look of determination in his eyes while Sunila looked over at him and let out a light snort. 'Fool.'

Their relationship had become friendly as Sunila had adjusted to being around men but she had quickly recognised that Liushi only had a mind for martial arts to the point of getting overly excited at times when fights happen or there is a chance to test his abilities.

The last battle he had against the Lawless King with the support of others had taught him that even if he had excellent control and techniques, there were some individuals that were difficult to cut down due to there being a vast difference in physical endurance.

Even if he had been able to cut him, his cuts were not deep enough to inflict a fatal injury so that battle had left him frustrated.

Although Sunila was interested in the stadium and the battles, it was only because it kind of reminded her of her home where many warriors fought each other.

The pink haired robot named Val had remained silent the whole time but nodded her head before following the others so that they could go inside and find their seats.

Val naturally followed her masters order but she also had the natural desire within her programming to gather more data on different fighting styles and battle tactics.

Yao and Xena had waved their small arms to their mother and revealed pitiful looks as they gained more distance with her.

Alyssia stood in the queue for a long time as many people had come to sign up and they had to have enough skill to participate.

Alyssia had received many strange looks due to her strange appearance and due to her gender but she ignored it all.

"Tall.."

"She is participating? Do you think she will even pass the first test?"

"Do not underestimate her, look at that figure."

"Hmph. It must be the result of her race."

"Some are just born strong while others have to work hard to improve themselves."

"Indeed. The world is unfair."

As she heard the later discussions around her, she rolled her eyes. 'This is all natural from my own hard work! You fools! Hmm.. I guess I did get some advantage due to my race and I did take a serum to help me improve more… and I do have a system to help me gain additional stat bonuses… okay fine! I am a cheater! But do not think it was easy for me to get here! Hmph!'
