Final Farewells

Several days later, a large figure could be seen disappearing and reappearing by Alyssia and each time a palm strike or slapping motion followed but she quickly avoided it and kept avoiding any follow up attacks.

While Kuma was reappearing and following up with his attacks, Bonney was entering the battle as she began to join in on attacking Alyssia until her legs were swept from underneath her and she lost her balance falling to the ground.

She reached out towards Alyssia's leg as she changes her age to an infant which allowed her with a chance to touch her but before she could do so, Alyssia disappeared from that place and appeared behind her avoiding a joint attack from both Bonney and Kuma.

Alyssia kicked Bonney on her bottom which cushioned her fall a little and helped her avoid any fall damage to her infant body and then dodged the next attack from Kuma using her advantage of speed to the best of her abilities along with the Flash Step that she had developed.

Before Kuma could react again, a kick landed on his tough metal neck from behind and pushed him to the side a little because of the heavy impact behind it.

Although she had held back a little to avoid damaging any of his parts, she had applied enough to let him know that she had been successful in attacking him at a fatal enough location on his body.

If more force was applied then his parts and neck would be shattered and he would have to undergo repairs.

In the worst case scenario he would have to report who caused that damage so she held back.

Although Kuma was quite quick for his size, Zoro was able to land a hit on him before the timeskip but it was unknown if that attack had been allowed since Kuma was confident in his defensive abilities after being turned into a cyborg.

However later after the time skip Zoro, Luffy and Sanji were able to destroy or cause heavy damage to a Pacifista's body with a single attack which showed a little of the technologies body limitations.

Kuma underwent the same operation but he still possessed enough experience and his Devil Fruit to let himself hold his position as Warlord and play a crucial role in the war as he could put up a fight against many powerful foes like Ivankov even if Ivankov had held back a little because of their past friendship.

It had been stated that Ivankov's bounty was at least one hundred million berries so it was quite vague about his true bounty value based on his combat strength but most Warlords had differing frozen bounties which did not reflect their current influence and personal strength however Kuma did have his frozen at two hundred and ninety six million berries so Alyssia estimated his true strength before she met him to be slightly above four hundred million berries or just below someone with a bounty of five or six hundred million berries at most when every one of his abilities were put together.

With her current strength, she believed that she would find him to be a suitable opponent for herself with her current strength so she began to use him to test herself and improve her skills through proper experience against someone close enough to her or slightly above in terms of bounty value.

His greatest strength was that he could deflect her attacks and send them back at her and create air bombs and fire air attacks at her from far away so she was defeated in the first couple of battles but as each day passed, she got used to the fights and found out the best ways to keep him from using his abilities and not allowing him time to gather his ultimate techniques but she had not seen him using Haki so either he was holding back against her or that was his full combat power that he was capable of.

Even with Bonney assisting him, she was able to create gaps in their defences and strike a winning blow.

Kuma stretched his neck to loosen himself up. "It seems that you have adjusted well enough so I expect you will want to be leaving now."

Bonney looked betrayed. "You cannot! Where will I get any more delicious food from?"

Alyssia smiled at them and replied. "I cannot stay here forever as there is still so much for me to learn out in the world."

No more time could be spent on Sorbet and Kuma would soon have to return too.

Kuma walked towards her and then spoke. "Turn your back to me, I have a gift for you and I hope that I can put my expectations on you after I have done this for you."

He hoped that she would not become a terrible plague on the world and would not trouble his friends within the Revolutionary Army."

Alyssia replied. "You do not have to worry about me so much, I will not change much from how I currently am unless something big happens and even then I would not harm innocents to achieve my goals."

"Then that is good enough." Kuma placed his palm on her back and a red bubble was expelled from her body that shaped into a large paw print. "This is all of the pain, exhaustion and hidden injuries that you have built up within your body over the years. Now that it has been removed, how do you feel?"

Alyssia looked at the red energy in front of herself and sighed. 'Indeed I have built up a lot over the years from training and sparring since a young age.'

She then stretched her body and replied. "I feel lighter, energetic and I guess I could say that the current state of my body has improved a little as if what had been holding me back has now been removed."

Hidden injuries, fatigue and pain within the body that has built up from many years of training would have some affects on her abilities even if they were minuscule and it may even affect the speed of her training and her talent in the later years of her life or stop her from reaching her full potential.

What Kuma had done for her was just like using a method on her body like a marrow cleansing to wash away the impurities that would impede her progress or cause her serious illness or injury after building up for many years.

Even most of the remaining contents of the medical solution impurities that remained in her body after using it had been expelled allowing her to keep the resistances she had built up without having the leftover parts remain in the body and be a potential danger later and possibly clog up her veins or mix with something that she eats in the future to become like a deadly poison within her body.

Kuma scattered the bubble until it no longer remained and then held out a piece of paper which had been a part of Alyssia's Vivre Card which she had given him. "When do you want to leave?"

Alyssia frowned. "After I have had something to eat then I can pack some things to prepare myself."

Flying through the air for days without preparation was a crazy act for anyone that had chosen to do use this method of transportation.

Starving or dying because of a lack of water was just the basic problem that many had to deal with when sent flying by Kuma.

In the worst case scenario, the bubble may even pop and the person inside may fall to their deaths but Alyssia was far more worried about food and drink but also keeping herself from boredom so she prepared a bag full of books, food, drink and many other things.

Just before leaving Kuma handed her another present. "You mentioned before that you like to study various lifeforms and the effects that Devil Fruits have on their body so I began to wonder the true motive behind you harming Bonney before even if the wound was so small. I have a theory that you needed her blood and some other samples from her body to improve your understanding of them so you used the call to me as additional way to acquire them without others knowing. I do not know how much my own body has been tainted by the experiments done to me but my own blood, hair and skin samples should at least be helpful to you in some way if you are truly that capable."

He had been around scientists for a long time so he was able to notice the smaller details in her actions and the true goal behind obtaining harming Bonney after learning a little more about Alyssia.

Alyssia broke into a cold sweat as she was seen through but she was grateful for the gift that was given to her so she took it without much delay. "Thank you! By the way have you memorised the various times and locations that I have stated along with some key details I mentioned for other times to send me somewhere?"

Kuma nodded and then raised his hand. "Are you prepared to go?"

Alyssia waved to Conney and Bonney before replying. "I am. Farewell and if you are out somewhere in the world in the future, I hope that we can meet on friendly terms."

The next second Kuma's palm came down and slapped her out of the space where she was stood as she disappeared and flew towards an unknown location.

Kuma turned to his family and opened his arms warmly to signal his intention for a final farewell.

Both Conney and Bonney jumped into his embrace and began sobbing once again.

Once they had settled down, Kuma suppressed his emotions to not show his restlessness and then kindly smiled to them. "This may be the last time you will see me so please live on and stay healthy for both my own and your sakes. Goodbye."

As he disappeared, Conney and Bonney burst into tears again but after a little time, they had suppressed their unstable emotions and began to call back the retainers and loyal guards back into the palace to return the country to its normal daily affairs.

The family had been living in seclusion with nobody near them to avoid anyone picking up on Kuma's arrival and what they were up to within the palace with Alyssia.

Little did they know but fate would begin to work so that Bonney and Alyssia would meet again in the future.

Alyssia had left out one crucial piece of information about Bonney and that was that in the future, the Marines would be looking for her and put a bounty on her head after she had escaped them.

With the end of Kuma coming closer, those in charge had to prepare for another political hostage to take his place so Bonney would be chosen to take his place before his death.

However she would escape from them and turn pirate becoming one of the Worst Generation in the future, when captured by Akainu after the war of the best she was not killed by him who was known to be extremely ruthless to those he viewed as evil existences.

Instead she was captured but later was able to escape but the World Government was obviously behind what had happened to Bonney which forced her into a life on the run.

After the truth was exposed about Kuma and what had been done to them, Sorbet would become enraged and possibly hostile.

Although Sorbet were not to be feared by such a big power, it was better to solve any future problems by suppressing and controlling them further.

Gaining another royal from their direct line as a political hostage and potential candidate for the Marines or as a Warlord was a way to better control Sorbet and warn them that they had more than enough power to control their princesses life but also could end it at anytime.

However their arrogance would backfire as Bonney would escape and turn many of her captors and those keeping watch over her into babies and elderly people.

She would later travel the Grand Line as Jewellery Bonney and become a complete gluttonous character with excellent potential to challenge strong people in the world.

During their time together, Alyssia had given Bonney a couple of tips and instructions on how to better train her body and passed on some palm, claw or grappling based martial arts and some basics on some techniques that could help better dodge attacks or move quicker that suited her so she would not fall too far behind the others within the Worst Generation.

Bonney began to study what had been gifted to her after Alyssia and Kuma left but she did not know that it would have such a big impact on her future.

She had great potential with her current capabilities but she was lacking a little compared to others in terms of stamina and durability so she had to make up for that with mastering her own style suited for her Devil Fruit and picking up additional skills that suited it too so that she could contend with those with a much higher bounty than herself like Kid, Luffy and Law.

Alyssia already considered her a potential ally so she would not be so stingy with what she had passed onto her.
