Calling for the Kidnappers

Eight months after, Mrs Johnson experienced pains in her back and she was rushed to the hospital and gave birth to a baby boy and went back home.

Then they carry the baby to the Native doctor on the fourth day after child birth. And the Native doctor carried the baby to the house of power And came out after few minutes. Then he gave the baby to the mother.

"The gods have demanded for a ram every year for sacrifice in order to have him live long," said the native doctor.

Both of them agreed to do so and they left.

The following year they bought a ram and took it to the Native doctor's and the Native doctor kill the ram for him and his family and they ate its meat. The native doctor always used the ram to celebrate every year with his family.

Mr And Mrs Johnson trained up the child and the child grew up in their home. The child's name was Laughter.

"Love, now we can build the mansion that I proposed, thank God we now have our child that will inherit our property.

And we will not suffer much when we are old," Mr Johnson said with gladness.

Then he went ahead to build the mansion he dreamed of. Building of the mansion took them seven years to be completed. Then they pack their Logages and move to the mansion.

When Laughter was in Junior secondary school, he had a terrible fever which made Mr and Mrs Johnson take him to the hospital for treatment.

The Doctors tried there best to restore his health but to no avail as the fever became worse.

When Mrs Johnson noticed this, she went to the native doctor to complain. And the native doctor told her to bring the child.

And she went back to the hospital to tell her husband. When Mr Johnson heard it he went to meet the doctor in his office.

"Doctor I want to take my child to the pastor, for special prayers, so I want him to be discharged right now!"

"Mr. Man don't risk the life of your child. it is dangerous for you to take him out of

the hospital," said the doctor.

"See doctor do what I asked you to do. Since the day I brought him here for treatment it has just being like from fry pan to fire. I see no changes and it has just become worse. So do what I asked you to do or else you bear the penalties if he die here."

"Ok if you say so, your child will be immediately discharged."

"Yes, now you are talking with sense, Come on go and do what I asked you to do before it gets too late."

Then the doctor discharged Laughter. Finally, they took him out of the hospital and rushed him to the native doctor because he was half dead.

When they got to the native doctor, The native doctor took Laughter to the house of power and told him to lie down on the Altar. He said some incantations and went back to the waiting room where Mr and Mrs Johnson were seated.

"Laughter will stay in the house of power for three day before he could get healed. So the only thing you will be doing is that, you will have to be bringing his breakfast, lunch and his supper until he is healed," said the Native doctor.

They agreed and did as they were instructed.

Laughter became healed the third day as the native doctor told them. And they were happy and they took him back home.

Laughter spent three years In junior secondary school. He didn't repeat any class. He was an average student upon all the private lessons he was exposed to.

When he was in senior secondary school, he was confused by one of his friends to join a bad gang in school, and he joined them. He was engaged in drinking of alcohol and smoking of cigarettes.

He later got admitted into the university of Ibadan and was a cultist in his university days.

One day something terrible happened to him in school during their school fight.

His cult members and their rival meet in one of the Junction in the school premises. The rival were forty in number while his cult members were thirty five in number.

The two cult members face themselves. Laughter cult members were not afraid because they all have one or two charm in their body which they use to defend themselves.

While facing themselves, the distance between both of them was about Eleven to twelve fit length.

And one of their rival through out a big stone to one of his target and the one he had target move away from where he was standing so that the stone will not injured him.

Then Laugher cult members were annoyed and brought out their weapon to attack them.

And when their rival saw that they were coming, they also move forward to meet them.

Laughter cult members were with dagger, some of them came with swards in their hands while their rival came with swards, bow and arrow.

And before Laughter members could meet with them Their rival were ordered to shoot their arrow and they did as they were told Immediately.

And the arrows flew and killed five people in Laughter gang while the rest of them bent and escaped. while some move away from the arrows coming but five of them at the back were late to see the arrows coming and they died.

In Laughter's group, their leaders asked them to throw their daggers inorder to injured their rival and they all did as they were instructed. And the daggers injured just three people in their rival group.

Their rival were asked to shoot their arrow again but before they could shoot Laughter's members have already got to their side and the rival put down their bow and arrow and started fighting them with sward to sward

The person who was fighting with Laughter noticed that his sward did not affect him at all because he had a protective charm In his body.

When he noticed it, then he brought out a highly charm and use it to hit Laughter and Laughter fell down immediately and died.

And the person went ahead and hit about ten to twelve people in Laughter cult member group and they all fell down and die but when the rest notice this, they all ran for their lives.

Five days after Laughter death, Mr Johnson didn't know that Laughter had died so he tried to call him so as to asked about his studies but his phone was switch off.

He thought that maybe the NEPA didn't bring light in there area that was why his phone was off. So he try to reached him the second and third day but it was still same.

So Mrs Johnson subjected that they should call one of his friends in school that he had his friends phone number.
